This has to be my favorite chapter I rewritten. The original version is lacking so much detail  it could've had. And the dialogue was also lacking a bit. Once again thanks to Descendantsfan03 for letting me use the quints in this chapter it means a lot to me and if you haven't yet go check them out

Georgie and Nala  look out the window for signs of danger as Drea drives to where Daley was last seen living as they arrive, a gunshot is heard from a distance. The three women instantly  pull out their guns. "I'll  sneak around  the back. You keep him distracted. " Drea says and Georgie  nods.

"Sure why not they always end up shooting at me anyways."  Georgie  says with an annoyed huff. Drea nods, making  a break for it, Tomo following behind.  Georgie  lets out a breath, "Be with me." Georgie  mutters looking  up to the sky before  cautiously  walking  out. Leaving Michi by herself in the car gun still trained on the guy in case Georgie needed backup

 " I can't believe Georgie  is  going  out there to face a killer with Drea and her sister. She's  never going to be able to do it." Ava says as Tessa rolls her eyes. 

 " Guys you've heard them, they apparently  have had worse, and we all know Georgie. Once she puts her mind to something. She is stubborn and can do whatever it is." Tessa says confidently she has seen Georgie at work before  and her sisters would be surprised  at how tough Georgie has become. 

 " Yeah, but she is still Georgie.  She has a caring  heart and she couldn't  possibly  hurt anyone. She could barely  stand us arguing. How could  she stand actually  hurting a human being? It's  against her nature." April fires back.

" She is raising  a kid now, April. Things have obviously  changed and she has adapted to the life she is living now, " Evie starts slowly with a look out the window, " Though I can't  help having a bad feeling. Why don't  we find them and just observe." Evie asks hopefully

Tessa looks between her sisters warily; she didn't  want to mess this up for Georgie. She knew this meant a lot to Georgie  if she was willing to give her life for it, "We can't go yet no one is here to watch Eden, " Tessa spoke calmly, " Plus Georgie told us to stay out of this. There has to be a good reason why, " Tessa argues looking directly at the young girl who was talking to Pumpkin.

 " You guys can go, I can easily watch Eden, " Lola says and the other four sisters immediately shook their heads no. Even Pumpkin growled her disagreement with that thought, guarding Eden from her once pupsitter. 

 " Georgie would kill us if we allowed you to stay alone with Eden, she is so overprotective of her…" April starts before someone else spoke up and none of them recognized the voice. 

 " That's because she has people willing to persecute her, our world is a living horror with a ticking time bomb that could mean mine and the passengers' deaths, " the Indian woman spoke passionately and Eden looks up with a smile. 

 " Miss Saanvi your here! Are my aunties going to be okay, " Eden asks hopefully and Saanvi sighs, her whole demeanor changing. She hated lying to the kid, but she honestly didn't know how safe her friends were. 

" I'm sure they'll be fine sweetheart, they're stronger than anyone expects whoever is causing trouble will not be able to defeat them easily, especially since Michi is with them. She is special just like you. She'll make sure they get home safe and sound. " Saanvi reassures and Eden smiles and nods,  " Why don't you go play in your room? I'll be up there in a moment after I talk to Georgie's friends, " Saanvi told the girl sweetly and once the girl was gone she turned to the quints. 

 " Thank you for watching her while I got here, " she told them before turning and glaring at Evie. "Remember what Georgie told you, go home our world is dangerous and there's a reason she wanted you to stay out of it so I'm asking you as kindly as I can for Georgie's sake, just stay out of it. You don't want any part of this curse, " Saanvi spoke, her voice calm, but holding an edge to it. 

The quints nod and Evie leaves the house slightly pissed, " We definitely have to check on our friend now I'm getting worried, " Evie says and Lola nods in agreement. 

" I guess we should, but let her do this on her own. Let's not mess this up for her. She and Drea know what they're doing." Tessa says as Evie and her other sisters nod. As they magically  teleport  to where Georgie  was at.

" Hey you, mess with someone you actually  want to mess with. Georgie  calls out getting  the killer's attention.  The man turned toward her his gun moving with him. Georgie  instinctively puts her hands up ready to draw her gun if needed. "Why do you want to kill me?" Georgie  asks aloud as she puts her hands down glaring at the guy. She knew who he was. She had seen him from bushes and places trying to kill her. This was the final battle between her and the targeter and she knew she had to win. 

The man's venomous voice startles her out of the thoughts, "You are cursed, killing people like their nothing, you don't deserve to live, none of them do, " he replied, totally stoic and unbending. 

