Was I truly so hideous
that you couldn't bare it
if I stayed?

the hurt you caused?
Do you feel that? Is it
satisfaction or remorse?

Do you remember all of
the names you called me?
At times, I wonder just
why I can still hear them
constantly...

Do you remember how
much you made me question
the very fact that I exist?
Is bullying really making
you sneer with bliss?

Do you remember how
I stood in front you, all
alone with an approachable
smile on my chocolate
brown face? Yet you all
looked at me as if I was
taking up space.

I smirk into my horizon
as the school gates close
for December. I forgive
but I'll never forget... Do
you remember?
