Family is always there when you need them right? When Jess' mother ends up being at the same party she is undercover for. Things end up going wry very quickly.Now it’s up to her team and her sisters to find her before it is too late.

“All eyes are on you Jess, be careful in there.” Her boss spoke even though Jess had easily done such undercover cases before with no trouble at all. Jessica just nods walking into the party, her new pup behind her as they walk.

“Don’t worry boss, this is not our first rodeo and won't be my last.” Knight reassured confidently her aloof manner seemingly coming through as she scanned the dance floor.

She could see Nick from where she was ready to back her up if things went awry .. She really hoped they wouldn’t though. She really didn’t feel like playing negotiator today and trying to fight in this dress would be nearly be impossible

“Jess, I've got eyes on our suspect at three o clock.” Her pit bull puppy barked and Jess slowly turned around to see what her pup was seeing.

“Good eyes, Hol,” Knight praises keeping her eyes on the suspect as she goes around to the bar. That's when an older woman comes up to her. 

"You have a beautiful pup," She said and Knight could feel herself become tense as she kept her eyes on the target.

"That's Holly, you can pet her if you'd like. She is very friendly.” Knight spoke glancing at Nick through the crowd as a tense Holly got petted.

“That is when she noticed something out of the corner of her eye and internally groaned as she turned her head away hoping her mother wouldn’t notice her after three decades of being apart.

But then something went totally awry. She saw more people shirking closer, seemingly trying to surround her. “Um guys we have a problem people are surrounding me and Nick seems to be having the same problem!” Jess says with quiet alarm as she glances around her again.

“Get out of there guys, I repeat abort,” She heard Parker say through the comms and nods motioning for Holly to follow her through the crowds. She just about made it to the back entrance before her mother stepped in front of her. 

“Where do you think you're going Jessica?" she says in the same old voice she used to use when Knight was six. Jessica just forces her feelings in the box in her mind before standing tall in front of her mother.

“Home,” she replied bluntly, starting to push her mother away from the entrance before feeling a gun to her head. Jess just rolls her eyes having been in worse hostage situations throughout her REACT days. She quickly turned and kicked her enemy in the stomach, grabbed his gun and shot him with no remorse. But then about eight or so more came into view and started to attack her. She fought all she could but she and Holly were outnumbered big time.

In her perithial she could see Nick fighting as well. If only they could somehow meet each other in the middle then at least it would be three against sixteen with a little better odds. But that idea quickly went south when she saw Nick crumple to the ground.

Knight slowly began to tire where was her team at? As she shot another gun in a guy's head she felt a blow to her head and immediately everything was blurry. She didn’t stop, no she couldn’t she had a family to go back home to.

she could see Holly vaguely as she was kicked across the floor. That gave her an extra bit of strength. But before anything else could be done she felt a cloth be placed around her mouth and soon everything was pitch black…

“NCIS!” Parker calls out as he comes into the room noticing a ton of  bodies on the floor Knight seemed to have left to bleed out. McGee and their dogs passed by looking around and a question arose. Where was Knight, not only that, where was Nick. They lost comms shortly after the fighting started and then they were trapped in the car by a bunch of traffic. This definitely did not go  as planned.

After a moment of looking around Parker’s loyal schnauzer barks from where Nick's unconscious body was lying. Mcgee instantly went over to his friend as Parker and Peter investigated some more. Finding Knights Watch and Holly’s bandana. Parker swore under his breath this was not good, not good at all.

"Nick, Nick are you okay?" Parker asked ,worriedly they had cases go awry, but never this badly now Jess and Holly were taken and Nick was kind of out of it.

"I'm good, good, just have a headache, what happened?" Nick asked quietly and Parker sighs. 

"They got the hit on us. They somehow knew we were there. You and Knight fought most of them off, but there were too many even for our two greatest fighters." Parker explains petting his dog gently

"Where's Knight?"Nick asked and there was a dead silence. That made his stomach drop, silence was not a good thing. Not in cases like this.Where was his partner and his sister like figure at. What happened to her. He couldn’t lose another partner so soon. Not only that, but Jimmy and Kasie were going to kill him when they returned.

“She was taken, we don’t know where though. They kicked the camera off of Knight when they fought. and she was gone by the time we came in. The only thing that was left was Holly’s collar and Knight’s watch.” McGee spoke and Nick cursed in Spanish.

“What are we going to do now? Jimmy and Kasie are going to be so mad at us.” Nick says and Parker nods sadly as he was not quite sure what to do next, but he had an idea of who would.

