The curse was broken everything was fine or so Michaela thought. Drea and Georgie were acting strange though. Drea was trying to be her normal self but was more subdued and Georgie will rarely look in her direction lest speak a word with her. She needs to figure out why. Happens after The Next Chapter

MIchaela Stone loved her friends; they had always loved them. They were there for her and brave enough to keep helping her through the crazy time of the curse if 827, but once the curse was broken things were different.

Georgie and Drea were different, and had a different dynamic among them, and while Drea still talked to her and acted like nothing had changed 4 barely even talked to her. Going to Drea if she wanted to talk... It was like the slightly younger girl didn't trust her, and she didn't have a clue why. So she decided to go to her other best friend first and see if she knew what was going on.

It was one of their first work days together and Michaela was curious what Georgie would do. Good morning guys, how are you?" Michaela asks as Drea smiles and Georgie just kind of looks up from her computer not even acknowledging her presence except for a wave.

"Good morning M I'm glad to see that we are back to working together." Drea says as Georgie nods, continuing to look at her computer with a dog on each of her sides. Drea just looks between the two of them and sighs knowing exactly was going on with Georgie as they had been teammates forever now and she knew Georgie was pretty upset at Michaela.

"So what are you two doing?" Michaela asks as Drea smiles even wider as she pets Nala who is in her lap.

"Georgie ias looking up different missions that we could help with, and contacting a few people. Do you have anything Georgie? " Drea asks looking at Georgie who shook her head.

"Surprisingly everything has been quiet lately." Georgie told Drea not sparing another glance at Michaela. Drea just nods looking between the two again. She had no idea what to do lest locking them in the closet alone and making them work it out for themselves but with Georgie the unpredictable happens so that may not be a good idea.

"Drea, could we talk please." Michaela asks a few hours later when Georgie still wouldn't talk to her while she would talk to Drea like it was nothing. Drea just nods following Michaela to her bedroom.

"What's up Mic?" Drea asks quietly as Michaela sighs and looks at Drea who was tapping her foot with impatience. It wasn't often that she and Georgie were separated and neither liked it as they were still getting used to the fact they didn't have to worry about a killer or anyone wanting to hurt them.

"Why is Georgie mad at me? She has barely spoken a word after the pregnancy announcement." Michaela says as Drea sighs..

"She's not mad or angry, she is just really upset. You left us Mic. We needed you and ya left. You didn't leave a note, you didn't say goodbye. A dang calling had to tell us. Georgie took it pretty hard. She was raising a two year old by herself. Grace had just died and it was so hard. Not to mention we have the targeters. You left us when we needed you most. Georgie doesn't show emotion anymore at least not when anyone's around, but she does feel and although she absolutely loves having you back she doesn't want to get close to someone who may leave again.

It has been hard on all of us and Georgie doesn't trust easily you know even before this started she had her troubles with trust. She'll start talking to you more as she gets more comfortable again. Remember this has been hard on everyone." Drea says as Michaela eyes widen she hadn't realized how much just up and leaving had affected her best friend Drea didn't act like it but after hearing her speech she also knew that Drea was still hurt by the fact as well.

Michaela hugs Drea feeling her slightly younger friend stiffen, but soon relax and hug back. "I'm so sorry Drea I didn't mean to do that to either of you we weren't thinking at the time of how it would affect you and Georgie we should have." Michaela says as Drea sighs.

"I forgive you, what's done is done and we all did what we needed to do to break the curse. I know that and so does Georgie but it does not make it any easier. " Drea says as Michaela nods.

"I know I should probably try and talk to Georgie. " Michaela says as Drea nods before thinking about Georgie abilities which had not faded away yet, and may never.

"I would, but just a warning Georgie has the kpability to manipulate electricity so be careful. I don't want you getting electrocuted because you said the wrong thing." Drea warns as Michaela eyes t.c zzz xdrwiden, but she nods.

"Thanks for the warning D."

"Georgie, we need to talk alone." Michaela says causing Georgie to look up from her work surprise and confusion written on her face. Drea just glares at her as Georgie sighs and nods. following Michaela.

"Georgie, I know you are upset with me. You have every right to be.me and my family left you alone three years ago. We didn't say goodbye, leave a note or anything. A calling had to tell you that your whole life would change in a matter of a few minutes. It was unthoughtful of my whole family. We were only thinking about ourselves, not how it would affect you or Drea or Eden. I'm so sorry and I deserve to lose your trust." Michaela says quietly as Georgie shook her head quietly for the first time looking at 6th 2Michaela longer than just a small glance.

"It's fine, I don't... I don't blame you at all. We All did what we had to do. I admit I felt so betrayed and alone knowing you didn't trust me enough to even tell me where you were going. It was frustrating , but I know you have your reasons. During the curse we did what we had to do, and I have accepted that. But now that the curse is over let's make an agreement we always let each other know when we're going anywhere. Or at least leave a note." Georgie says as Michaela nods.

"That's a deal." Michaela says as Georgie nods in agreement. "May I hug you?" She asks quietly. Georgie stepped back for a ¹second thinking about it before slowly nodding she was not into hugs anymore as it made her feel trapped and very uncomfortable, but Michaela was one of her best friends.

Michaela hugged Georgie so happy that Georgie wasn't very mad at her and was willing to start trusting her again.

"Um girls sorry to bother your talk, but we have our first mission." Drea says quietly as Georgie and Michaela nods. Georgie using the telekinesis she had to bring her gun over. "Come on you two let's get to work. Michaela says taking head as Georgie and Drea nods following Michaela back to the office. To get the rest of their gear.
