It's  Drea birthday and Georgie  has a surprise that involves a black labrador retriever.

This is four days early, but since I'm  writing  and Independence Day one shot and will now be working  on that I wanted to get this done. So happy birthday Ellen Tamaki who is Drea's amazing actress

Birthdays were  not a big thing  to Drea. She had celebrated  them due to her  mother being rich, but she never liked them. Drea was never a social butterfly, and birthdays overwhelmed  her. Not only  that, but she was also the black sheep of the family. So while their siblings usually  got exactly  what they wanted while she didn't. It was never horse or dog themed, it was always prissy and pink. Which Drea hated her mom did it for looks not because  she actually  cared. When she did it was only because  Aia shared her birthday.

Drea couldn't  celebrate  it after the youngest died. So when Georgie  and Michaela start looking  into it she hoped desperately  they wouldn't  find out her birthdate, and she was hoping  her siblings  wouldn't  tell either. They knew how much she disliked birthday parties and her birthday in general at this point.

On the day of her birthday Drea was happy that Georgie  and Michaela were both out doing  things which left her in the company  of her two pups which she wasn't  complaining  about.

She wanted to be alone anyway,s. She just wanted her birthday to pass quietly and as a normal day would go. She sighs going  outside to read on the porch she might as well figure out what else these gems could do.

Meanwhile  Georgie  went to check up on her horse. She was surprised to see Michi there as well mounting Thunderbolt "Oh hey Georgie. Did you come to check on Nova?" Michi asks and Georgie  nods.

"Yeah, I also have a question  for you or Daimen, and I hope you don't  mind answering  it since Drea won't." Georgie  says and Michi raises an eyebrow in confusion  at this point she thought Georgie  knew more about  Drea then she did.

"Uh yeah sure, what's your question?" Michi asks, holding  the horse's reins tightly in one hand as she looks up to the sky.

"When is Drea's  birthday, she did something  so nice for me and she's  done so much for us all. We would  like to celebrate her birthday, but whenever  we mention  it she makes up an excuse and leaves." Georgie  says and Michi sighs looking  at Bolt  and then back to Georgie. 

"Um, she isn't  too fond of birthday celebrations. She told us to basically forget her birthday, and we complied." Michi starts quietly and Georgie  looks at her in confusion.

"Why?" Georgie  question and Michi sighs.

"Mom never made her birthday that special. We had parties and all the other kids were jealous  of her, but unlike what we got. Drea didn't  get the party she wanted. Plus the parties were always boisterous. The only reason she used to actually  come out of her room is because  of Aia…" Michi starts explaining  to Georgie  before  stopping  abruptly  at the thought of her younger sister.

Georgie  could automatically  feel the hurt not just for Aia,  but for Drea as well. "She and Aia shared a birthday; it was a decade apart, but it was still theirs…  Once Aia died and Drea was  moved out she stopped celebrating completely. 

She doesn't  understand  what a real party is like because  she never had a good experience with them, and you know she has self worth issues due to mom and Jun, and it hurts her to remember  Aia so we just left her be… Today marks Drea's  29th birthday and Aia's 19th." Michi mutters and Georgie  sighs she hated that Drea felt this way and she now understood why Drea avoided  mentioning her birthday at all costs.

"Then I'll  do something  smaller and won't mention her birthday to her at all, but what can I give her that won't  make her suspicious or upset?" Georgie  asks and Michi shrugs.

"Don't  ask me, you probably  know my sister better than I do at this point." Michi admits and Georgie  nods before hearing  a bark from behind a hay barrel and it sounded very similar to Georgie.

"Tomo? What are you doing  here boy?" Georgie  questions  the black dog who wags the stump of the tail he had left. 

"It's  my best friend's  birthday.  I wanted to do do something  special  for her so I followed you." Tomo barks his reply  and Georgie's  eyes immediately  widen. This dog was stealthy; she hadn't  even heard or seen him following. 

"You're pretty stealthy aren't  you, Tomo?" Georgie questions  the dog who nods slowly. And Georgie  starts to get an idea, but she had to know a little more first.

"I've learned from the best. Drea taught me everything  I know including  how to pluck guitar strings." Tomo says a longing in his voice when he talked about  his partner.

Michi just smiles, "Tomo huh, I bet my older sister named you since the name is Japanese." Michi says coming over to the black retriever  and letting  him  sniff her hand.

"Oh right, Tomo this is Michi, Drea's younger sister, and Michi this is Tomo Drea's old undercover buddies." Georgie  says and Michi nods 

"Kinda figured that Tomo's name means pal in our language." Michi says with a huff petting  the dog and Georgie  smiles.

"Tomo, how would you like to live with Drea and I  and be trained as a spy dog?" Georgie  asks and Tomo wags his tail. 

"Wait, really  you would let me stay with you…" Tomo asks and Georgie  nods. She saw the way Drea and Tomo worked together. They went through  heck together just like she and Drea did.

"Yeah, Drea would love having  you. She's  just been holding  out because  she thinks six dogs is too many for one household, but you really make her happy, and you would be a great asset on spy missions." Georgie  says and Michi smiles.

