"Another bad dream" I thought to myself.
I got up out of bed, got dressed, put on my black lipstick, and ran downstairs.
"Morning Sweet Heart," The woman who adopted me said.
"Don't call me that," I said, "I have told you that Jenifer."
"Oh ok," She said.
I grabbed my back pack and started to head out the door.
"Bye sissy" Kayla yelled as I walked out.
I waved and closed the door.
It was the first day at a new school. A new wave of hell. And it was right smack dab in the middle of the year. Yay...
As I'm walking a girl bumps into me.
"Oh my god," she said as she extended her hand, "I'm so sorry."
I just roll my eyes and get up. I start walking away.
"Wait," she said running to catch up to me, "may I have your name."
"No," I say still walking.
"Please,"
"No,"
"Please,"
"No,"
"Please,"
"No,"
"Pleeeaaase,"
"Fine," I practically yell, "but only the first letter."
"Its a start," she said
"It starts with a V" I said
"Well nice to meet you V," she said happily extending he hand once more "I'm Amanda Jace."
I hesitated a bit, but I shook it anyways. We walked the rest of the way to school together.
Maybe this day wouldn't be so bad after all.
