Let's talk about the Kris Wu situation.

As erbody already knows, Kris is facing SA allegations after Du Meidzu came forward with claims engaging in sexual relationships with her and seven others (two of them being minors), along with evidence. And obviously he's denying these allegations and claimed that he's never associated with them (ya'll can look it up and find out more about this). And of course this is not looking good on him at the moment.

If there's something I've learned from the Woojin situation is that we should not be quick to pick a side the moment these things pop up coz the last thing we need is pointing fingers at the wrong people so the best and safest way is staying neutral until we have all the information. We're still yet to get more evidence and hear more from the victims if they're ready and willing to get into depth with their experience with Kris. Not to forget, we don't know if either side is telling the truth. It's either the girls are making this stuff up to tarnish and destroy Kris's career or Kris is abusing his status to get away with it coz he has the assurance that no matter what people are going to defend.

If these allegations come out as false, I will be disappointed because it's people like then that makes it hard for ACTUAL victims to speak up or taken seriously when they come forward about their experiences with SA. And that is not okay.

However, if these allegations are proven to be true I'll be disappointed but not surprised.

People should really stop putting these celebrities on high pedestals and paint them as these perfect flawless people and be detached from them all together. We don't know these people. They only show us what they want us to see. Look what happened to R-Kelly, Seungri, AOA Jimin.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, media can be used as a tool to push certain agendas and propaganda and it can destroy a person's life. I'm a university studying media and covered issues pertaining to media in sociology back when I was in high school. I don't trust most of the stuff that pops up on my news feed be it on Google, YouTube or any other social media because the media is and ideological state apparatus, a tool used to control the masses. Not to forget we live in an age where the internet and media is dominant and where people can just create fake news and forge fake evidence and shit. So we gotta be careful.

And if we're going to be realistic or not, I doubt if Kris will recover from this even if he comes out as innocent coz his reputation is already damaged as it is at the moment. I could be wrong tho.
