Midnight, AvNeil room-

Neil had slept off but avni was wide awake
She got off the bed& went in balcony
She sat on the swing like a curled up ball- her legs wrapped in her arm, clung to her chest

She recollected all the moments of the past 1week- whenever chuhi tried to claim her right on neil
Slowly, a stream of tears started rolling down her eyes
Her heart clenched on thinking that neil will leave her& go back to chuhi- after all she was his first love

On the other hand, neil moved his hand to other side of the bed in an attempt to hug avni in sleep
But to his surprise, he found it empty
He got up at once& went towards the washroom but it was empty

He was about to move out but suddenly heard sound of mild sniffs
He moved towards the voice& finally found avni in the balcony
He sighed for a moment but then became worried on seeing her crying
Before he could ask her, he heard avni mumbling to herself

Before she could mumble any further, a pair of arms wrapped her broken self in a warm embrace
Avni lifted her gaze &it was none other than neil

She immediately wiped her tears so that he doesnt see them but it was of no use- he had already seen her pale face, puffy eyes& lips were dried

Avni silently went in& neil closed the balcony
Before avni could lay down on her bed to sleep (so that she doesnt have to face him), neil lifted her in bridal style &made her sit in his lap

Neil took rest of headboard& pulled avni closer to himself
Avni wrapped her arms around neil's lower back& sank her head on his chest while he started to caress her hair

Avni's mind wanted to refuse but her heart knew neil was right- she was actually broken& couldnt hold her emotions anymore

After a long internal battle of heart v/s mind, her heart finally won& slowly, a stream of tears started running down her eyes& she clutched the neckline of his t shirt, sniffing in between sobs while neil continued to caress her head- indicating that he was there for her &she can vent out her pain& inner turmoil

After sometime her sob slowed down& she moved back from his chest a little& neil expected her to speak whatever she was going through

I trust you& muje esa nahi feel karna chahiye but still im scared- scared to lose you

Jab bhi men chuhi ko tumhare aas paas dekhti hu toh humesha ek darr rehta h dil men- chuhi tumhe mujse cheen legi

Neil smiled& kissed her hair

Neil noticed that avni didnt respond at all
He lowered his gaze &saw she hadnt slept- she was wide awake
But her expressions looked blank which probably meant that either she was still fearful of neil leaving her or something else was also disturbing her

Suddenly his face became red in anger
Avni rubbed his back to calm him down

Soon her head started to spin slightly while everyone smirked

Neil widened his eyes in horror- as if he saw a ghost

He at once sat beside her& held her soft hands in his warm ones, while she was looking in other direction
