Regrets

After a car accident  that was caused by none other than the targeter both Drea and Georgie  are injured Georgie  only mildly Drea  a little more so, and Georgie  is left asking  herself if Drea should even be involved. Michaela's friend Evie in ghost form reassures.

Takes place after Because  You're  you  and before  Trick or Treating  Fun.

Georgie  sighs lying in her bed as she reads through another page of another book Eden  was asleep and so was Drea because  she had told Drea to get some rest. She on the other hand was in full work mode, and so was her Yorkie, Brook who had lain next to her refusing  to rest as long as Georgie  wasn't  resting.

"This is useless." Georgie  says laying the book down on the bed. Brook just whimpers pitifully  nuzzling  Georgie. They were trying  everything  in their power, and although  Georgie  tried not to lose hope it was always in their mind that time was running  out. Not to mention  the targeter had caused her to get stitches again and her  face was a mess with stitches on her forehead, cheek, and chin.

Their car had pretty  much blown up that day, and they were lucky to even be alive after it. The calling  had thankfully  fixed the car up, but the shattered glass and metal had did their worst on Georgie  and Drea.  Drea had it worse than Georgie did  and Brook could  tell that the actual reason they were not asleep right now is because  Georgie  blamed herself for the accident.

"Georgie, let's take a break, we need it." Brook whimpers gently, just wanting  her owner to rest a bit. Georgie finally seemed to break down  which was a rare, but definitely  needed thing especially  after today.

"I'm  sorry  Brook,  I kept you  up for no reason. I just can't  go to sleep after what happened today. Drea nearly  died and since it's  too dangerous  to go to an actual  doctor, it was on me if she would live. I should have never let her get this close to this.  Now she is in danger too, and it's all because  of  me." Georgie  says quietly  finally  allowing  herself to cry in the solace of her room. The only place she allowed herself to do so.

"It wasn't  your  fault, just like it wasn't  Michaela's."  A voice says startling Georgie out of her own mind. She didn't  know this voice, not in the slightest. Did someone  get in her house without  her noticing? How would that even be possible. She just quickly summoned  her gun pointing  it at where the voice came from. Brook just growls. She didn't  know at what since she didn't  see anybody  but Georgie  was scared and it was the yorkie's job to protect  her. "Shooting  isn't  going  to  work on someone  that is already  dead. I thought Grace already explained that to you." The woman says causing  Georgie  to look up quickly knowing aura around  the young adult.

"Who the heck are you?" Georgie  asks as she still had no idea who this was, ghost or non ghost. The young adult just  smiled sadly looking  at Georgie  who seemed terrified.

"Oh right we sadly  hadn't  met, I'm  Evie,  I was Michael's  best friend." Evie says as Georgie  finally nods in realization.

"You're the one that died in the car crash. Michaela told me all about  you. But nothing about you lately we've all been busy" Georgie  says as Michaela's  friend nods.

"That's  because  she finally found her new Three Amigas." The ghostly  figure  says a small smile on her face. Georgie  just frowns petting  Brook who had calmed down greatly and was settled on Georgie's lap

"Yeah, although I don't  know how long that  will be with this target on my back and now their after Drea too, and that is my fault." Georgie  says as the woman shook her head

"Do not blame yourself. She is a loyal friend, and she just wants to help. Don't  shut her out. You'll need each other, Drea wants to help, and you'll be fine." Michaela's friend told Georgie  who sighs, she knew that, and she knew she couldn't  stop Drea even if she wanted to, Drea was loyal to a fault, and that what scared Georgie  the most.

"Trust me I know,  but I can't  lose her I've  already  lost way too many friends, Drea is like a sister and I just can't  lose anyone else. I'm  already raising  a kid of another person who was like a sister like me, and I don't  even know if  my other friends are going  to die." Georgie  says as the ghost nods in understanding

"I know the feeling not because  I felt it myself, but because I saw it from Michaela. Don't  be like she used to be before  you changed her. Trust yourself, your abilities,  and don't  shut Drea  out like Michaela shut her family out it is not the answer have some faith and hope, and most of all you two need to work as a team. Nothing  can be that bad when you have each other's  back." Ghost Evie says as Georgie  nods her head.

"You're  right,. I guess..." Georgie  says as the ghost disappears. Georgie  just sighs in relief looking  at Brook who cocks her head in confusion  not knowing  what was going  on.

"Alright Brook, I think I'm  going  crazy! Or maybe I just hit my head against the dashboard  too hard, but I  think I'm  going  insane." Georgie  told Brook who still just looks at Georgie.  She didn't  think  her owner was insane, but she sounded out of it.

"Uh… maybe you  should rest… I don't  think your crazy but that sounds pretty  out there even for a calling." Brook says as Mira who had listened the whole time huffed.

"Brook, sadly no amount  of sleep is going  to  help her. Every 828er thinks there insane it took Georgie  long enough. " Mira says she hated that Georgie  thought  she was going crazy, but Mira knew she and the rest of the pups were beginning  to question  their sanity.

"I hate to admit this Mir, but you're  right I just hate this. Georgie  and Drea have been put through  so much yet it just keeps getting  worse and now Georgie  is questioning  herself and her sanity again." Brook says as Mira sighs and nods.

"I do too, but we'll  get through it together as a team. Just like always." Mira says confidently which was unlike her Brook  just nods hoping  she was right.

"I sure hope your right." Brook murmured  before noticing  Georgie  dialing  a number. Georgie  needed someone  to talk too, and she had no idea how she was going to vent this. Without  giving her current circumstances, she just needed to talk to her friends. It would help her calm down… maybe...