Georgie scoffs slightly, " I bet you weren't  saying  that when the plane disappeared, " Georgie starts forcing her voice into a deadly calm manner as she looks her opponent in the eye. She continues when he doesn't speak, " I remember  the time. I was never on the plane, I am not one of them, I only know these people because I worked  with their families  who thought  they were never going  to see their loved ones again. The plane coming back was a true miracle, and not even a gun to my head is going  to change my mind," Georgie says with determination, her eyes trained on the guy watching  his every move.

 " How is it a miracle when you're  cursed!" The guy continues shouting. He points an accusatory finger to an injured Daley. " If it weren't for this idiot, none of this would've happened, " he accuses and Georgie sighs. 

 " We're not a curse, we're just ordinary people who want to lead normal lives, but no one will let us, " Georgie points out what has been the hope and dreams of both her and the passengers. It's not their fault fate chose them for something greater, whatever that may be. " Trust me, we would give anything to not have to deal with this, to not have the weight of saving people on our shoulders, " Georgie tried to reason. She couldn't understand how people thought they wanted this to happen. 

 " Look at so many people who have died because of you cursed people. You do not deserve to be here, not after all you have done. I'm getting justice for those who have died at the passengers' hands, starting with you, " He snarls threateningly

 Georgie  gulps, ducking as the first bullet is fired, pulling out her gun and seeing Michi has done the same. Could she really do this, could she really kill someone? She didn't know, but then she remembered it was killed or be killed in this cruel world. If he shot at her she was allowed to shoot back.  " I would not do this if I  were you. If you shoot I have a reason to fire my own shot. I don't want to hurt you, but I will if I have to, " Georgie  warns, aiming her gun at the man. She was not going to die a martyr, because she was not throwing away her shot at freedom, well at least temporary freedom. " Please don't  do this.."  Georgie  asks pleadingly, still not wanting to shoot him. Sadly the guy made his choice with his next words. 

"It's too late." The guy murmurs before  all are startled when another shot is heard. Seriously! There were two shooters! Georgie's thoughts scream as she quickly  dodges the bullets heading  to the safety  of her car  door and staying  behind  it.

"Drea, code 180. I repeat code 180." Georgie  says quietly  through her comms as she grabs her gun and a knife. "They chose the wrong people to shoot at." Georgie  mutters before  hearing Drea's voice through  the comm

"I caught sight of the other guy . I'll  get him. You just focus on getting the other guy," Drea responds quickly and Georgie  nods in agreement at the plan.

"Affirmative,  call if you need back up." Georgie  replies, while the glass of her window shatters  around her. She ignores it, getting scratched was the least of her worries right now. She slowly maneuvers to get a better angle before looking towards Michi. 

 " You're a surgeon, where is the best place, lower body for me to shoot, " She calls to Drea's sister who thinks for a moment before turning completely towards Georgie. 

 " Aim for the top of the thigh, there's an important artery there that will have him bleeding out in minutes, " Michi says surely and Georgie nods, taking her aim…

 " Why is she taking so long? Why doesn't  she just kill  him and get it over with." Ava asks in disbelief and Tessa rolls her eyes. Georgie  had changed, but her compassion  still seemed to shine through  the now tough exterior. 

 " Her compassion  hasn't  changed, she's  not a serial killer, she's going to give him every chance  she can before  killing. " Tessa says, not knowing that the reason Georgie hadn't shot yet was mainly because she needed to know the best place to shoot… Yet another  shot rang out, but this one sounded farther away.  The quints shared a glance. There had to be another fight going on somewhere.

 The guy shoots again and Georgie pants, slightly summoning her courage, before pulling the trigger delivering  a killing  blow. The man crumpled to the ground before her eyes. She immediately turns to Michi, " I think we're good, you need to go help Daley now, he's not in good shape, " Georgie told the surgeon who nodded, getting out of the car disgracefully and running towards Daley. 

 Her eyes flashed pink as she  looked at Daley trying to see what he had injured. It was times like this she was very thankful for her Xray vision. "Georgie, this doesn't look good at all, " Michi reports after seeing all the damage done. " I'm sorry, but he has no chance if we don't get him to the hospital now, " Michi says with urgency cataloging his injuries. Georgie begins to say something before Michi accidentally cuts her off with a grunt and her shoulder flashing magenta and when she touches Daley again her hand flashes pink as well. It causes Daley to spasm, and start breathing regularly, and Michi immediately pulls her hand muttering, " What in the heck, "

 " Michi, I didn't know you had healing abilities, " Georgie says in surprise, expecting Michi to say something. Instead  the slightly older woman continued looking at her glowing hand in shock. 

