Chapter 1

Dialga sighed, looking at down at Everette. "This is terrible..." he murmured. "Why do the worshippers of Palkia have to be so... destructive?" He growled the last word as he took to the sky, flying towards the rip in the air he had made. "She should recover on her own if she's kept safe. I'll take her to my dimension." With that decision, he dove into his realm.

They emerged into a world of blue sparks and shadowy land masses. Everything around the dimension seemed to be resetting, plants growing and then falling, before instantly reverting to saplings. Fish Pokemon leaping out of pools, only to be sent back into the mystical water. In the middle, a large landmass that seemed to be frozen in time floated among the seas of blue. In the middle, a pool of sparkling black water shimmered and churned, the only thing moving on the still island.

The overwhelming aura of power emanating from the time dimension would have crushed most kinds of normal Pokémon. Ever, however, being a time sort of Pokémon, was able to withstand it better than most. Dialga floated lazily in circles her where she lay suspended in the realm, waiting for her to wake up from her slumber. He knew it would take some time, for she had suffered a huge injury, but he also conceded that she would wake before the day was done.. However, unbeknownst to Dialga, she was stuck in a dream.

| Everette giggled, looking around the forest of emeralds and green. The sky peeking through the foliage was a light baby blue, puffy marshmallow clouds streaking through the air. Everything was bright, beautiful, and full of life. "Wow! This is amazing!" She cheered as she flew above the canopy of leaves that seemed to be encased in peridots. The light green leaves sparkle when the sun bounced off the minuscule dewdrops that had taken up residence on the plants. The tree trunks were tall and magnificent, etched with drawings that the Celebi herself had made over the months she had lived in the forest. She looked out around the wide environment, marveling with wonder at its size and beauty. Suddenly, a strong psychic hold secured itself around her tiny body, and began pulling her to the ground. "Ah! Help!" She screamed desperately, but she was as alone as she could be in that forest, all except for her attackers, which of course would not help the Time Travel Pokémon.. A rusty Beheeyem was pulling her down, slowly, though he was making progress.. The same one, Everette noticed, that had been incinerated with flames by the god of time himself. Miena struck her down as fast as lightning with her ribbons, attacked her arms, and the Incineroar had that same menacing evil smirk on his face. However, this time, Dialga wasn't there to help the Celebi. He wouldn't be able to intrude on her own dream world, a fictional place that had turned into a nightmare.

"Ready to die, Everette?" The Incineroar snarled, his words full of menace and dark promise. "I promise to make it slow and painful." He cackled maniacally and drew his claws across her back slowly and in a controlled fashion.. The Celebi screamed in pain.

"Stop!" Ever sobbed, tears spilling from her eyes as the pain and sorrow overwhelmed her. The Incineroars grin widened by a considerable amount at her suffering, but as if he knew it was just a dream, he decided to end it there. "After you're dead!" he grinned and slit her neck with one quick swipe.

She couldn't breathe and she gasped for air, relief from the pain, something that would make it better as blood poured quickly from the ugly wound on her neck. Then suddenly, with no warning, she woke. |

"Help!" Ever screamed hoarsely as she opened her eyes. Dialga smiled softly to see that the one he had saved had awoken from her state of slumber.

"Child. You're awake," he said kindly.

In an area, presumably an underground chamber, a group of assorted Pokémon stood. At a pedestal stood an Alakazam, and a Seviper. Behind them, a large, tribal drawing was etched into the stones, glowing from the soft firelight of the torches.

"Our friendsssss were dessssstroyed by Dialga!" a Seviper hissed with menace, audible venom in his words.

"Protectors of Palkia, our time to act is now! We must destroy the Celebi that brought Dialgas wrath upon us!" an Alakazam shouted, rallying the large group of Pokémon slightly. He was wearing a magnificent pink crown, designed, in perfect likeness, like the wing of Palkia.

"Yesssss... for Palkiasssss accccceptancccccce and praissssse," the Seviper added, grinning that he would soon be able to get vengeance for his friends.

"King Scale and I will journey to find that Celebi..." the Alakazam murmured with a mischievous smirk.

"And dessssstroy her!" King Scale shouted. With that, the chamber was ablaze with chants of glory for Palkia and vengeance for the three they lost.

"Together, we will overthrow Dialga!" the Alakazam screamed, anger etched onto his facial features as he rallied the group of Palkia worshippers.

"Child, you will be safe," Dialga said, though truly, he was worried for the Celebi.

Ever was struggling to breathe. The powerful aura from Dialgas dimension was overwhelming her, and she found it hard to keep her eyes open.

"Just keep pushing through it. You'll get used to it soon," the god of time urged. Soon enough, Everette's breathing, albeit shallow, had steadied into a calming routine that never faltered or deviated from its original beat.

"Why... am I here..?" Everette croaked, her voice hoarse from the small lack of air. She could still breathe, but the air felt tight and cold to the Celebi.

"I saved you, child. You are in my dimension," the legendary dragon type explained calmly. He was silent after he talked to male sure that Everette was still breathing correctly.

"Why..." she said softly.

"Why, what?" Dialga asked, slightly bemused by her general unwillingness to move and behavior. She wasn't acting completely astounded to be in that sea of blue, nor in the presence of Dialga. He assumed she was acting the way she would normally.

"Why did you save me..?" Everette asked, her voice barely inaudible, though she knew, from the look on the legendary Pokemons face, he had heard.
