Raven

"Are we there yet?" I asked as I  looked out the window, trying to guess where the party building was. All I have to look for is a fancy house, the building with the loudest noise on the street, and a place where more cars than usual are parked with teenagers spurting in and out.

Oh and the place that I certainly don't like and want to be right now.

My description probably sucks but that's as much as a non-party goer could give.

"Almost Rv, so chill the fuck out" She sounds almost annoyed, I wouldn't blame her though.

"Olie, I know I'm bitching a lot-" I start but she cut me off rolling her eyes

"-a lot's a little word to describe how much you're bitching right now, I mean what's up, it's just a party"

I sighed as I continued "I know but I see no use in me coming, you'd have just come alone, me coming makes no difference right?" I pause, looking out the window, avoiding looking into her blue mesmerizing orbs, suddenly feeling self-conscious as I play with my fingers

"And what if he's there?" My voice was barely above a whisper but loud enough for her to hear and I know she did as she grabbed my chin making me look at her smiling slightly

"It makes a difference as I'm coming with my best friend in the world and who else will I talk to there?" She asked as she hugged me and as I hugged her back, I wanted to reply; 'your co-cheerleaders, seniors, and other popular students because I know they'll all be there' instead I kept my mouth shut as she spoke up again, breaking the hug.

"And I won't let him ever come close to you speak more of hurting you, he's an asshole Raven and I swear even if he has the balls to lay a finger on you, I'll hit his balls so hard, they'll turn blue. Besides, I think he has an eternal reminder of our last meeting, thanks to yours truly" she said with humor as she pointed at herself and winked at me.

A small smile played on my lips as I remembered the way Olie had some boys beat the shit out of him. He got so hurt, he missed 2 weeks of school.

Yup, that's what my best friend can do.

"Cheer up baby girl" she dabbed the little tears forming and threatening to spill from my eyes and ruin the makeup she spent forever on. "And it's a must for me to come to this party because I'll be hosting the next one, next week or so" a full-blown smile on her face as I stared at her in horror.

Oh, God!! Who the hell made this 'host-party-thing' arrangement??

Way to ruin the moment Olivia.

Ugh, so now I'll be attending another party anytime soon.

How fucking great. Just perfect Raven.

"Aww, see your face like you just saw a damn ghost. But don't worry, you don't have to attend that one"

Really?

"Really?" I asked with hope radiating off me as she burst into a fit of laughter.

Of course, she found it funny.

Raven the fucking clown.

"Of course not, don't be silly. It's a must for you to come" she said as she hooked our arms "Oh, we're here already" she muttered, making me look out the window at the big house staring back at me.

Yup, definitely what I predicted.

I could hear the music blasting and some drunk teenagers outside. Some were talking, some making out, closest to having sex while some were already passed out on the ground. I rolled my eyes at the sight.

Typical high school party.

The party started like what? An hour or so ago.

"Are you gonna come down or keep an eye fucking the building?" I roll my eyes again but this time at her choice of words making her giggle, but I still alighted the cab.

The cold night air slapped me across the face once I got out, swaying my flat-ironed hair along with it. I tucked some strands behind my hair, contemplating tying it up when it constantly kept coming onto my face. 

"So what now?" I asked bluntly, making her roll her eyes at me.

"Sometimes I wonder how on Earth I got stuck with you as a best friend".

Shrugging, I replied "Consider yourself one lucky piece of ass" I winked at her for effect, making her roll her eyes again.

"What's up now is us getting into that damn party and having fun" she stated replying to my previous question.

"Woah, woah, woah. Having fun as in getting wasted? Um... No thanks, I'll pass. I'd rather sit out here and enjoy nature" I replied as if suddenly interested in nightlife and cosmos.

She raised an eyebrow at me, giving me that 'seriously Raven?' look, knowing I'm not even a big fan of nature. "C'mon Rv, it's just for the heck of it, no biggie, and besides I'd not recommend you staying out here alone. I'm too young to be an aunty" she said flat out like it meant nothing and maneuvered her way to the door.

I became horror-struck, my entire body in alarm as the meaning of what she said sank in.

I'm too young to be a mother. I haven't graduated high school, gone through college, gotten a decent job, or gotten married.

Hell, I don't even have a boyfriend!!!!

I looked around rapidly, sirens blaring in my head before speed walking, making an itinerary line to the door Oli entered through.

I tried making this chapter long enough tho and I'll try to update better.
