This will be part of a few par t series along with Walls break, bug I'll be writing those after writing Drea's Fanfiction under the the title Who I am Inside so check that out too. The next part of this mini story will be out sooner or later enjoy 💖
Georgie woke up feeling absolutely awful, she could tell she had caught something and she felt so bad. "Pull yourself together G." She told herself, coughing into her arm. This was going to be a long few days Georgie could already tell, but there was too much to do and worry about. This small cold wouldn't stop her although she didn't want to get up.
She had a child to take care of, dogs to feed and she had to find a way to break this curse before it killed quite a few people she loved. Drea comes in the moment after Georgie had pulled herself together and looks her up and down as Georgie was always out and about before her. "Hey G are ya okay usually you're up and about before I am?"
"Yeah I'm fine just didn't get much sleep last night, a believable excuse since that happened a lot Drea, looks like she doesn't believe her for a second, but then nods in understanding.
"We can take it easy today if you want Eden's going out with grandpa so we have the house to ourselves for the day." Drea says as Georgie gives a slight sigh of relief at least she wouldn't have to deal with Eden right now or worry about getting her sick.
Nah I'm good we have too much to do." Georgie says as Drea let's out an internal groan. Why was Georgie always so stubborn? She knew this was going to be a long day especially since she knew something was up with Georgie.
"Alright then let's get to work." Drea says still keeping an eye on Georgie to see if she could find out what was up with her partner.
………
Drea acted as if she was paying attention to the book in her head making sure to flip a page every few minutes and glances at Georgie who she could tell had caught something. Georgie was a very warm blooded person and while she always liked herself cool, Drea herself would have to bundle up sometimes especially in the winter, but today she had pulled on a blanket. She could also tell that Georgie was paying less attention than usual. She also sniffled and blew her nose as well.
The easy explanation: Georgie was definitely sick, and if Drea let her continue going on as it has then Georgie's state could get worse especially once Eden gets back, but she knew Georgie would be too stubborn to actually admit it so Drea had to come up with a plan to get her to rest.
She didn't know what to do whenever her parents got sick; they were easy to take care of and weren't half as stubborn as Georgie was. So she was left to figure this one out. "Georgie, I didn't get any sleep last night. Do you mind if I go to sleep for a bit?" Drea asks randomly with a yawn that she hoped sounded real. It was a half truth since she really didn't get any much sleep the night before she had gotten lead and spent the whole night researching it and since Georgie was actually asleep for once Drea decided to not wake her over it.
"Go ahead we can work a little later if you want to." Georgie says with some relief that she could rest as well. Drea just goes to her room, turning on her music in her wireless headphones. It was a win, win she could rest a bit since she was so tired due to having nightmares the last few night and completely giving up the night before so a little rest could do her some good.
……..
After some time Drea quietly gets up, realizing Georgie had fallen asleep. Drs then allowed herself to see if there was some way she could help Georgie without waking her. Drea first takes her temperature as quietly and gently as she could. After seeing she had a fever Drea had dampened two cloths putting one behind Georgie's neck and one on her forehead.
Drea then thought it had been a while since she took care of anybody, her younger sister was the last one she truly remembered and that was when she had gotten food poisoning about eight or nine years ago. She grimaced at the thought that was not fun. She also remembers taking care of her younger sister when she had the flu too.
Her sister had always needed a humidifier to help with a stuffy nose, and sore throat. Drea knew she had one around as well since she always needed one during the winter. Drea gets it, setting it up as quietly as she could. She then sighs she couldn't believe she was actually going to use it, but her mother's homemade soup would probably help as well and it was one thing that Drea wouldn't burn.
Lastly, after getting the soup started Drea grabbed the stuffed horse that sat on her bedside table. A stuffed animal to keep the monsters, in this case nightmares away. Drea then leaves Georgie alone, honestly surprised she hadn't awoken her friend.
………
Georgie woke up to a savory smell out in the kitchen, and realized she feels a bit better now and is hungry. She looks around noticing the now freezing washcloths, tissues, a humidifier and a stuffed horse that was half soaked recognizing it as something from Drea's memory box. Drea had tricked her.
She got up going to the kitchen where a chicken, vegetable and noodle soup sat on the middle of the stove with a note beside it. "You eat what you want, because I hate this stuff." The note says in Drea's writing Georgie just chuckles grabbing a bowl from the cabinet scooping some in, surprisingly for Drea's cooking skills this was really good soup. She didn't understand why Drea herself didn't like it. Where was Drea anyways. Georgie went to Drea's room where she saw the girl on the bed petting Nala seemingly in some sad daze.
"Ya tricked me." Georgie deadpans trying to get Drea's Attention while getting her out of the daze, causing Drea to startle and look at Georgie.
"Well I knew it would be the only way you would actually rest." Drea says quietly looking down although Georgie still felt bad she could still sense something was wrong with Drea.
"What's up with you Drea…. You don't seem like your usual self Georgie questions as Drea just forces a smile. "I'm fine, I'll explain later, but right now you should be resting." Drea says as Georg nods.
"Fine, but were coming back to this topic." Georgie says as Drea exhales sharply as she knew Georgie wouldn't let this go.
"Deal now rest." Drea says, pushing Georgie down onto her red bed covers. Georgie than realized she had the greatest friend or sister. Who knew exact what she was doing. Little did she know Drea was breaking piece by piece
