I was remembering once I was a pup I used to play over these hills all the time and how my brothers would always cheat. I ran from hill to hill and as soon as I reached a certain hill I slowed my pace. I flicked my tail nervously. I realized very quickly that this is my past not just a memory I looked back and saw Kaylee and Akta. I flinched once I saw my brothers and how they looked once they were young.

I looked down at my paws and realized that I was my pup self again. No No NO NO NO NO this can't be happening. How have I never noticed this before. My brothers were being bullied at this time. So I transformed into my human form and ran down to help them.

I went between them and the bully who I quickly recognized as the fifth grade bully, Dirk. "letting your sister fight your battles" He laughed as two of his gang members came out. They both had a knife. "Well ask her how it feels to be beaten over and over again because you two don't know how to fight."

I laughed like a maniac. "Really you think I care that I am beaten in the place of my brothers" I said and suddenly I realized I messed up big time. Both of them came up to me at the same time but, instead of them going for my arms or legs they were aiming at my neck or stomach. I felt a knife perce my neck slicing it open.

I couldn't hear anything and I was struggling to breathe I finally heard voices but, I couldn't see anything and my sense of smell was much better. All the smells reminded me of a hospital. "Can we see her please" I recognized the voice and someone answered and said "yes".

"Is she alive" The person asked. I was trying to say yes or give a sign that I was alive but, I couldn't.

"We aren't sure the heart maneter isn't working and she has to weak of a pulse to tell if she's alive or not.

A deep voiced man started to talk to me in my mind They can't hear you right now....You have no heart beat.... You have no pulse... You are dead and if you want I can give you life if you surve me as a proxy. I know that I shouldn't but, I didn't even get to decide the past me was the one who got to decide. And her answer was Yes I just want to protect my brothers for a little longer.

Suddenly the maneter started working and my heart started pumping and my pulse came back. I knew this wasn't my life but, I had a purpose now. Only if I would have said no this would all be over. I wouldn't have meet Kaylee or Akta but, it would have been better.

I went on a search for Kaylee. I found her were I left her and Akta. "follow me" I was trying to hide my secrets but, My face was showing the fact that something was wrong. I never told anyone why I run from Masky more than anybody else. " Are you okay" Kaylee asked grupply.

"Yeah I'm fine" I said. I hope she don't ask anymore questions. I jumped back in the lake to make sure nobody was their at the moment. There was nobody to be seen. I signaled to Kaylee and Akta that we can get out. They followed me out of the lake. "Where do you guys want to go" I asked in a very distracted tone.

Suddenly I heard the deep voice in my mind again. Why are you running from family? Why are you running from us? I paused. I knew somebody said something but, I couldn't hear it. Come on Kenya I bring you back to life to protect your brothers. So why did you run from them? This pushed me over the edge "LEAVE ME ALONE" I yelled out loud.

I leaned on a tree and fell to the ground. I sighed and whispered "I know." I looked up once I heard my name. "What?"

"What's WRONG with you? Plus, I suggest NOT yelling. Cause' I'm pretty sure somebody followed us." Kaylee hissed. I thought for a moment. What is wrong with me. I don't know what's wrong with me. I looked around for people who could possibly be following us. I heard someone whisper something but, couldn't make out what they said.

"Kaylee, Akta" I whispered. They both looked at me. I looked at a tree and saw a person in it. "Back up slowly and don't make any sudden movements in tell I turn around, as soon as I turn around run." I said calmly.

I was still watching the person in the tree. I started to hear static. I felt the urge to run but, if we run now we will be caught. The static clouded all my thoughts but still fought back the urge to run. Then I saw what I was waiting for and turned around and just ran. I saw Kaylee run, but Akta stayed were we were.

I looked at her and she gave some sort of signal. Somebody landed right above me and tried to hit me in the back of the head. I quickly turned around and grabbed one of their arms as soon as I grabbed their arm the static got a whole lot louder. I couldn't hear anything I couldn't think and it got really dark. So dark I couldn't feel anything around me or see anything in front of me. I was numb, but somehow, I was feeling pain unlike any other.

My chest was in pain and I couldn't break free It was getting hard to breathe. I knew I wouldn't die though but, my thoughts took over. Why would I let my brother slip this far into the darkness..... I doubt they will want to leave their own darkness as I did.... What am I doing.... Why am I still alive... I was told my purpose is to protect my brothers and....

It became bright again but, blurry. I forgot my thoughts and looked around. I saw Akta but, I was tied up she wasn't. I felt very tight ropes.... Wait not ropes.... Chains. I was chained to the ground. I moved my arm and the chains zapped me. "What's going on Akta" I asked confused. She looked at me as I looked into her eyes she looked so sad.

I heard a very deep and familiar voice behind me. "Hi Kenya" I couldn't turn to look at the male behind me but, I knew who it was.

"Hi Masky" Akta walked up to me but, she stopped just out of reach. I was guessing Masky gave her a death glare or something.

"I'm sorry Kenya he threatened my siblings life" Akta whispered. I looked away and felt a shock go throughout my body. I ignored the pain. I started struggling against their chains. The chains kept zapping me. The chains were loosening.

I heard a snap behind me. "I know this something you don't want to hear masky but, the chains are loose" I heard Toby say.

"Well then tighten them" Masky said.

"No" said Toby. "Tell hoodie to do that for you." I got the chains off.

I stood up looked at Akta for a second. After I give her a death glare I ran towards the woods. I jumped over a bush and ran straight into Kaylee. I heard a little screech then she hit the ground.

I helped Kaylee up. Then I realized I wasn't the only one to hear her screech. "Kaylee we got to leave this spot" I said.

"Why they were arguing a minute ago" Kaylee said. I caught a glimpse of something sharp spiraling toward Kaylee. I jumped and pushed Kaylee out of the way. The sharp object skimmed down my back making a gigantic scar. Scarlett blood dropped to the floor as I stood up. I saw another sharp object pointed at Kaylee this time I grabbed her and set her down behind me.

The next sharp object looked like a syringe. It had blue liquid in it. I pushed Kaylee out of the way again. This time I moved to slow and the object scraped my back. It felt like I couldn't move but, I was forcing myself to keep moving.

"Kaylee get out of here" I whispered softly, my eyes were as sharp as thorns though. I started feeling numb. I was still dodging the sharp objects. Kaylee listened to me even though I new she wanted to stay here and help.

I ran the opposite way hoping that whoever it is (Hoodie). Would follow me but, I didn't sence any more sharp objects. Actually I couldn't sense anything. I paused for a second. I felt a sting of pain. I know that was hoodie as soon as I saw the syringe in my ankle. I pulled it out of my ankle. I felt even more tired. I know I couldn't fall asleep. I just wanted to get back to a normal school day.
