Skipping ahead two months because I've used all my idea before the ending, but wanted to add this part in. I hope you enjoy this chapter

" Hey Pumpkin, Mira, wake up, wake up, "  There was a bouncing on Pumpkin and Mira's shared bed that startled the two slumbering dogs awake, both groggily rising before seeing two figures in the darkness. Both dogs immediately yank themselves up growling menacingly. 

 " Hey calm down Whitey, it's just Shelly and I, " the voice scoffs, yet the pugs eyes held seriousness in them, not to mention worry for her friends. 

 " Seashell, what are you doing here! Your owner is going to kill us once she realizes you're associating with us, " Mira barks incredulously and the mix breeds huffs. 

 " Like I care what my owner thinks, it was us before her, and like fluff am I not going to tell my bff that there's a rumor going around, " Seashell replies nuzzling into Mira who sighs. 

 " What rumor is so important that you two are first off working together, and second off here at five in the fluffin morning. We seriously just got our owners to bed, " Pumpkin grumbles and Jade sighs. 

 " I'm sorry, but the passengers are in danger! The public is rebelling against the passengers, " Seashell starts and Pumpkin tilts her head in surprise before they hear a grumble across the room where Nala and Tomo were curled up for the night. 

 " Will you girls shut up, " the spotted one whines slightly, turning her head from the conversation and Pumpkin sighs before getting up and jumping onto Nala and Tomo's bed causing both to yelp in surprise. 

 " Sorry fellow pups, but you two might want to hear this, " Pumpkin murmurs quietly and Nala groans. 

 " Fine, what do your little friends have for us, " Nala asks skeptically with a quiet yawn. And Jade squints her eyes at the bigger dog. 

 " Places are not allowing passengers to shop or eat. They have also started evicting them from their homes. We see more, and more on the streets everyday, "  Jade explains and the four dogs look at one another with a feeling of hopelessness pitting in their stomachs. 

 " How about passenger supporters, " Mira gulped, looking at her friend nervously. This could be very bad. What would they do if they weren't able to get food for Eden, and themselves, and if the other passengers feel more threatened than they already are they could become the public's worst nightmare. 

 " They know, Georgie and Drea, I fear they won't let them in, " Seashell murmurs and Pumpkin can't help, but growl in frustration. The public really had it out for them didn't they. 

 " Oh great, we only have two months left of this freakin curse can't they just leave us be. We already have a death date to deal with, " Nala mutters nuzzling into Tomo.  " And knowing some of the passengers their gonna either attack or give up, " Nala states matter of factly. 

  Pumpkin and Mira nod before they nuzzle their respective friend, " Thanks for warning us you two, we appreciate it, " Pumpkin told them and both dogs nods before heading to the doggy door. 

 " No problem anytime for you two, " They both said heading out, and all four dogs collapsed in exhaustion on their bed.

 " Aunties, what are you waiting for, they need you," Eden exclaims, waking up the two women who had apparently fallen asleep while working the night before. 

 They both startle looking around slowly trying to piece together what was going on that had their niece so worked up. " Huh, Bean what are you talking about, " Georgie grumbled rubbing at her eyes slightly. Drea doing the same looking at her niece. " The passengers, they need guidance and you're the ones to give it! " Eden responds breezily and Georgie looks at her niece curiously. Meanwhile Drea groans again after looking at her clock. 

 " Eden it's five in the morning, no one's gonna want guidance this early in the morning, " Drea murmurs, still sitting idly on the couch. Eden just rolls her eyes, that was new she must be catching onto their mannerisms. 

 " There is trouble, the passengers are mad and worried. They need your help, " Eden exclaims, not making much sense in the early morning before they had their coffee. At all the racket Eden was making the four dogs who weren't with Georgie and Drea come in.

 Nala looked extremely pissed, " Can't we ever get a normal night's sleep, " she questions tiredly, and Drea just shook her head slightly at her dog. 

 " You know we can't Nal, apparently Eden had some kind of calling that the passengers are in some sort of trouble, " Drea tells her dog, by now far used to the fact they could communicate.  

 The four dogs collectively sigh, " We were going to talk to you about this later, but apparently it can't wait, " Pumpkin sighs and Georgie fixes the Maltipoo with a glare. 

 " Pumpkin I told you if you found something important, to… " Georgie starts

 " Wake you immediately, " Pumpkin replies with an annoyed huff, " I know the rules, better than you do at this point owner, but there has to be some exceptions," Pumpkin exclaims looking at the dark circles under Georgie's eyes. " You two haven't slept as well as you two were today for months. Like heck was I gonna wake you up over what we thought was a rumor, " Pumpkin replies with a slight growl and Georgie sighs. 

 " What rumor, " The  raven haired woman beside Georgie asks resignedly, looking at Nala who grimaces. The dog knew she was supposed to be the one who made the reports, but what she really wanted was to go back to sleep. 

 " Some of our dog friends came over about half an hour ago and warned us about the public rebelling against both the passengers and us.  They're getting evicted from their homes, people aren't letting them into shops or restaurants. Bottom line is that our very lives are in danger. The public outnumber us and without access to anything they need the passengers could easily die, " Nala told Georgie and Drea solemnly and both women curse under their breaths. 

 " What are we going to do about this, " Georgie asks Drea, once clueless on what to do. The woman in question shrugs. How could they have been so naive they both knew the public by now they should've known this was going to happen sooner or later. 

 " All we can do is have hope and make sure none of the passengers get rowdy. We have to find and talk to them. The last thing we need is fighting," Drea turns to Georgie, what do you say about some coffee and see if Michi could watch Eden for us, " Drea asks and Georgie sighs, but nods. 

 " Come on girls, let's do our thing, " Georgie says before yawning again. Gosh she couldn't wait for this curse to be over.