"I see what you're thinking  and it's a great idea.Drea would love being able to keep him." Michi says and Georgie  nods in agreement. 

"Yeah, but we need to go to the pet store now and buy some new things. Do you wanna help?" Georgie  questions and Michi nods.

"Of course, let's do it!" Michi says excitedly  before  putting Bolt back in the stall.

It took a few hours and a few of their other friends dropped in, but they were finally  done at the pet store and had gotten everything  Tomo  would need.

Georgie  was so happy. She knew Drea would be so happy, and comfortable with this. At least Georgie  hoped she wouldn't  get mad. She could also see Tomo wriggling with joy, the four year old dog acting  like a puppy  at the thought  of working  with his best  friend all day every day.

When they got to the house Georgie  opened the door carrying the three bags of dog stuff to Drea's room. And instantly  sets up some of the stuff. She puts Tomo's midnight blue bed by the two other dog's beds, puts his lightning bolt leash on the hook like the others, and a food bowl down in the dining  room. Before looking  for Drea who was outside. 

"Alright Tomo go time." Georgie  tells the dog adjusting  the dog's bow tie. Tomo just nods as Georgie  goes outside.

"Hey D, I'm  back and I got a little surprise for you." Georgie  says looking  at Drea who was focused on something and must not have been listening  because she jumps the moment  Georgie  touches her.

"Oh Georgie, your back… I thought you would be gone longer." Drea tells her friend looking  back at the book Georgie  could not understand.

"Guess who found me while I was out?" Georgie  asks and Drea's brow furrow. If it wasn't  for the hidden excitement in Georgie's voice she would be worried.

"Who found you?" Drea questions  and Georgie  immediately  whistles, causing  Drea to look even more confused, that is until she sees the black retriever  that helped her stay sane on her undercover  case so many years before.

"Tomo, what are you still doing  around  here bud, I  thought you went home." Drea asks. The dog didn't  answer, but just came up to her, putting  his forehead on Drea's. Making the PI smile.

When they parted Drea noticed a difference. Tomo had a collar not only that, but a tag as well. "Did you find an owner? Congratulations boy" Drea says with a smile Tomo deserved a nice home. "Who's  the lucky owner?" Drea asks, flipping the tag only to reveal  her name and number in the tag.

Tomo just wags his tail happily  at Drea's shocked face. "Surprise bestie, I'm now your new spy dog and companion!" Tomo yips in excitement and Drea looks at Georgie. 

"I know how much you love him. Plus I know by now a team should never ever be separated. He is your's Drea I  even bought most of the stuff he would need." Georgie  tells Drea who smiles.

"Thank you  so much,  Georgie." Drea says although  Drea sounded sad  Georgie  could feel just his happy Drea was to have Tomo back. "Welcome home Tomo. I promise I'll  never leave you again." Drea says and Tomo nods.

"I'm  counting  on that Dahlia!" Tomo barks playfully  and although  Drea couldn't  completely  understand him she gets the gist of it and rolls her eyes.

"Georgie  I really  can't  thank you  enough. You made my whole year." Drea says and Georgie smiles and hugs Drea.

"Aw well I hope I at least made your birthday better." Georgie  says and Drea looks over to Georgie  in shock. One of her siblings  was going  to get it. 

"How did you find that out?" Drea asks quietly and Georgie  gives a sad smile to her friend petting the black retriever  that Drea now owned. 

"Michi told me after much persuading she also told me not to go too far and just let you be since you  don't  like parties very much. So that's  what I did plus Tomo really wanted to be your pet" Georgie rambles and Drea Drea couldn't help, but roll her eyes fondly at her younger friend.

"It's fine  and this is probably the best birthday  present  I've ever gotten. Thank you again." Drea says before  hearing something coming  from inside the house. She looks to Georgie  and they both go inside to see what was making  the noise. 

Tomo quickly follows behind and so did Nala. To both of their surprise  on the table sat a chocolate  iced cake and a small wrapped gift. Drea just chuckles. "I think Michaela  finally broke and looked in my files." Drea says and Georgie  chuckles as well.

"Yep apparently… let's just hope Zeke baked that cake and not Michaela." Georgie  says slowly and Drea flowers at the thought  of Michaela  trying to bake.

"Yeah, let's hope not, otherwise we're gonna get food poisoning. That or it'll  taste horrible, maybe even both" Drea says with a shudder as she grabs a fork, and takes a little bite of the cake. "Zeke definitely  made this." Drea says and Georgie smiles.

"Thank gosh how about  we plate this up and then we can pick a movie of your choice to watch" Georgie says and Drea nods.

"Sounds good to me. Thanks Georgie  this has been the best birthday I have had in a while. You gave me exactly  what I wanted space and something  quiet." Drea says and Georgie nods.

"Anything  for you D, we're  a family and in this family we celebrate birthdays the right way now come on." Georgie  says and Drea nods following  Georgie  to the living room to watch a movie.
