So since i got positive response on horror os, here it is
This is my first attempt in this genre so plz bare with me if you find something irrelevant

Prateek & Sanjana Khanna neil's parents

Namita Khanna- neil's paternal aunt/bua

Avni is an orphan& has lived in orphanage
She met neil in her office
They worked together& soon fell in love
Since Avni was a decent& beautiful, neil's family agreed for the marriage

After the wedding, AvNeil reach khanna mansion
When they get off the car, avni heard sniffs behind her back- as if a girl was crying
She turns at once but found nobody
She was still lost in her thoughts when she heard her in laws calling her so she shrugged off her thoughts& moves forward
Sanjana did AvNeil's arti& avni kicks the bowl of rice& then dips her feet in the red liquid

As she moved forward& left her footprints, the family also went inside the house
But unknown to everyone, another pair of feet dipped themself in the red liquid& another pair of footprints were left beside avni

Everyone went to their rooms& suddenly the floral decorations on the walls& in the entire house became dry

Neil entered their room which was decorated beautifully
He smiled& sat beside avni, making her blush
He held her wrist gently& as he made her face him, he fell off the bed in shock- she wasnt his avni
Instead, she was another girl wearing bridal dress but had a pale face, smudged makeup& messed up hair

N-kon...kon ho tum?

A(confused)-neilu kya hua?

N-waha bed pe koi baitha h...

Avni moved her gaze but found nobody

A-waha koi nahi h
Itne saare rituals ke baad tum thak gaye ho
Chalo so jaate h

He brushed off his thoughts
They changed into night dresses& slept
Neil smiled on seeing avni shifting her self totally on him

N-my sweetheart
I love you

He kissed her hair& let sleep take over himself

Late night-

Everyone was sleeping in their rooms when suddenly avni got up, got out of neil's arms& went towards namita's room, who was confused on seeing avni in her room

Na-avni tum yaha kya karri ho?
Jao jaake so jao
Kal tumhari pehli rasoi bhi toh h

Voice-aapne muje pehchaana nahi bua ji?
Men avni nahi hu

Na(trembling)-tum...tum toh...wo...

A-bilkul sahi bua ji

Na-par esa kese ho sakta h?

Before namita could say anything further, she was held by her neck, dragged to terrace& thrown from the edge-in a place were she would never be found
After this, she went downstairs, broke the lock of vault& her eye glittered on seeing the amount of jewellery boxes inside it
She picks a small box containing diamond bangles

She knew they were the ancestral (khaandani) diamond bangles of neil's family
She wore them& then saw her reflection in mirror& instead of avni, a girl was visible-clad in bridal dress- the same girl whom neil saw sitting beside him in his room few hrs ago
She smiled on clinkling the bangles with her bridal choora
The reflection again turned into avni which clearly meant that she was now possessed with an evil spirit

Next day-

Namita was no where to be found& sanjana was worried as well as confused

S-pata nahi kaha chali gayi- wo bhi itni subah subah

P-arre you know namita's nature na
She might have gone to keertan at a friends place& might be facing signal problem
Don't worry
She will be back soon

Prateek got a call so he moved aside& avni arrived with tea tray
When she was serving tea, sanjana noticed their ancestral (khaandani) diamond bangles on avni's wrists

S-avni ye kangan tumhe kaha se mile?

Avni was about to reply when suddenly neil came with his friends& introduced avni to them

His friends wished them for marriage& avneil smiled
Suddenly avni spotted a tub of ice cream which one of them was holding
She smiled& immediately snatched the tub from his friend& starts eating like a kid, leaving Khanna family embarrassed

On seeing avni's strange behaviour, neil's friends gave them the gifts they had for them& left while avni went inside her room, still busy eating her ice cream

Sanjana entered avneil's room& questioned avni for her strange behaviour while avni was laying on the bed, sniffing
Her back was facing sanjana

S-avni aaj tumhari wajah se neil ki uske friends ke saamne bohot insult hui h
Answer me ke tumne ese behaiv kyu kia

Avni lifts her face at once, leaving sanjana shocked bcz it wasnt avni-it was the same girl

Voice-men avni nahi hu
Par aapne muje pehchana nahi mujhe mummyji?

