CHAPTER 14(15+)

Scene: The Edge of the Forbidden Forest

Jimin stormed deeper into the forest, his mind racing with everything he had just witnessed. The image of Emma and Jungkook kissing burned in his memory, twisting like a knife in his chest. He had tried to stay calm, to keep his emotions in check, but seeing them like that had broken something inside him.

The bond he shared with Emma—he had thought it was unbreakable, that it meant something deeper than mere attraction. But now, doubt crept in, poisoning his thoughts. Had it all been one-sided? Was Emma only with him because of the bond, while her heart belonged to someone else?

Jimin leaned against a tree, closing his eyes as the weight of it all crushed him. His breaths came in ragged gasps, his chest tight with the overwhelming pain of betrayal. He had never felt so vulnerable, so lost.

Jimin (whispering to himself):
"She chose him..."

He opened his eyes, blinking back the sting of tears. But before he could spiral deeper into his thoughts, he heard footsteps—soft, hesitant, but unmistakable.

Emma.

Jimin stiffened as she approached, her eyes wide with worry and guilt. She had come after him, but he wasn't sure if he could face her, not after everything he had just seen.

Emma (breathless):
"Jimin, please. Let me explain."

Jimin clenched his jaw, turning away from her. He couldn't look at her, not when the image of her kissing Jungkook was still fresh in his mind.

Jimin (bitterly):
"What's there to explain, Emma? I saw everything."

Emma reached out, her hand brushing his arm as she tried to get him to face her.

Emma (pleading):
"It wasn't what you think! I needed to know, Jimin. I needed to know if there was something real between me and Jungkook, or if it was just... confusion. But it wasn't. I didn't feel anything—nothing like I feel with you."

Jimin's heart clenched at her words, but he still couldn't shake the hurt. He had seen her kiss Jungkook. That was real, no matter what she said now.

Jimin (bitterly):
"So you had to kiss him to figure that out?"

Emma's face twisted in pain as she took a step closer, her voice soft, almost broken.

Emma:
"I'm sorry. I didn't know what else to do. I thought maybe if I kissed him, I'd understand my feelings better. But all it did was make me realize how much I care about you. How much you mean to me."

Jimin closed his eyes, the conflict inside him tearing him apart. He wanted to believe her, wanted to believe that this bond between them was real. But the image of her with Jungkook wouldn't leave his mind.

Emma took another step, closing the distance between them. She cupped his face gently, her fingers cool against his heated skin.

Emma (whispering):
"Please, Jimin. Look at me."

Slowly, reluctantly, Jimin opened his eyes, meeting her gaze. There was something raw and vulnerable in her expression, something that pulled at him despite the hurt.

Emma (softly):
"I'm sorry. I know I hurt you. But I need you to know that when I'm with you... everything feels right. It's like nothing else matters."

Her words hung in the air between them, heavy with emotion. Jimin's resolve wavered, his walls crumbling as he looked into her eyes. He could feel the bond between them, the pull that had always been there. And despite everything, he couldn't deny the way his heart ached for her.

Without thinking, Jimin closed the distance between them, his lips crashing against hers in a passionate kiss. It was desperate, fueled by all the confusion and pain, but also by the intense desire he had been holding back for so long.

Emma responded immediately, her arms wrapping around his neck as she pressed herself against him. The kiss deepened, their breaths mingling as the intensity of their emotions poured out into each touch.

Jimin's hands slid down her waist, pulling her closer as his lips moved hungrily against hers. There was a heat between them, something electric that neither of them could deny. Every touch sent sparks through Jimin's body, making him forget everything but the feel of her in his arms.

Emma moaned softly against his lips, her fingers threading through his hair as she tugged him closer. The world around them seemed to disappear, leaving only the two of them, lost in the passion of the moment.

But as Jimin's lips trailed down her jaw, pressing heated kisses against the soft skin of her neck, something shifted inside Emma. Her breath hitched, and she suddenly pulled back, her eyes wide with realization

The forest around them seemed to melt away, leaving only the charged atmosphere between Jimin and Emma. The weight of their emotions had reached its peak, and as Jimin's lips moved down Emma's neck, the world became a blur of heat and desire.

Emma's breath hitched as Jimin pressed her gently against a tree, his hands bracketing her on either side, caging her in. His touch was firm yet tender, and she could feel the raw emotion radiating off of him. The bond between them thrummed with intensity, drawing them closer, pulling them into a magnetic field neither of them could resist.

Emma (breathless):
"Jimin..."

Her voice was barely a whisper, her body trembling as Jimin's lips continued their slow descent, tracing a line of soft kisses down the column of her throat. Each kiss sent waves of electricity through her, igniting something deep inside her that she had never felt before. She knew this was different—this wasn't just the bond. It was something more.

Jimin's hands slid to her waist, his fingers gripping her firmly but carefully, as if he were holding onto something precious. He pressed closer, their bodies nearly flush as he kissed the sensitive spot just below her ear. Emma gasped softly, her hands finding their way to his chest, clutching at his shirt as her mind swirled in a haze of desire.

