People say that the pain is worth it when you love someone so much.

But is that person really worth all the pain and suffering?

To invest so much in them that it hurts you so much because they wouldn't really do the same for you.

To compare yourself with other people because you feel like you're not enough for them.

To try so hard to prove your worth to them but they decide not to think much about it and just walks over you like a doormat?

To end up thinking there's something wrong with you and feel the need to change and fix you when there's nothing wrong, nothing to change and nothing to fix.

To always feel like you're a second option.

A plan B.

A side piece.

Someone who will always come last.

To end up coming to the conclusion that no matter what you do, no matter how far you go, no matter how many times you have to change, make adjustments and fix yourself, you're not worthy of love.

Not from the person you love and care for.

Not from anyone general.
