Entry 49

Let's talk about the Adam Levine situation.

So we all know that a woman was taken away by security for getting on stage to hug Maroon 5's vocalist while he was performing and HE WASN'T HAVING IT. And people got mad.

yOUr fAns gOt yOu wHeRe yOu aRe sO yOu sHoULd bE gRatEfUl.

🤨

Last time I checked, him along with many other celebrities have the right to space and do not like to be touched unconsensually.

Underneath all that fame and money, he's still a person.

And he's married for crying out loud! Of course he wouldn't like it if a random woman he don't know touched him. And ya'll are lucky that she didn't get her ass kicked off the stage literally.

This is why para social relationships are dangerous and the many reasons I want to just enjoy the content and not fall in love with the artists.

Yes. I simp for every hot celebrity I see but falling in love with someone I will never meet nor be acquainted with is a line I will not cross 🙅🏽‍♀️.

As supportive fans are to their idols they can be a threat and a danger to them as well.

We already have crazy sasaengs/stalkers breaking in and doing almost everything to invade a celebrity's life.

Correct me if I'm wrong but a sasaeng broke into Monsta x Shownu's room and took pictures of him shirtless while he was asleep and leaked them on the freaking internet in 2019.

There were some fans who literally camped at Justin Bieber's place and one of them had the AUDACITY to ask for a hug when he was telling them that it's his house and he wants privacy. And people were on his ass for being rude to fans. 🤨

We have fans who will go to such lengths of destroying these celebrities lives by creating lies and harass them.

Like what happened with former SKZ Woojin, AOA Jimin and WayV Lucas and many other celebrities.

Hell! We have fans who go as far as killing these celebrities.

Like when got shot by a crazy fan Christina Grimmie at the end of her concert back in 2016.

Beyoncé and Jay Z would have gotten attacked by a fan by the end of their concert if their dancers hadn't stopped the mofo.

We should normalize celebrities putting their foot down, calling out their fans on their behaviour and setting boundaries for themselves. They may be rich and famous but they got rights as humans as well.
