"Oh my God" I breathed out trying to open Khaddie dorm with the spare key she gave me. Finally the lock opened I quickly entered and closed the door behind me gasping for air.
I walked up to the bed and laid on my back staring at the ceiling. As I looked at how white the ceilings were I remembered what happened earlier.

"John" I whispered as I turned around
"Kaisha please can we talk" he said to me with a weird look, like it's supposed to get to me!
Is this guy kidding me? He almost ended all my 17 years of life and he's asking if we could talk
"You kidding?" I asked sarcastically staring at him blankly.
"I know Kaisha, I'm sorry, I ran away immediately I snapped out of it" he said coming closer to me.
I moved back. Did he want a hug. Wtf is going on!!

"John! Snapped out of what? And I don't think sorry can fix what happened earlier you almost killed me and even called me a slut in front of half the whole school" I said
This guy must really be crazy or something.

"Kaisha, I swear I didn't mean to do that, I'm so sorry I would never Intentionally hurt you" he cried out

I looked away from him into the dark end of the road and it dawned on me, you must be really stupid Kaisha a lot of murder cases were recorded to happen this way, and here I am, am I really having a conversation with someone who attempted to kill me well not kill but he almost did.
"Don't follow me"I whispered loud enough for him to hear and Immediately started running away from him.

"Oh my Goodness Kaisha you are safe" I heard Khaddie voice snapping me out of my memory.
I didn't even hear her come in!

"I'm safe Khaddie" I said to her seating up.
"I was so worried, I'm really sorry for what happened earlier" she said walking closer, her face getting clearer, I can see the look of sadness all over it.

"It's fine Khaddie, I'm sorry for snapping at you I was just really scared about the whole situation and I'm sorry for pushing the blame on you, I thought it would make me feel better, but seconds later I felt worse"
Hugging her

She hugged me back
"Oh, don't apologize, it's partly my fault, I'm so glad you are okay"she said

"Awww she cares about me" I teased her

"Oh please shut up" she replied pulling away from my embrace
"I'm so hungry" I muffled
"Should we order pizza and some yoghurts?" she asked me, it felt almost as if she read my mind.

Oh well, my life just flashed through my eyes, pizza and yoghurt could help calm me, I guess.

"Okay let's do that" she answered herself without giving me the chance to do so.

I need to take a shower, I sighed unconsciously as I walked to the bathroom, guess I was that tired.
Immediately I walked in, I slided down the bathroom door and broke down in tears.
Where are they coming from? I guess I can't just ignore the way I felt inside.

I was so scared
I sobbed silently thinking about what could have gone wrong with him. What was it that he was trying to tell me?
I stripped of my clothes and walked to the shower abandoning my thoughts and turning it on.

My tears along with the water ran down my body.
I'm so pathetic!
As I turned off the shower and walked out of the bathroom, I walked to Khaddie closet to get  a fresh towel and also one of her robes for myself.

Khaddie probably went out for the pizza since she's not in.
As I tied the ropes of the robes Khaddie walked in with the box of pizza and yoghurts. I can't wait to dig in
"Do you feel better?"she asked as she placed them on the little table on the rug in front of her bed.

"Yes I do thank you"
I sat on the rug next to the table

Khaddie sat too ,looking worried, seems she didn't believe me

"I'm fine bish!!!!!" I screamed and smiled at her 

"Kaishaaaaaa" she scolded, "do you want  my neighbors to wake up?" rolling her eyes.

"Oh what's up your ass" I replied smuggly.

"Yen yen yen" we bursted into laughter.
I opened the box of pizza, she ordered chicken pizza and it looks good.

"Thank you, Khaddie" I smiled.

"You are welcome, let's dig in"she replied smiling back
"Oh I can't wait"
We both digged in enjoying the burst of flavors in our mouths.

We soon finished pretty quick and cleared the table.

"Good night Khaddie" I said as we both laid on her bed.

"Good night" we dozed off.

"Wake up big head!!!!!!!!!!" Khaddies high pitched voice woke me up.

God, she was jumping on the bed! How old is she again?

"Ughhhhhh Dude can you get off I wanna sleep more" I groaned

"Yen yen yen" she replied still jumping .

"Why are you hyperactive" I said finally seating up resting my back on the bed frame staring at Khaddie who was still acting like a mid-schooler.

"Nothing we are going to be having a fun day Bish!!!!!!!" She replied screaming.

What's so fun about the day!? I was thinking when I heard her voice again

"God your voice is piercing through my ear" I said throwing her pillow at her.

Khaddie finally calmed down and the noise stopped, few minutes later we both went to do our business and got done with it.

We showered and I borrowed a dress from Khaddie to wear.

We both sat at the middle of the room.

"Let's both write what we think would be fun in ten pieces of paper each that means we have 20 things to do" she chuckled.

"Okay" I replied standing up to get a pen and book from Khaddie book shelf, it was very organized with a pleasant stationery scent.

Okay let's see I thought as I sat back down with all the will power I had in me.

She already got her pen and book also

Few minutes later.

"Doneeee" I and Khaddie said at the same time banging our hands on the table.

We both burst into laughter at that. I'm always finding a reason to burst out laughter around her.

"Okay, let's start"Khaddie said with a serious look, she was so into this.
We mixed all the papers together.

"Ready ?" She asked as we were about to pick one.

I nodded in affirmation trying to match her enthusiasm.

We both agreed on the one to pick, then Khaddie carefully opened the squished paper showing it to me.
"Cook at all cost" we both read it out simultaneously.

"You definitely wrote this one "Khaddie said pointing her fingers at me

"Yen yen yen" I replied her. Yen yen yen used to be my slang till Khaddie stole it

"Let's get started!!!!" we both screamed, her enthusiasm hasn't gone down a bit

Soon enough we cooked, ate and did other things on the list.

We were almost done with the papers on the table
I was having so much fun I forgot myself completely.

All of a sudden we heard a phone ringing, I checked and it was my phone ringing

No calller Id?

Why would anyone hide their caller Id before calling me.
Weird but I picked it up not talking.

"Hi, it's John" the voice on the other side said.
"Oh" I replied in disappointment.
"Can we meet tomorrow?" he asked with enough doubt in his voice for m to feel it.
"Okay" I responded without thinking and ended the call.

That moment I had a flash of the events from last night which I was just starting to forget.

You bastard John.

"Who was that?" Khaddie voice snapped me out of my thoughts
I looked up to her inquisitive eyes staring at me

"John"

"That bastard what did he want?"she asked

"He asked if we could meet up "

"And you said 'YES' Kaisha, really? "she asked me with disgust on her face
I couldn't tell who the disgust was directed toward, I or John or both of us

"I know, it's just he was looking like he wanted to tell me something, last night he was saying something along the line of snapping out of it and....

"Wait you saw him last night after the whole incident" Khaddie said cutting me off with a mean tone.

"Yes"  I answered trying my best to avoid eye contact, like she was Medusa.

"You must really have a death wish because you are considering meeting him again" she snapped

This time around I caught a glimpse of her face
What exactly are those eyes saying? I couldn't tell what emotions she felt at that moment but it wasn't anger towards me.

"Don't you think we need to know what's wrong with him, you can't just decide to act like a maniac all of a sudden then chase after me begging, like you didn't just try to kill me right?"I asked ignoring the multiple questions that popped in my head.

"True, but we were just starting to have fun he just had to ruin it"she said hanging her head on the edge of the table.

"Khaddie, come on we can continue"I tickled her out of her gloomy mood

"Really?" she asked

I nodded smiling with a lot of enthusiasm