Jimin (hoarse, against her skin):
"I can't stop thinking about you, Emma. Every second, every moment... it's like you're under my skin."

His words, laced with vulnerability and yearning, sent a shiver down her spine. Emma's heart pounded in her chest, the intensity of the moment leaving her breathless. She didn't know what to say, didn't know how to express the tangle of emotions inside her.

Jimin's lips found their way back to hers, capturing her mouth in a kiss that was deep, heated, and all-consuming. Emma responded without hesitation, her hands sliding up to his neck, pulling him closer as she lost herself in the moment. The kiss was different this time—more urgent, more passionate. It was as if they were both trying to convey everything they couldn't say in words.

As the kiss deepened, Jimin's hands roamed, one sliding up to cup the side of her face while the other stayed at her waist, holding her steady against him. Emma felt the rough bark of the tree against her back, contrasting with the warmth of Jimin's body pressed against her.

And then, Jimin pulled back slightly, his forehead resting against hers, their breaths mingling in the cool night air. His eyes, dark and intense, searched hers, as if he were looking for answers, for reassurance.

Jimin (voice thick with emotion):
"I don't want to lose you, Emma. Not to Jungkook, not to anyone."

Emma's heart twisted at the raw vulnerability in his voice. She could see the pain, the fear of losing her, written across his face. But she wasn't sure how to respond, how to make sense of everything she was feeling.

Before she could gather her thoughts, Jimin's lips were on hers again, more insistent this time, more desperate. He pushed her gently but firmly against the tree, his body pressing into hers as the kiss deepened, growing more heated by the second.

Emma's mind spun, lost in the whirlwind of emotions and sensations. She could feel the bond between them pulsating, stronger than ever, pulling them together in a way that felt both exhilarating and terrifying. Her hands clutched at Jimin's shirt, pulling him closer, needing to feel more of him, to drown in the intensity of the moment.

But as Jimin's hands slid down her sides, gripping her hips as if he were afraid to let go, something flickered in the back of Emma's mind—a tiny voice of hesitation.

She pulled back slightly, breaking the kiss just enough to look into his eyes, her breath coming in shallow gasps.

Emma (softly, hesitantly):
"Jimin, wait..."

Jimin paused immediately, his breathing heavy, his eyes clouded with desire and confusion. He searched her face, his grip on her hips loosening slightly, though his body still pressed her against the tree.

Jimin (hoarse):
"What's wrong?"

Emma bit her lip, her heart pounding in her chest. She didn't want to stop—everything about this felt right, felt like it was meant to be. But there was still that nagging doubt, that little voice reminding her that they needed to be careful, that this bond was powerful and overwhelming, and it might be influencing them in ways they didn't fully understand.

She cupped his face gently, her thumb brushing across his cheek as she tried to steady her racing thoughts.

Emma (softly):
"I just... I need to be sure. I need to know that this is real—that it's not just the bond making us feel this way."

Jimin's expression softened, his eyes searching hers with an intensity that made her heart ache. He leaned his forehead against hers again, his voice low and raw with emotion.

Jimin:
"It feels real to me, Emma. Every time I'm with you, it's like nothing else matters. But if you need time... I'll wait. I'll always wait for you."

Emma's chest tightened at his words, the sincerity in his voice wrapping around her heart like a warm embrace. She could feel the depth of his feelings, and she knew that hers mirrored his in so many ways. But there was still so much they didn't understand about the bond, about how it worked.

Before she could respond, a rustling sound came from the edge of the forest, pulling them both out of the moment. Jimin tensed immediately, turning toward the noise, his protective instincts kicking in.

But when they saw who it was, Emma's heart skipped a beat. Standing there, his face pale and filled with shock, was Jungkook.

His eyes flickered between the two of them, taking in their disheveled appearances, the way Jimin had her pinned against the tree, their flushed faces and swollen lips. The hurt and betrayal on Jungkook's face was unmistakable, and Emma's stomach twisted with guilt.

Jungkook (voice cracking):
"So this is what's been going on?"

Emma felt a pang of guilt at the pain in his voice, her heart breaking for him. She had known how much Jungkook cared about her, but seeing the raw emotion on his face now made everything so much more real.

Emma (softly):
"Jungkook, I..."

But Jungkook didn't let her finish. He shook his head, his eyes filling with tears as he turned and ran deeper into the forest, disappearing into the shadows.

Emma's heart sank, the weight of everything crashing down on her. She had hurt him, and there was no undoing that.

Jimin watched Jungkook go, his jaw clenched, a storm of emotions brewing in his eyes. He didn't say anything, but Emma could feel the tension between them, the unspoken acknowledgment of the damage that had been done.

Emma took a deep breath, her mind swirling with guilt, confusion, and the undeniable pull she still felt toward Jimin. Everything was falling apart, and she didn't know how to fix it.

But one thing was clear—the bond between her and Jimin was undeniable, and no matter how much she tried to fight it, it would always be there, pulling them together in ways she couldn't control.
