2018 ― Wakanda
"Uh, we don't do that here."

"The Kingsguard and the Dora Milaje have been alerted." Okoye, The General spoke to King T'Challa. Steve had reached out to them asking if they could come to Wakanda for Vision's situation, which he happily told him yes. Steve and Katherine were friends to him.

"And the Border Tribe?" T'Challa asked.

"Those that are left," Okoye responded.

"Send word to the Jabari as well. M'Baku loves a good fight." T'Challa said.

"And what of this one?" Okoye asked, her head gesturing ahead to where they were walking. Bucky Barnes, who had been taking refuge in Wakanda after the situation in Berlin, knew he was going to want to see his friends again. The King had come down to offer him a new metal arm that was made for him.

"This one may be tired of war. But the White Wolf has rested long enough." T'Challa said. One of the guardsmen set the case down that contained Bucky's metal arm and when Bucky approached it, T'Challa approached him. Bucky looked at the arm before looking at him, knowing what it meant.

"Where's the fight?" Bucky asked. T'Challa took a deep breath before answering.

"On its way."

"Drop to 2600, heading 0-3-0," Steve said when he approached Sam as they entered Wakanda. Natasha sat with Banner. Wanda with Vision and Katherine with her kids. It seemed like a long flight, mainly because it was, but Katherine had a feeling, the worst was going to find them. If Thanos is after all the stones, it won't take long before he comes to Wakanda looking for Vision's stone.

"I hope you're right about this. Or we're going to land a lot faster than you want to." Sam said as he adjusted the gears to what Steve said. When the jet landed and the doors opened, Katherine, Steve, and the rest of the crew were met by T'Challa and his guard.

Steve and Katherine lead everyone out of the jet, with Nat right next to Katherine and everyone else behind them. "Seems like we're always thanking you for something," Katherine said with a smile as she and Steve approached T'Challa. The two men shook hands, then T'Challa and Katherine shared a hug, then she noticed his eyes went to Banner.

When she turned around, she noticed that Banner was bowing which made her laugh as T'Challa spoke. "Uh, we don't do that here." He said, which made Katherine laugh more as they all walked towards his meeting place.

"So how big of an assault should we expect?" T'Challa asked.

"Uh, sir...-sir, I think you should expect quite a big assault." Banner said.

"How are we looking?" Katherine asked.

"You'll have our Kingsguard, the Border Tribe, the Dora Milaje, and..." He trailed off as Bucky came approaching the pair.

"And a semi-stable 100-year-old man," Bucky said. Amaya and Christian wore big smiles on their faces as they ran over to Bucky.

"Uncle Bucky!" They both shouted together while giving him a hug. Bucky chuckled as he hugged the kids back, and kissed Amaya on her forehead, then Christian looked at his arm before looking at his sister.

"See, I told you they'd give him a new arm." He said, which made Bucky laugh. Then Steve stepped forward and hugged his best friend, then Katherine did the same and Bucky kissed her on the cheek.

"My favorite prettiest girls in the world," Bucky said to Amaya and Katherine which made them both smile.

"How you been, Buck?" Steve asked.

"Uh, not bad, for the end of the world." He responded with a light chuckle.

The Avengers now stood in Shuri's lab as she was analyzing the stone in Vision's head and how she would be able to take it out. "How long?" Steve asked after Shuri had said to her brother that it would take a while.

"As long as you can give me." She said.

"Something's entered the atmosphere," Okoye said. Katherine noticed the beads on her arm and the hologram that was coming out of them. The technology here was so advanced. She bumped Steve before whispering to him.

"If Howard could see this technology... he would be having a field day. Tony too." She whispered, which made her husband laugh, but he agreed.

"Hey, Cap. We got a situation here." Sam Wilson came in through his coms. He, Bucky, Rhodey, and Christian were all outside as they were watching a part of one of the ships from space fall through to the atmosphere, and when it looked like it was going to fall through, the forcefield that surrounded Wakanda for safety made it self destruct on its own, and Christian had a big smile on his face.

"I already love this country. Mom, Dad... can we move here?" Katherine and Steve looked at each other before laughing a little at their son. Honestly, Katherine knew Wakanda wouldn't be a bad place to live. It is very nice, technologically sound, and advanced, but she knows that Steve's home will always be Brooklyn, and she knows that he wants to get their family back there as soon as he can.

"Don't start celebrating yet, guys. We got more incoming outside the dome." Rhodey spoke. The Avengers that were inside Shuri's lab all stood and watched as the parts of the ships crashed outside of the protective dome and went down in flames.

"It's too late. We need to destroy the stone, now." Vision said. Natasha turned around to see that Vision was trying to stand up.

"Vision, get your ass back on the table," Natasha said.

"We will hold them off," T'Challa said.

"Amaya, I want you to stay here with Vision, and as soon as that stone is out of his head, blow it to hell," Katherine said to her daughter who nodded her head.

"I will." She said.

"Evacuate the city. Engage all defenses." T'Challa spoke as he was walking out of the room, and then he turned around and looked at Steve. "And get this man a shield." He said. Steve turned around at the mention of a shield, and they shared a head nod before Steve looked at his daughter.

"Alright, I know this isn't your first real test, or go around, but this is probably the biggest battle you're going to fight," Steve said to Amaya. He knew that she was going to join the fight after the stone was destroyed, so he wanted them to be prepared.

"I know, Dad. I'm ready." She said.

"Princess, we know you're ready. We've seen you and Christian grow into your powers exponentially. But if at any time you need mine or your father's help, just call out for one of us. .-" Amaya cut her mom off and took both of her parents' hands.

"...-Mom, Dad... me and Christian have had the best examples of what real heroes look like. The two of you, Aunt Nat, Aunt, Nic, Uncle Sam, Uncle Tony, Wanda, you've all trained us well." Amaya said. Katherine smiled before pulling her daughter into a hug, because she didn't know how this battle was going to go, and just in case anything went wrong, she didn't want to leave any regrets. She was going to hug Christian as soon as they got out onto the battlefield.

"Baby, I love you so much," Katherine whispered, kissing her forehead.

"I love you too, Mom," Amaya said, when the two of them pulled away, Amaya hugged her dad tightly. "I love you too, Daddy." She said.

"I love you more, princess." He said.

"Kind of jealous I'm missing out on all the love here," Christian said into the coms which made his parents and his sister laugh.

"You know we all love you, idiot," Amaya said.

"Definitely feeling it from here." He said, which made them laugh again.

"Hey... stay here with Shuri, blow that stone as soon as she gets it out of his head, and then you can come to join us on the battlefield, okay?" Katherine said. Amaya nodded her head, before going back to the lab with Shuri and Vision.

"I don't know anything about this Thanos, but I know if he's after the Infinity Stones, this isn't going to be good. I don't know how this battle is going to end, Steve, so I just want to make sure that everything is...-" Steve Rogers cut his wife off by grabbing her waist and pulling her into a kiss.

Katherine was slightly caught by surprise but managed to ease into the kiss while wrapping her arms around her husband's neck. Her fingers ran back through his hair, while his trailed over her back as they shared a passionate and intimate moment between the two of them.

"I love you, Katherine Rogers, no matter what happens, we're going to get through this like we get through everything. Together." He said, and she nodded her head.

"Together. I love you too, Steve Rogers."