Are you serious? Are we really going to call her sister? She will probably kill us because we lost her.” Nick says in disbelief as he had worked three different cases with Knight’s  sister and the brunette that looks scarily like Jess did not play when it came to family

“Do you have any better ideas? Mikami knows her sister better than anyone.. Besides, she knows a lot about this kind of stuff.” Parker spoke easily, but he did admit Mikami intimidated him as much as her older sister did if not more.

As they walked into the bullpenParker saw Kasie and Jimmy probably waiting for Jess since the three were talking about a lunch date that Kasie wanted to third wheel on for some reason. They both perked up when the elevator opened, but they frowned a bit at the expression of their team and no Knight. “What happened?” They spoke in unison, Jimmy looking worriedly at his team and Parker.

“Neither of you are going to like this.” Parker says slowly watching faces morph with even more worry for their best friend. ‘Knight and Holly were taken,'' He spoke as Jimmy grimaces at the fact that his fiance and the pup that they treated as their very own child were taken from him.

"What can we do?" Kasie asks and Jimmy nods, wanting to be of all the help he could be. That was his family out there alone and probably being tortured he would have time to be upset later right now his main objective was to get Knight home safe and sound

"Jimmy I want  to call Drea. We're going to need some extra help in this case and she is our best bet. Besides, we need to let her know what's going on anyways." Parker says and Jimmy  nods grabbing his phone not looking forward to this conversation

 “It’s so nice to have the day off with you Michi.” Drea says enjoying the peace of the river they were having their picnic.

“I know to bad Knight’s team had an emergency case and she couldn't join us
We barely see her now that she's engaged. It always seems like her work is in the way." Michi told Drea who nodded before her phone started ringing.

She saw it was Jessica's fiance and smiles as she answers. "Hey what's up Jim Bob?" Drra asks, hoping to get the aggravated huff she always did, but this time Jimmy barely seemed to notice as he took a deep breath.

"This isn't a social call Dre the team thought you would take this best from me." Jimmy started and Drea's brows immediately furrowed her eyebrows at what could possibly be wrong. Earlier this morning Jessica was abducted while we were doing a usual undercover mission. Apparently the terrorist group had a mole and they ganged up on her and Nick. Nick wasn't taken, but she and Holly were. We could really use you and your team's help on this one because we have no idea where they took her." Jimmy says nearly breathlessly and Drea could feel her heart hammering against her chest.

They had just gotten Jessica back. Drea wasn't about to lose her eldest sister again. "My team isn't with me today, but I'll definitely be there. My family just got Jess back, we can't lose her." Drea told him already shifting into a dragon.

"I'm coming too." Michi spoke, giving Drea a look that told her there was no point arguing about this with her. Drea looks like she wants to argue, but decides against it. Her sister helped with the curse. She was not afraid of danger and she knew her sister wanted to help.

"Okay we'll be there in an hour at the latest. Don't worry Jim, we'll find her and if not she'll 
find us. She can fend for herself." Drea reassures knowing Knight would fight for her life before being silenced. And with a flap of her wings she was off.

"Holl… Holly are you okay?" Knight questions after getting her bearings back as she scanned the dark place they were at. "Night vision" she spoke quietly to herself and was able to see everything clearly. Her pup was across the room, her paws all tied up.

"I'm alright how about you," Holly replies, trying to get up so she could hop over to Knight, and eventually manages to do so as she collapses at her side.

"I feel like my head got kicked in, but I've had worse." Knight says continuing to look around trying to see anything recognizable. "Where are we?" She asks looking at her pup who tries to shrug.

"I have no clue. Last thing I remember is people surrounding you on all sides and you fighting your hardest to get out of it before they put that bag over your head." Holly explains and Jessica nods that's the last thing she remembered too.

That's when Knight hears a noise coming from the doorway and a bright light shone causing her eyes to shut, "Kon'nichiwa musume," a voice says and Knight tenses knowing the voice.

"I will never be your daughter." Knight spat out turning to her mother. "I know you hate me, but why do this, who are you working for?" Knight asks for venom leaking from her voice as she pulls at what binds her.

"Now Jess, there is no way to talk to your mother. And I see you went against the old rules and got yourself a pit bull those dogs are dangerous Jess her mother said with a fake sweetness and Jessica rolls her eyes 

"I'm in my mid thirties, that is not your choice. And she has a name : Holly." Knight said 1 usually she would be trying to talk her out of doing this, but Jess has too much anger at the woman in front of her.

Her mom finally must have had enough of her talking back though because a fist collided with her cheek, but the woman didn't even flinch. In fact she growls a little and so does her pup still keeping up the non talming act..

"You're lucky my boss isn't here to test you yet. He will do way worse. The mother threatens and Jessica sighed.

"We'll see about that. My team will find me." Jessica says confidently. She had complete faith in her family. They would search everywhere if they had to. They would find her. 

They had to.
