2023 ― Upstate New York
"It's like, uh... I was made for this."

 Bruce Banner and Tony Stark were working alongside each other with one addition to their science group; Rocket. Although they did miss their original trio with Nikita. Together, the three of them were designing a gauntlet that would be able to hold the power of the stones, and they successfully made one in the form of what looked like a glove straight from Tony's suit. They watched as all the stones were placed into the gauntlet, and took a satisfying breath.

"Boom!" Rocket exclaimed making Tony jump and then he looked at Rocket while the raccoon just laughed. They brought the glove out of the case it was in and put it into a smaller case where someone could slide their hand into it, but they needed to figure out who was going to snap.

"Alright, the glove's ready." Rocket said as they had gathered all the Avengers together in the meeting room. "Question is, who's going to snap their freaking fingers?" He asked.

"I'll do it," Thor said.

"Excuse me?" Tony asked.

"It's okay," Thor said while approaching them. Everyone was suited up and ready just in case something were to happen, but everyone reached out to stop Thor.

"Stop, stop. Slow down." Tony said.

"Thor, just wait. We haven't decided who's going to put that on yet." Steve said.

"I'm sorry. What, we're all just sitting around waiting for the right opportunity?" Thor asked.

"We should at least discuss it first," Scott said.

"He's right. I mean, the stones harness a lot of power. You saw what they did to Thanos after he snapped. He almost died." Katherine said.

"Look, sitting here staring at the thing is not going to bring everybody back. I'm the strongest Avenger, okay? So this responsibility falls upon me. It's my duty." Thor said.

"Normally, you're right. But not about this." Katherine said as she tried to calm Thor down as he continued to try and talk over her. "Thor, hey! Stop, just listen to me...-" He cut her off.

"...-Just let me." He said and then she noticed his voice start to break. "Just let me do it. Just let me do something good. Something right. Just let me bring Nikita back," Thor begged her. Katherine frowned because she hated to see him upset, but she shook her head.

"Look, it's not just the fact that that glove is channeling enough energy to light up a continent. I'm telling you, because I care about you, Thor. You're in no condition to do this." Katherine said.

"What do you think is coursing through my veins right now?" Thor asked.

"Cheez Whiz?" Rhodey said and Katherine looked at him and glared. Between him and Rocket, she was getting tired of all of the fat jokes.

"Lightning," Thor said.

"Yeah... lightning. I know," Katherine said.

"Lightning won't help you, pal. It's gotta be me." Bruce said.

"How do you figure?" Steve asked.

"As Katherine said, you saw what those stones did to Thanos. They almost killed him. None of you could survive." Bruce said as he approached where the glove was sitting.

"How do we know you will?" Steve asked.

"We don't. But the radiation's mostly gamma. It's like, uh... I was made for this." Bruce said. Meanwhile, no one had noticed that Nebula wasn't in the room, because it wasn't their Nebula. The 2014 Nebula had come back with the rest of the Avengers so she could bring her father here.

They were in for a shock.

"Good to go?" Tony asked Bruce when he picked up the glove.

"Let's do it," Bruce said.

"Okay remember, everyone Thanos snapped away five years ago... you're just bringing them back to now, today. Don't change anything from the last five years." Tony said.

"Got it." He said. Katherine noticed that her husband had put on his helmet. She was fully equipped in her suit and she looked at her daughter who tapped her bracelet twice and her suit overtook her body as well, and she tied Katherine's old bandana on, and then Katherine put her daughter behind her and Steve. Tony let his suit overtake him, and all of the other Avengers stood around suited up, not knowing what was going to happen after Bruce snapped.

"Friday, do me a favor and activate Barn Door Protocol, will ya?" Tony said. Then all of the Avengers noticed that all of the windows started to get closed over with what were probably explosive proof shields. Katherine grabbed her husband's hand, and he squeezed hers.

"Everybody comes home." Banner said before sticking his hand into the glove. It adjusted to the size of his hand and as soon as he had it on, everyone could see the power of the stones radiating through him as it brought him to his knees while he groaned out in pain.

"Take it off! Take it off!" Thor exclaimed.

"No, wait. Bruce, are you okay?" Katherine asked him.

"Talk to me, Banner," Tony said as Bruce stood up from the ground. He groaned out a little bit more before nodding his head.

"I'm okay." He addressed the group.

Bruce continued to breathe heavily, but he was able to raise his fingers up, and he snapped. After he snapped, the glove fell off of his hand as he fell to the ground and Steve immediately let go of his wife's hand as he ran to his side, and Katherine grabbed her daughter.

"Is he okay?" Amaya asked her mom.

"I hope so," Katherine whispered back.

"Did it work?" Banner asked.

"We're not sure. It's okay." Thor said. The protective shields opened back up as Scott walked over to the window because he could hear something outside. Then Clint's phone started to vibrate and when he went to pick it up, he saw it was his wife calling. Scott was still looking out the window, while everyone else was tending to Bruce.

"Guys... I think it worked." Katherine heard Scott say, and then she noticed that it started to get shady on the inside and when she looked up, she saw a ship over top of them.

"Incoming!" Katherine yelled. Steve quickly grabbed his wife and his daughter, right as the first missile blasted through. Thanos' army continued to fire off missiles until the entire Avengers facility was completely demolished.

It was time for war.

I still really think it was really disrespectful how, he just gon' blow up the entire facility like... the one thing Thanos had a lot of, was audacity. Now, I'm excited about the battle scenes, because I can't wait to do the reunions.
