Jai couldn't stop admiring the girl in front of him. Who had her face lighted up. Glowing in happiness. She looked lost. Staring at his black orbs. She felt goosebumps in her skin. His hand was still lingering on hers.

"Hi"he said. Making her widen her eyes. He looked on when she didn't respond.

"Hello"he said snapping his fingers in front of her. Making her come back to her sense. He chuckled at her face. It looked flushed. She looked around and found everyone's eyes on them. She was totally embarrassed. But too shocked to deal with the situation. Jai kept smiling inwardly.

The moment she realised that they're standing so close. She stepped away from him. Lowered her head and literally ran away from there. The crowd broke into giggles and teasing. Giving Srishti a hard time. She hid herself behind Bhoomi who couldn't stop laughing. Holding her stomach. She never expected Srishti to loose such a chance ever in her life.

Jai smiled and walked to the middle of the stage. Srishti raised her head to look at him. Her lips curved into a wide smile. She couldn't believe that she saw him so closely. Her hand which held his a while ago was shivering like hell.

"Hi Darlings"his voice occupied the stage and everyone screamed his name. In excitement. Srishti couldn't even raise her voice. She was standing still.

"Thank you. Thank you Darlings for your love and support towards me. I love you all. And I'm so happy. To be a part of this function"he said smilingly. Srishti bited her lips to control her excitement. Hearing his voice. For real.

"First of all I want to thank all the members, staffs and faculties for having me here. This is for the first time. I'm attending an open cultural function event in a college. My heart feels so good to see you all. You all are being my support system ever since I've came into this movie field. My fans"he said and his eyes fell on Srishti. Others whistled and shouted. Srishti felt her heart in her mouth the moment she realised that his eyes are on her.

"Oh god. Oh my god. Someone please hold me. I will faint right now. He's looking at me. Oh god he's looking at me. Or he's looking at someone else? No...but I can feel his eyes on me. Gosh. His voice is so deep and intense. More like a metallic voice. It feels to good to hear that apart from his movies"Srishti said to herself. Keeping her eyes only on Jai.

"I received endless number of calls and messages asking me. Whether I'm attending the function or not. And finally here I'm standing in front of you. I'm looking forward to see the programmes"he continued to speak  for some more time. About his movies. Upcoming projects. Family. Fans. About college life. He also asked everyone to enjoy this phase of life as much as they can. Srishtis respect towards this man only increased a thousand folds.

"So thats it guys. Im having a great day and I hope you all are having the same too"he looked at Srishti again. She gulped.

"Thank you"he left the stage and came down to his seat. The crowd broke into claps. The programme started. Jai had to leave early. He had meeting with a new director today. After a while he insisted to leave. While Srishti still didn't got over from her shock.

After having a talk with the event organisers. He stepped aside and gave autographs to his fans. Who got crowded around. His guards tried to control the people who were drooling over their favourite hero.

Bhoomi dragged Srishti into the crowd. They neared jai.

"Akka see there he is. Go and talk to him"Bhoomi said dragging her closer.

"What? Bhoomi..I had enough adventures for today. I don't think I have to go for more"Srishti said worriedly. But Bhoomi already dragged Srishti closer to jai. Even though guards tried to block them. Jai noticed the girl who shouted his name in the crowd. He asked his guards not to hurt them and they made way for Srishti, Bhoomi and her friends.

"Come on Srishti. Don't miss it. You will not get another chance. Come"Kajal dragged Srishti along and she stumbled in her feet. Jai caught hold of her wrist before she fell down

"You okay?"he asked, concerned. Srishti got another mini heart attack. She stood frozen.  She didn't knew what to say. Bhoomi kicked her foot and she back to her sense. Jai smiled and loosened his hold on her. Srishti composed herself.

"Hello  sir"Nidhi said and jai smiled at her.

"Hi"he said politely.

"Actually she is a big f....."Srishti pinched Nidhis hand making her wince and glare at her. Srishti shook her head. Asking her to be quiet. They exchanged some girly things through expressions. While Jai's eyes were still lingering on Srishti

"Sir shall we go?"a guard approached him.

"Yes"he said while Srishtis heart felt heavy. She didn't knew if she will ever get a chance like this. His guards blocked them and made way for jai. Who waved at everyone and walked towards his car. Srishti kept looking at him with a smile.

Suddenly to her shock. He turned and looked at her for one last time. Srishti widened her eyes as soon as she realised that he was looking at her. He smiled at her and then waved at others. Before getting inside the car. She was still standing with open mouth while her friends who noticed him smiling at her. Was dumbfounded too.

It was a day to remember. For all of them.

Jai returned back home after a long tiring day. He was done with his meetings for the day. He was hell hungry as well. His mother served him food. And sat besides him. Shruti was sitting right next to him. Busy writing her notes. His grandma was sitting in the couch of the living room. Reading a book.

"Oh god..How many times I've warned you Raju. Eat slowly. Why are you always in a hurry?"Kumari asked and he pouted.

