I have come to the conclusion that y/n and every other female lead character in stories both fanfiction and original fictional are homewreakers.

Here me out.

So I know most of ya'll have read books and fanfiction where y/n meets the male lead and they start having chemistry but they can't be together because the Male lead is already in a relationship/married to the second female lead but decides to to breakup with them to be with y/n?

Yes that. That basically makes y/n a homewreaker.

How tho?

We're talking about a mafucka who was probably with the second female lead for years and suddenly when y/n comes into the picture, he suddenly realises that this ain't it and chase after y/n.

The only reason why y/n isn't seen as such is because of plot armour. It's either the second female lead is a controlling toxic heifer or that she cheated on the male lead.

If the roles were reversed where the second lead is the homewreaker, the readers would have been on her ass be dragged across the floor like how Beyoncé dragged Becky with the good hair with all kinds of slander.

I've never seen or read a book where y/n is actually viewed as a homewreaker without the second lead being toxic or being a cheater. Unless there are. Then by all means leave a comment.