 " That's new, I swear I couldn't heal people before now, " Michi mutters in awe before putting her hand on Daley with a new purpose in her. It only took a few minutes for the glow to heal him fully and Georgie smiles slightly, 

 " I have a feeling we're going to be using that ability a lot, " Georgie mutters before both her's and Nala's comms go off. 

 " Georgie, I'm running out of ammo, and kinda need assistance, " Drea says through gasps of breath. Georgie nods slightly worried for her partner and Michi seems worried for her sister. 

 " I'll be right there," Georgie  replies, looking toward Michi who was still kneeling down helping Daley. " Mich stay here with Daley, I'll help your sister I promise, " Georgie calmly told Michi who nodded. With that approval Georgie holds Nala's lead in one hand and her gun in the other, ready to track down her partner. She then turns to the spotted dog, " Nala find Drea, and preferably  takes me on the opposite side of them, so I have the element of surprise, " Georgie  commanded and the pup nods, taking off. Georgie  getting dragged along with the scent dog. " Nala slow down a bit, " Georgie calls

 " Where is Georgie going? She just killed a guy, where is she rushing off too" Lola asks in confusion. 

" Drea, must have called for backup. I mean I haven't  seen her since we got here and there has been a whole other gun fight." Evie says guessing and Tessa nods.

" Evie, is probably  right. I mean they are a team they're supposed to protect one another." Tessa explains looking  to where her friend had run off. When she turns to her sister again she catches the look in their eyes and shakes her head. "Guys, she told us to stay back. She has to do this on her own and she'll  be fine. She obviously  knows what she's doing and I'm sure the callings will protect her, " Tessa says confidently although  she was nervous  for her friend.

 Georgie made it to a clearing  where Nala led quietly. She saw Nala ears prick and could hear Drea  moving  quickly to dodge the gunfire. She takes a moment to think of a plan. What she didn't notice is that she wasn't  hidden very well in the bushes. The other man notices shooting at both of them. 

Georgie quickly goes to fire back, but sadly the man was much swifter than the first. After a few shots her gun stopped working all together, "Dang it out of bullets. " Georgie  mutters to herself. They were in big trouble now and neither had any more rounds and this man proved to be dangerous. 

" Georgie, five o clock!"  Drea calls out and Georgie rolls just in the nick of time, getting  an idea. If she could just get the gun. Georgie  just sighs, taking  a breath. This was the ultimate  test of trust right now  Drea was going  to think she lost her mind.

"Drea,10-1-1" Georgie says, hoping  she remembers  the  code numbers that were meant to distract  him. Drea just nods, not questioning Georgie.  She knew Georgie  had a plan; she wouldn't  ask her to do this  if she didn't.

 " Hey, don't mess with my friend." Drea says boldly as she looks at Georgie  nervously. Georgie  then looks at Tomo and Nala, both hiding deep in the bushes. "Squirrel!" Georgie  calls and both dogs take their cue.  The medium  size dog launches causing the man to fall to the ground. After a moment Tomo also  puts his paws on the man to stop him from moving, grabbing the gun helpfully. "Put your  hands up," Drea warns eerily, but the guy wasn't giving in; he threw Nala and Tomo off with a thud as he went to attack Drea without  thinking Georgie was at a loss for a moment she wasn't equipped for a fist fight. Thankfully she didn't have to because before Georgie could think of a plan Michi was sneaking up on the distracted man with a medical tool in hand. Drea lips quirk at her sister's presence before seeing the man starting to pull the trigger. 

A slash. 

 And the sudden silence as the man topples backward onto Michi, blood flowing out of him quickly. The woman didn't even flinch at the feeling of blood on her. Drea is the first to break the silence. " How'd you do that, " Drea asks and Michi sighs, sliding slightly towards Drea. 

 " Any surgeon knows that it only takes fifteen seconds for a carotid artery to bleed out, " The woman murmurs. She never expected to have to use her knowledge in saving people to take someone's life. 

 Suddenly all three of their new marks glow and a thundering voice says, " It is over! " All three sigh in relief before  noticing  all the scratches on one another, and slumping down on the grass beneath them. 

"Good work back there everyone. We make a pretty good team, " Drea says and Georgie  nods slightly, they truly did. Their slight joy was lowered through when Nala limped over, obviously hurt, and Tomo looked worse for wear. "Oh Nala  you hurt your paw!" Drea says worriedly, but Georgie smiles fondly at the pup.

"Good work back there Nal and Tom, we couldn't have done that without you, " Georgie murmurs as Michi gently takes Nala's paws in her hand and let them flash pink to heal her. Nala wags her tail slightly rolling over for a rub. 