"You don't know Maa. The meeting with the director extended for two hours and only I know. How much I controlled my hunger"he said smacking his lips. And went for more curry making Shruthi chuckle.

"My foodie Anna"She said pulling his cheek.

"Maa ask her to shut her mouth. She's teasing me"he complained like a kid. Shruthi giggled

"Oh god these two. Shut your mouth and have it slowly"Kumari said making jai pout. He had his food slowly.

"Wait..Annaya how was the function today. The programme was live on YouTube but I missed it. Harsh Annaya shared me the link"Shruthi said making jai stop. He recalled what happened today. He didn't expect that a girl would shout his name in public. So loudly. The people who stood by her must have hurt their eardrums. She wasn't even aware that there were so many people around her. He recalled how their eyes were pasted to each other. He felt it crazy.

"It was great"he said after a pause and smiled.

"Raju see..I want to ask you something"his mother said and he looked at her.

"What is it Amma?"

"Same thing..When are you planning to get married?"she asked making him sigh.

"Maa please not again. I've already asked you not to bring this topic up. I need to concentrate well on my career and get done with a handful of good films. I have no idea about marriage"he scoffed.

"See Raju. How long are you planning to run away like this? Im very happy that you are a big star and a well known actor. People loves you so much. Girls are going mad over you and here you keep slipping from marriage. Why? One day or the other you have to get married to someone right?"his mother asked.

"Yes Amma. I can understand. But still I'm not ready for it. Please don't force me"he looked at the food with a disinterested face. Kumari slapped her head.

"Already your name is linked to rumours with all your female co stars and how do you think I'm going to tolerate it?"she asked

"Let people say anything maa. We know the truth right?"he said. Concentrating more on the food

"See your uncle had been searching for brides. Once we all like a girl mutually we will get her married to you and that's final"she said stubbornly and he chocked his food

"You serious Amma?"he asked

"Hundred percent!"she said firmly. He sighed.

"I'm sorry maa. But I really kept something away from you. I have a girlfriend and I can't cheat on her"he said

"What???????"Shruthi and Kumari yelled in unison

"You didn't even tell me"Shruthi hit his shoulder.

"Raju? Are you saying the truth?"his mother asked. Unbelievably

"Yes ma"he chuckled

"Who's she? I want to know. And why didn't you tell me this earlier?"she asked

"Yes Annaya. Tell na...who's the girl? Tell me tell me tell me"she shook him hardly.

"My nannamma. I love her so much. So..I can't cheat on her"he giggled and Shruthi face palmed herself. Kumari sighed.

"Raju I'll twist your ears okay"his granny said making him laugh.

"Will you ever be serious Raju?"Kumari asked

"Amma I'll get married whenever I feel like. But frankly speaking. I want to fall in love with someone. Treat her nicely. Spent time with her. Know her so well and then get married. We still have so much of time maa. I'm waiting for the right time and the right girl. And somewhere I feel like I don't have to go much to reach to her. If we are fated to be each others destiny. I'll meet her sooner. And if we'd already met. We'll meet again. She'll not be from the industry and you would love her okay?"he said and walked away.

Srishti still couldn't come out of her la la land. She was lost and genuinely happy. She couldn't even concentrate properly on rest of the programme. Bhoomi could only chuckle looking at her face. Srishti considered herself as so lucky. She got a chance to stand close to him. Hold his hand. It gave her goosebumps.

On reaching back home. She quickly narrated the entire happening to her parents. She couldnt stop herself. She rushed to her room and grabbed her diary. She lay on the bed. With the tip of the pen resting in her lips. She wrote it from her heart.

Dear Diary ,

I MET HIM!

It still sound like a dream to me. I met my superstar who happens to be the most grounded , humble and the sweetest person ever. The moment my eyes got a glimpse of him. Everything else stopped. He looks more handsome in real. Guess what. A part of me felt as if im never gonna meet him even if hes so close to me. And thats why i shouted his name to try my luck. But i was luckiest. He called me to the stage. Held my hand. Im still feelings chills all over my body. The way he said hello. I thought i will faint right there. But thankfully I didnt. His speech was out of the world. Each word he spoke. Held so much of intensity and meaning. When I slipped when I reached before him , he held my wrist and asked me if I'm okay. I seriously wanted to freeze the moment. And everything around me. When he left, my heart felt heavy. I didn't wanted him to go and I know I'll never get a chance to meet him ever again in my life. But still...there's a question which kept me nagging. I could feel his eyes on me when he was speaking. He looked at me before getting inside the car too. Was it my hallucination? Did he really he look at me? Oh god..he'd taken over me completely. Bhoomi teased me like hell. I'll never forget this day of my life.

The day I met him.

She closed her diary and hugged her pillow tightly. Closed her eyes. Getting lost in his thoughts again. Wondering if she's Lucky enough to meet him again.

Little did she knew that she's soon gonna be her favourite persons destiny.