Sanjana was shocked to the core
She left the room at once

Evening-

Sanjana was preparing dinner in kitchen, though lost in her thoughts

S-no
This isn't possible
Somebody must have informed avni about all that
Somebody has filled her ears& that's why shes trying to scare me
But what if she gets to know the truth?

She was still lost in her thoughts when the lights in the kitchen start flickering
sanjana saw a shadow behind the curtain of door

S-kon h waha?
Mene pucha kon h waha!
Baahar aao!

The spirit came out all of a sudden

S-t...tu...tum...?
Tum yaha kese...
Tum toh...

Voice-toh finally aapne muje pehchaan liye mummyji
She scanned the kitchen counter& smirked on seeing a sharp knife nearby
Sanjana followed her gaze& widened her eyes in horror on realising what the girl was going to do

S-plz muje mat maaro
Im really sorry
Plz muje maaf kardo

Voice-kabhi nahi

In the next moment, she slits sanjana's throat with knife& left her dead in kitchen

Next day-

Relatives were mourning sanjana's death when avni peaped through door of room

Neil's chachi entered the house& felt that something was fishy-as if some evil spirit was haunting the house
She asked neil about avni

Neil avni kaha h?
Kahi dikh nahi rahi

N-chachiji abhi toh yahi thi
Shayad room men chali gayi hogi

Chachi goes in room& finds avni sleeping

Chachi-men jaanti hu tum avni nahi ho
Tumhare andar zarur kisi buri aatma ka saya h
Batao kon ho tum?
Mene pucha kon ho tum??

She gets up suddenly& chachi sees face of spirit

Chachi screams& people outside get worried

N-ye toh chachiji ki awaaz thi

Neil entered the room with prateek
Their gaze lands upon chachiji's dead body- her throat was also slit, just like sanjana

N-chachiji!
Avni?
Avni kaha ho?
Avni where are you?

A(screaming)-neil!
Neil plz muje bachao
Muje ek ladki ne washroom men band kar lia h

A-mitali plz muje jaane do
Plz muje chod do
Mene tumhara kya bigada h?

N(confused)-mitali?

Neil kept his thoughts asie& somehow opened the door of washroom& avni immediately clung to neil

N-avni kya hua?

A-neil wo mitali...

Neil moves his gaze but finds nobody& prateek is also confused

N-kaha h mitali?

A-neil...neil wo mitali hume alag karna chahti h
Plz muje chodke mat jao

N-haa men kahi nahi ja raha
Relax

In the next moment, avni fainted in neil's arms
Neil sighed on seeing avni's condition
After putting avni to sleep, neil came out of their room& found prateek standing silently, his back facing neil

N-dad ye sab kya hora h?
Pehle buaji achanak gayab hogyi& wo kaha h kisi ko nahi pata
Police bhi unhe nahi dhundh pa rahi
Phir mom ki kitchen men sudden death
Aaj subah chachiji ka murder& ab avni ko washroom men mitali dikhi
Aur ye chipkali ke saath kya hua tha& wo avni ke peeche kyu padi hui h?
Plz dad kuch toh boliye

P-tuje chipkali aaj bhi yaad h?

N-ji haa dad
Hum tab village men rehte they

Flashback-

N-chipkali ek low class family ki ladki thi& hum middle class they
Aur muje ye bhi yaad h ke bachpan men aap sabne meri& chipkali ki shaadi karvayi thi

P-haa
Tab tu 9saal ka tha& chipkali 7saal ki thi
Aur shaadi ki dowry men chipkali ke parents ne hume apni saalo ki income& jewellery de di thi& humne bhi unse wada kia tha ke jab chipkali 18saal ki hojayegi toh hum tum dono ki phirse shaadi kara denge taki sirf villages ki nazron men nahi balki tum puri tarah se husband wife ban jao

Flashback over

N-haa dad
Muje ye yaad h
Par 1 ya 2saal baad aapne mujse kaha tha ke chipkali ke parents ne shaadi se inkaar kar dia h kyuki unhe hmse bhi zyada well to do family ka proposal aaya h

P-haa
Kaha tha

Neil narrowed his eyes

N-dad kya aap mujse kuch chupa rahe h?