" Thank you, " Nala's replies and Michi nods slightly, the slight movement making her world spin. Drea's loyal dog seems to notice and pushes herself against Michi to keep her steady. 

" Wait, where's Daley, " Georgie asks suddenly and Michi sighs, noticing the slight headache pounding against her temple. What was going on with her? She hadn't even got injured! 

" He's fine, he wanted privacy while he called his son so I decided to come help you, " Michi explains, slouching just a bit on her right side. She tried desperately to ward off the dizziness she was feeling. 

" Are you  two okay? You look like you're  going  to fall over!" Michi asks carefully standing up. "Don't think about lying, I can and will use Xray vision, " Michi threatens slightly and Georgie sighs closing her eyes

"I'm  fine, I think I  just overexerted myself. I've never had to sprint so much before, " Georgie  replies slowly before taking Michi's offered hand to help her up. 

 " I'm sore and the guy did manage to scratch my arm, " Drea replies and Michi immediately puts her hand on her sister's shoulder and lets it glow for a second. Before suddenly feeling a bit more light headed as she uses her ability. " Y…  you can heal people now, " Drea asks and Michi nods now helping her sister up.

 " What the heck are we going  to do about this car? I swear it gets worse treatment than we do. " Drea says with a light chuckle once again trying to lighten the mood. Georgie  sighs with a slight eye roll at Drea. She did have a point though this car has been through multiple things. A sharp pain makes Georgie wince as her neck glows teal and Drea's green. 

The glowing stops a few minutes later revealing  the car, the windows were replaced and it looked good as new. " Thank you, " Georgie  calls out to the force that did this. Before she sees Drea's head turn with a quick snap. Something had startled her, or maybe someone? All three women tense at the thought, who could possibly want them now? 

" Okay, that was totally  awesome, " Lola says, announcing the quints' presence and Georgie let her shoulder fall in relief. The rest of the sisters looked at Lola  and shook their heads.

"That was terrifying, are you three okay," Tessa asks looking mainly at Georgie who immediately nods. They were a little beaten up,  but nothing  much worse than usual. They have had worse car crashes than this. 

"We're  fine, we're all a little beaten up by glass and the bushes, not to mention we're all shaken, but that's nothing new, " Georgie responds kindly. A whole lot of weight coming off her shoulder now that the targeters were gone, 

The quints smile slightly at that, " Okay good, and since you're  alright I agree that was pretty  cool. How did you know  what to do?" Evie asks as Georgie  rolls her eyes. Hadn't she told them that she had this covered. She knew what she was doing by now! 

" We have experience, all of us have it. I have an amazing aim and can usually talk people out of doing things. Michi knows all things medical, the right place to shoot that will kill someone immediately. Drea is an amazing spy and has experience undercover and as a detective. She knew who the guys were and how to get the upper hand, " Georgie says looking at Drea who looks at her with surprise. 

 " You saw my notebook, " she murmurs and Georgie nods now smiling a bit. She wanted Drea to know her extra work did not go unnoticed. 

 " Wait when you paused earlier was it because you were giving him a chance, " Tessa questions and both Georgie and Michi look at her weirdly. 

 " No, I was asking Michi where to shoot to kill him as quickly and painlessly as I could. I know I'm a murderer and I may have crossed the line, but we do what we have to to survive, " Georgie says eyes hard hoping her friends would understand. 

" I know you Georgie, and you wouldn't kill unless it was absolutely necessary. I may not understand all that is going on, but you need to know we'll support you even on your darkest days. And I know you're afraid of us getting involved for some reason. So we won't, but just know you can talk to us about anything, " Tessa says and Georgie nods with a slight look of thanks on her face, and relief that her friends wouldn't get involved. 

"Thanks Tessa, you girls are truly the best friends I could have, and I know this is confusing for all of you. One day we can sit down over some coffee and I'll tell you everything that has happened, but right now it's too dangerous even with the targeters gone. Right now I just need you to trust me on this, " Georgie sounded disappointed, but she had also made this decision year's ago to keep them out of this. They could not die; the quints had too much to live for. " Anyways we should  really  get home now Eden is probably worried and we have to let her know we're okay and relieve Saanvi. 

 " I really need to sleep, I've been up for six hours longer than I was meant to be, and I actually need sleep. Now that the adrenaline is wearing off, " Michi murmurs and Drea immediately nods her agreement feeling the adrenaline fade as well. 

"Okay G, we'll call you later alright, " Evie told Georgie  who nods heading to the magically fixed car. 

 " Alright girls, stay safe, " Georgie replied, relieved that the targeters business was finally over. Now just to survive the death date.
