Aight. Let's be real and serious about something.

So I was browsing through my emails to check for some junk until I stumbled up a page on quora that said: is Taehyung sick of being an idol? Or did he become arrogant? Is something bothering him?

And obviously that made me feel a certain typa way. So I went on there to see people's responses and their opinions about the whole thing.

There were some answers that made sense especially in regards to how Tae's life as an idol has taken a toll on his personal life and how he has goals he wants to achieve but can't do so because of his status as an idol. He can't even date with out any immature delulu fans getting on his ass about it like any kpop idol would do.

But I was really glad that there are people who pointed out that we as the fans don't know him or any of the members on a personal level to be analysing or making assumptions about what goes on in their lives and what they're feeling. And I strongly agree with that.

We don't know the boys or any kpop idol as well as we lead ourselves to believe. They only give us what they want us to see. I mean yes, bts have always been honest and genuinely for the longest time but that's probably the a small percentage of it.

And I'm not saying that they're faking it, I'm just saying that they're being careful about how much of the truth they're willing to share to the public because there's no telling what the public will do with such information.

Tae received hate from antis after he opened up about his grandmother's passing. People were clowning Jimin and making r*pe jokes just because he cried on stage last year. People were petitioning Chen to leave Exo after he announced his engagement and his wife's pregnancy.

You see where I'm going with this?

We can't always make assumptions about a person we don't know personally and draw conclusions about their character based on what we see. You may think that something is bothering Tae while he's probably thinking about buying more Gucci. Or people having that Jungkook is scared of girls because he's shy when it could be because the last time he was around a girl, there were dating rumours circulating about him and said girl and people were harassing her online and almost lost her job over it

I personally do my best to be as detached from these people as possible because I don't know them like that and I know my place. I don't really follow into news pertaining to their personal life. I just enjoy their music and their shenanigans on bts run.

I just think the kpop fandom should do better especially in issues like this. These people sacrifice a lot for us and we should do the same. I would want these idols to actually have a personal life outside of their career instead living in constant fear or feeling like they're not allowed to have one. And I for one would want them to marry and have families.