Prateek avoided eye contact& neil understood that prateek was indeed hiding something

N-dad plz boliye aap mujse kya chupa rahe h
Aap jaante h ke inti saari death hori h ghar men& avni ki jaan ko bhi khatra h

P-Haa beta
Mene tumse jhoot kaha tha

N-par kyu?

Flashback-

P-teri shaadi ke 1saal baad muje yaha Mumbai men ek acchi salary ki job mil gayi thi
Toh teri maa ne kaha ke hum chipkali jesi low class ladki ko bau kyu banaye& sheher ki hi kisi acchi educated ladki se teri shaadi karwaye
Aur teri dadi ne bola ke uski family ne hume dowry men zyada kuch nahi diya that oh hum bina kisi ko inform kiye wo village chod aaye& yaha Mumbai men settle hogye

Flashback over

P-par iske baad.....

N- iske baad kya hua dad?

P-phir hume pata chala ke humare jaane ke baad villagers ne chipkali& uski family ko bohot humiliate kiya
Unka village men jeena mushkil hogya
Wo jaha jaate, log unhe taunt karte
Ab chipkali ko koi family daughter in law accept nahi karna chahti thi kyuki uske parents ke paas kuch nahi bacha tha jo wo dowry men de sake

N-phir kya hua dad?

P-phir hume pata chala k eek raat chipkali ke parent ne chipkali& khudko ghar men jala kar maar dala

Neil was shocked to the core

N-ab tak muje lagta tha ke mene child marriage karke bohot bada crime kia h
Lekin muje khushi thi ke chipkali ki family ne uski shaadi ek better ghar men kara di h& muje iss crime ke liye maaf kar dia h

Par muje nahi pata tha ke men itne saalo tak ek misunderstanding men hoo
Aur isle liye aapka laalach (greed) responsible h
Aur ek acche bhali family ki khushiya& ek masoom ladki ki zindagi kharaab hogyi
Muje khudpe sharam aa rahi h dad
Im feeling disgusted

P-beta plz forgive me
Muje apni galati ka ehsaas h

N-par ab uss regret ka kya use dad?
Crime toh ho gya
Its too late
Aur ab mene decide kia h ke men iss ghar men nahi rahunga
Men kal hi avni ko leke Mumbai chod raha hu
Ab men aape saath nahi reh sakta kyuki aap logo k ek jhooth ne bohot saari lifes destroy kardi h

Neil left while Prateek felt guilty

AvNeil room-

Neil lay beside a sleeping avni

N-i wont let anything happen to you avu
We will leave India tomorrow itself

He caressed her hair& she snuggled into his chest
Soon he slept with avni in his arms

*****

Prateek was sitting in the drawing room, regretting his deeds when suddenly the main door of their bunglow opened
Prateek went to close it& when he turned, he found the same metal chest in which chipkali's family had given them all their savings
He was staring at the chest when suddenly the main door re opened& prateek felt a heavy kick on his back, making him fall on the floor at once

The chest opened on its own& out came bundles of cash- all of Rs 2000
Soon thhe cash captured prateek in a tornado, leaving him bewildered
He was trying to digest the sudden happenings when he saw chipkali's spirit in front of him

P-chipkali plz muje maaf kardo
Muje meri galti ka ehsaas h
Men maanta hu ke tumhare& tumhare parents ke saath jo kuch bhi hua uske liye men responsible hu
Par plz muje maaf kardo

He continued to ask for forgiveness but chipkali kicked him inside the huge chest& shut its cover

Neil suddenly sensed something wrong happening outside
He gently detangled himself from avni, making sure to not break her sleep& went outside

He saw prateek's body locked inside the chest- only his face was hanging outside
Neil also spotted a huge cut on prateek's neck which was bleeding- clearly showing that he was no more
He was still trying to digest this news when he saw avni coming out of the room& walking blankly- as if in sleep

N(frightened)-avu!!!
Avu ruko
Terrace ki taraf kyu jaa rahi ho

Avni didnt listen& he understood that chipkali's spirit had again possessed her
He at once followed her

Terrace-

Neil saw that chipkali had lifted avni by her neck while she was struggling to free herself from chipkali's hold

N(shocked)-avni!!!

