"What do you mean I  was gone?" Georgie  asks nervously.  She had a very bad feeling  about this. A very, very bad feeling  that she couldn't shake. Georgie  knew herself well and unless in whatever  dimension  captain  Daley's was in she was totally different  than he was referring  to her being gone which meant dead…

"You were dead, murdered  by somebody.  They didn't  know who, so they called the guy noire. Which means--" Captain  Daley started as Georgie  quickly  thought back  to french class.

"Which means black in french. I know that." Georgie  says trying to suppress the feelings going through  her  mind. She has to remind herself that it wasn't  real yet. She would have to be more  careful  now though.

She just looked at Olive who looked at her worriedly. She couldn't  lose another person she loved. First Tarik, and then her mom she couldn't  lose Georgie  especially  if her father and aunt were to die. Eden and Olive needed Georgie. Drea also just looked at Georgie  worriedly. Georgie  shakes it off. 

"That's  never, ever going  to happen. Cal talked about  something  like this earlier. They must have seen a future we could have if we aren't  careful." Georgie says as Olive looks down sadly Georgie instantly  felt her emotions  and once again reaffirmed what she said, "It's never going  to happen. I won't let it. The 828ers need me. I'm  no good  dead." Georgie  says as Drea and Olive just nod. 

"Come on guys, let's  go." Georgie  says as Olive nods, and follows Drea leads the back with the pups at her heels.

"Georgie, this is very serious  and dangerous  for you. You've  had enough  trouble with the Xer's. Your  pups are great at hunting  down  and  protecting  you, but I think you  can use a bit more protection." Drea says as she remembers  all the times  Michaela almost  got killed because of  Jace.  Now they had another killer on their hands, and she was scared  that Georgie  wouldn't  be prepared  for it.

Really  Drea, I'll be fine. I might not be in a different  world, but apparently  whatever force we have here wants me alive. Than it will keep me alive." Georgie  says with a gulp she truly believed that was true, but she still couldn't  help being terrified. 

"Miss Georgie, aren't you scared?" Olive asks as Georgie  nods  again she was terrified, but she couldn't  just stay in her house for the rest of her life. She still had lots of research  to do, and 828ers to help. That was her job now. She just had  to shine through the overwhelming  darkness  now how hard could  it  be?

"Scared, Olive I'm  terrified,  but I  can't  just stop doing  what I'm  doing.  I'm  so close to finding the truth now! I'm just going to  have to be a lot more cautious, and persevere  like I  always do." Georgie  says with a gulp. She wasn't  trying to  scare or worry Olive,  but it was still sinking  in that if she wasn't  careful  she'd  have the same fate as Grace did.

Drea stopped the car to a place that looked like a dog training  school. "Georgie  I  know you're  against  this idea, but you need something  to protect  you, and even more so be a loyal companion  right now. Also I have the perfect pup in mind. " Drea  says as Georgie  nods. Georgie  loved dogs but for dogs together was a  lot especially  on w hff at little  income  she gets nowadays. But Drea was persistent,  and Georgie  could use another friend she could  always trust.

Alright fine,  but not one that will grow too big I'm a small dog person  Georgie  says as Drea nods leading Georgie  inside Olive staying  in the car.  Drea then led Georgie  to a cage where a beautiful  white and bronze dog sat looking  attentively  on  Georgie. 

This puppy  hasn't  been named yet, but she's  a fierce and loyal pup. You should  take her. She'll  keep you safer. Plus she's like hour other dogs, fluffy, but fierce." Drea says as Georgie  smiles and chuckles at the female puppy and nods. If she wasn't  such a sucker for puppies  she would  disagree, but she sure loved puppies. Alright fine, I'll  take um… Nala with me." Georgie  says as Drea nods her head happily. 

"Come on, I'll  get you two home. I'm sure you  still have tons of research to do." Drea says as she starts driving towards Georgie's house. Georgie  groans she always had research to do. That's when something  rolled right into the middle of the road causing Drea to slam on the break muttering "De ja vu." As this had happen to her when Michaela was in the car before. 

"Well Georgie  it looks like your  secret admirer is out to play. This is exactly  what happened  when Mick was being  targeted  by  Jace." Drea says as Georgie  nods, scanning  around  the area. It was like that thing came out of nowhere.

"Great, just great, callings why me!" Georgie  calls out to the voice that told the 828ers what to do. She knew she couldn't  get them, but some warning about that barrel would have been nice.

"Great, it has begun." Olive says with  a groan as Nala perks up growling  looking  to the left side. Georgie  instantly  knew that Nala  had  saw somebody.  Drea take the back way home please, at this time I don't  feel safe on the main roads. Georgie  says as Drea nods.

"Whatever  you  say." Drea says as she quickly  turns the car around  to go the opposite  direction. Georgie  watched out the car window intently  with Nala  doing the same. Georgie  just gently pets the dog

Nala, bark if you see anything  suspicious.  Georgie  told the puppy who nodded solemnly looking out the window like Georgie was happy to be doing a job. Since she was trained to do a job not sit around in a crate. Georgie  was glad Drea convinced her to get Nala; she was going  to need all the protection she could get.
