Lucifer x Reader - White Witch

"Excuse me. What?"

"I would like to be a Witch, but I also wanna help people, so if we make this deal, would it please be ok if I hunt demons as well?"

Lucifer, to say the least, was stunned. That doesn't happen often as you can imagine, but here you were, little (First) (Last) at the young age of (age), asking for a deal with the Devil Himself, but also asking permission to kill his 'henchmen' at the same time. A smirk begged to take his lips, but his brain was taking a moment to think it over. The only reason he hadn't left or blasted her to pieces was of how she'd summoned him. Usually, when people call out to attempt a deal, he'd just send off a demon and let them deal with it, but this time he'd decided to go himself, all because of how you'd called.

'Excuse me? Is the Arch-Angel Lucifer there please? I'd like to arrange a deal if that'd be ok?'

Honestly, what kind of sentimental idiot asks the Devil to appear by saying please? You were excessively polite, but you'd called him 'Arch-Angel Lucifer'. Most of the moronic beings known as the human race just called out for Satan or the Devil, rarely saying Lucifer and never 'Arch-Angel'. After you'd recovered from the initial shock, he'd asked you why you'd called him so. Your answer?

"Well that's technically what you are right? Or well, at least you were. But 'Fallen Angel Lucifer' sounded so saddening. I didn't think you'd want people to call for you like that, so I went with something that you might actually like. At least, I hope you don't hate it, but I'm sorry if you did."

You'd stood there with the most remorseful and nervous expression. Not because you were scared, you were actually worried you'd hurt his feelings. Which bring us back to now.

"Why on earth would I give you power to kill my own creations?" He asked with a quirk of his eyebrow. You stuttered nervously.

"W-well, I uh. I don't really know. I get the feeling you don't like your demons though, and I'd much rather just send them back to Hell if theres a spell for that. That way, I might be able to save them later."

Save them? SAVE THEM?! Lucifer let out a scoff at that, a humoured expression covered his features. Save the demons? And do what? Send them to Heaven? Give them bodes? How did she plan to save a demon??

"Darling, I don't quite think you know what a demons capable of." Her eyebrows knitted together in a bit of a scowl.

"I do so!" She sounded like a child. "I go hunting with my family all the time. We've seen plenty of demons! And Vampires and Werewolves and Djin too!!"

"Oh? Who are your family?"

"Sam and Dean!!" Her eyes widened along with his. "I shouldn't have said that. Oh dear. Forget I said anything!" She panicked as her eyes grew wider and she began to wave her arms about in a weird 'jazz hand' kinda way. Lucifers eyes narrowed.

"Sam and Dean Winchester huh? I should have known they'd have something to do with this. So they put you up to this huh? Gain another advantage over me?! They must be desperate if they're sending family to cross over to the dark side."

"N-no! They don't- they don't know I'm here. They-"

"STOP LYING!!" Lucifer yelled. Her eyes teared up and she hung her head to the ground and brought her hands up to catch the tears.

"They don't... they don't I- I just have to get him back. I have to. I miss him so much." She muttered to the ground. Who was she talking about? Last he checked, Sam and Dean were both alive, so was Castiel.

"Who?" He asked, to curious to stay enraged. "Who do you want back?" She sniffled and hiccuped trying to get the word out.

"Gabe." Gabe? She couldn't mean...

"Gabriel? The Arch-Angel Gabriel. My brother?" She nodded her head weakly. This was new information to take in. Lucifer had killed him just a few earth-weeks ago, and now this girl was coming to his killer for help? He was a little to shocked to say anything, so they sat in silence a while, before (First) muttered something.

"I saw you, you know. In the room you killed him. You didn't want too. You cried and I saw it and I knew... I want... I need to get him back. He's my best friend. I miss him so much it hurts sometimes. I thought... you cried, and I thought you might miss him. It's probably impossible, but I want to try and get him back, but I can't do it without help. God's missing and all the other Angels seem completely indifferent to it. But despite it all, you really seem to care."

Lucifer thought about it a while. This silly little girl, with her weird ways and her over politeness, of course her and Gabriel were friends. She probably got them out of so many situations, most of which he probably got them into. He could picture them together.

He missed Gabriel, as much and if not more then she did, despite being the Devil. It had hurt him, but he'd been on the side of what she was. These, these... Abominations! He scowled and looked back at her. She was still sobbing and he couldn't retain the hatred he felt towards her. He still hated humans of course, but not her. In defeat, he raised his hands out in front of him, palm up and released a bit of his power into her. It came out in whitish blue wisps of mist, the last of his pure, untainted Grace. He somehow couldn't bring himself to corrupt her, she was already stuck in this hell-bound world and for some reason, he couldn't make it worse. Just to give it one last touch, he snapped him fingers and a pure white witches hat placed itself on her head.

She stood up abruptly at the new sensations and her hands flew to her head to feel what was sitting there. She instantly realised what it was and what had happened and took the few steps forward to close the distance between them. Her arms wrapped around his waist and she buried her face in his chest, small tears still escaping her eyes.

"Thank you." She whispered repeatedly. "Thank you so much." He, for some reason unknown to him, didn't push her away, but let himself be hugged and even went so far as to wrap his arms loosely around her too.

"I won't let you down, I'll bring him back, you'll see." He smiled, his expression now softening. He pulled her away just enough to see her face and removed her hat.

"I know you will." He said, leaning down and pressing a soft kiss to the top of her head, nestling into her hair a moment before leaning back and looking her in the eye. "My White Witch."

And with that, he snapped his fingers, sending her home and walking back into the shadows, wondering when he'd get to see her again.