A(suffocated)-ne...neil...plz...mu...muje...bachao

N-dekho chipkali avni ko chod do

C-kabhi nahi
Tum sirf mere ho& hume ek karne ke liye avni ka marna bohot zaruri h
Ab tumhe mujse shaadi karni hogi
Phir men tumhe bhi maar dungi& apne saath le jaungi-apni aatmao ki duniya men

N-ye nahi ho sakta kyuki tum mar chuki ho& meri shaadi ho chuki h
Ab avni meri biwi h& men usse bohot pyaar karta hu
Tumhare saath jo kuch bhi hua wo galat tha

Par itne saalo tak muje lagta tha ke tumhari family ne muje reject karke tumhari shaadi kisi aur bhi better family men kara di h
Par mujse jhoot bola gaya tha& iss sach ka muje aaj hi pata chala h
Par iss sab men avni ki koi galti nahi h toh plz usse chod do

C-ab kuch nahi ho sakta
Avni ko marna hoga
Meri bhi toh koi galti nahi thi& mujhe bina wajah saza mili
Pehle bachpan men hi shaadi hui& maut bhi
Aur ab iski saza tum& avni bhugtoge

She laughed evilly while avni was still struggling in chipkali's hold

Neil was still trying to convince chipkali to leave avni but she nodded negatively& continued to laugh
Suddenly his gaze moved towards a container of kerosene& matchbox kept behind chipkali, at a distance& something struck his mind

N(to himself)-bachpan men chipkali ko aag se bohot darr lagta tha
Bachpan men shaadi ke phere bhi usne bohot darr darr ke liye they
Shayad aaj bhi lagta ho
Men meri avu ko kuch hone nahi dunga

Why chipkali was busy laughing, neil slowly took steps backwards& got hold of the container& matchbox
He moved forward& splashed all the kerosene on chipkali, making sure that it doesnt splash on avni
Chipkali shouted in annoyance& her hold on avni's neck loosened, making avni fall by her stomach
She started to cough& starting catching her breath
Whereas chipkali saw neil lighting a matchstick

She nodded negatively& started taking steps backwards but neil didnt think for a second& threw it on cipkali while she screamed in pain as the flames of fire took over her spirit
Neil turned to face avni& saw her still coughing, though she was better than before
He at once ran to her& sat in front of her

N-avu tum theek ho?

Avni nodded positively, with a drained face while neil pulled her for a hug& rubbed her back to sooth her heavy breath

N-sshhh
Relax avu
Ab sab theek hojayega
He lifted her in bridal style& she clung to him as they saw chipkali's spirit turning into ashes
He took her downstairs where avni was shocked to see prateek laying in a pool of his blood

A-neilu ye papaji ko kya hua?
Aur buaji kaha h??
Mummyji ki death ke waqt bhi wo nahi dikhi

N-shayad chipkali ne sabse pehle unhe hi mara h& maa ko kitchen men
Jo hua so hua
Abhi tumhe rest ki bohot zarurat h toh sone chalo

AvNeil's room-

Neil put avni in bed& covered her with duvet
He lay beside her& started to caress her hair

N-sleep

A-par neil...

N-avu jo kuch bhi hua usse hum badal nahi sakte
Mom, dad& buaji ne sabse- especially mujse jhoot bola& unko unke kiye ki saza mili
Mene kal shaam ki tickets book kar li h

A(confused)-tickets?

N-hum kal hi India chod denge& USA men mere friend ne ek rented flat dhundh liya h
Ek baar jobs mil gayi & savings hogyi toh hum wo ghar khareed lenge ya khud dusra dhondh lenge

Avni was going to say something but neil sealed their lips& they found solace in eachother's embrace
Soon they slept, snuggled in eachother's arms
They shifted to USA& lived happily ever after