 Two knocks on the door startled Michi light slumber only having fallen asleep maybe an hour or two ago after working the night shift at the hospital. " Who is it, " Michi yawns, her dog barking softly at the two intruders who dared knock on her owner's door. 

 " It's your sister and Georgie, " the familiar voice calls out, slightly muffled by the metal door, and Michi sighs. What could be so important that they woke her up at six in the morning for. She gets up sliding her slippers on and goes to open the door. As they said Georgie and Drea were patiently standing just outside with their little niece in front of them. 

 " I would give some pleasantries, but since it's six in the morning and this is clearly not a social call. I'm just going to ask what you need, " Michi says tiredly and she earned a chuckle from Drea at her younger sister's frankness. 

 " Could you watch Eden for a few hours, " Georgie starts and Michi looks at her in confusion but before she can ask what for, Georgie starts again, " Eden had a calling, the passengers are in need of a meeting, but we can't bring her I know you probably just got home, and… " Georgie starts to ramble and Michi couldn't help a tired sigh before stepping in. 

 " Georgie breathe, I can watch Eden for a few hours, that's not a problem. We're all in this curse together, and I'm willing to do my part, " Michi replies easily and Drea gives her a smile of thanks.  " Now you two go, you have work to do, " Michi told them as she led Eden into her small apartment. " Just be safe out there, " we still need you here, " Michi whispers for Eden wouldn't hear them. 

 " Of course we will. Thanks again Michi, for everything you do for us and the passengers, " Georgie told her and Michi nodded. 

 " Of course, " she replies, it's not like she had much of a choice anyways. For whatever reason the calling had called her to help. After a few moments both women reluctantly leave and Michi closes the door to her home looking at Eden, "Alright kiddo what do you want to do, " Michi asks hoping it was nothing too involved.

 Georgie and Drea found the passengers right where they thought they would be right outside of what used to be Eureka, Eagan Tehrani leading them all. " Well this ought to be interesting, " Drea mutters to Georgie who nods while fingering her pocket knife that sat waiting to be used in her pocket. 

As they got closer moving through the crowd with ease they could hear what the man was saying, "They have plotted against us and now it's time that we plot against them," he called and the ninety-ish passengers nodded their agreement. At that moment Georgie knew this was bad. 

 " Excuse me everyone, but do you really want to prove their fears and distrusts, " Georgie says but she wasn't very loud. She wasn't very good at talking to a crowd, that was more Lily's thing. 

 " Excuse me everyone, " Drea yelled an air of authority rolling off of her in waves and Georgie sighs in relief. It was great to have someone completely opposite of her to be her partner.  Everyone turned towards them, and Drea nodded towards Georgie. " We have something we'd like to say, " she told them. 

 Georgie took a deep breath, " Do we really want to prove their distrust? The public is doing this because we're different, and they are afraid of unique people like us. We need to stay neutral, if we don't rebel then they might realize we're no threat, " Georgie told them. The passengers look at her skeptically. 

 Eagen snickers, " Come on guys, are we really going to listen to some non-passengers. They could be trying to trick us, " Eagen tries and the partners look at one another highly doubting these skeptical people would give them a chance. 

 " They're more reliable then you, Eagan, Georgie saved my life, " Captain Daley tells him and then another one step forward. 

 " Drea saved my life twice, I trust her judgment," another woman said and Drea remembered her from a case she and Michaela did a few years back. A pang of hurt spread through her. She missed her best friend. Soon about ten others put support in the two non-passengers and Drea continued. 

 " We can't start fighting, that'll give the police reason to lock us up, trust me as an ex detective I heard. I have a few friends I know will be able to help us. Just let us make a few calls and we will have a better plan I promise, " Drea says and as the others start muttering to one another Georgie and Drea turned away, " Call Olive and ask if we have permission to use her house as a safe house, " Drea instructed and Georgie eyes lit up at the idea. 

 " You have a plan, " she smiles and Drea nods, dialing up Michi. 

 " Michi would definitely be willing to help with grocery shopping when she had the time and I'm sure she has ideas of people who can help. Maybe we can even get Vance in on this, " Drea replies and Georgie nods, already calling up Olive, while Drea calls Michi.

 " Everyone listen up, we have a plan, " Drea calls out trying to get the attention of the mass so she and Georgie could speak. The calls had gone pretty well. Michi was planning on helping when she could even though she didn't have a lot of money, and she had even convinced Damien to help. 

 " We have a few safe houses set up, one here at Eureka and one at the Stone's old home, " Georgie continues, " A friend of ours owns a cafe nearby and is willing to help us. He will give each of you one meal a day and Michi is going to help with other food needs, " Georgie explains calmly, looking at Drea again for assistance. 

 " We don't need to fight or cause a ruckus. Just continue following your callings. They're our best bets of surviving this, " Drea told them and most of the passengers agreed and seemed thankful for their help, that is except for one. Drea could see Eagan from the corner of her eye scowling and then like a blink it happened.  Eagan held a knife in his hand and charged them. Both women managed to get away, but he still ended up slicing Georgie's leg pretty good. " G, are you okay, " Drea asks immediately, not caring she pushed Eagan down on the way to her partner. 

 Georgie slightly rolls her eyes at Drea's worry, " I've had way worse, " she reminded the dark brunette. In reply Drea winces at the thought and nods letting it be, but still assessing the injury. 

 " We should get you to Michi, it's definitely not as bad as it could've been, but you're still bleeding a good bit, why don't you head to the car with Nala," She asks and Georgie reluctantly nods allowing Drea's dog to help her up. When she was out of sight Drea turns back to Eagan, " If you ever mess with her again, I won't hesitate to kill you, all you've been to the passengers is a pain, " Drea growls and with that warning turns on her heels and leaves to take Georgie back to Michi's apartment.
