Let's talk about the Woojin situation.

For those who don't know, Kim Woojin was a former member of a kpop group under JYPE, Stray Kidz, who left the group October last year for personal reasons and had be pursuing a solo career sometime early this year I believe 🤔.

So recently there's been news of an anonymous  tweet pertaining allegations against him for sexual assault.

The tweet mentioned that he abused his status as an idol to get his way with ladies (foreign ladies to be specific) at some club and get busy with them. They said no and he didn't take that well. And some ladies on Twitter have been coming forward and confirming such claims.

And of course people take the news as face value and are already cancelling him. Burning his wallpapers, shredding them. You name it.

We already have people calling him Woojail😂.

And it doesn't stop there. We had oli london coming into his defence with a video. And the dislike ratio and the comments section tho. Holy shit.

From what oli said in his video the only valid point he made was that we can't be accusing someone based on a tweet. That's it. I wasn't exactly paying attention to what he was talking about after that.

But Chang. Oli London could be defending him just for clout and because he's a Korean.

I. Do. Not. Care. Whether he is or not I'll just leave him be.

I personally am not buying the whole thing honestly because there has been so many instances where people just make up such claims and allegations to ruin a person's reputation and career and destroy their lives. For all we know this could be a troll. I ain't the type of person to easily believe any form of claim coming from any random source. So until it is confirmed by JYPE, the police and Woojin himself, this whole scandal is just a rumour to me.

However there is one issue that can and probably already has him cancelled and that's the issue pertaining him mistreating and bullying the other members of Stray Kidz.

He can probably get off easily with the sexual assault allegations. But the bullying and mistreatment of the other members of Skz? Not some much because there is evidence from videos from Skz's fan meetings, interviews, award ceremonies, you name it.

I had look at them so I can assess and observe his interactions with the other members and they seem legit. And I could see how uncomfortable they were around him. It's really sad honestly.

And I just found that he lied about being in some company promoting his solo career.

Interesting it's been ten months since he left the group and he hasn't released any song or demos heck even a mixtape. Suspicious 🧐🧐🧐🧐.

I even went to check out his Instagram but it's gone. Hmmmmm🧐🧐🧐🧐.

So what's my take on this?

I'm surprised to know that the type of person he really is. Heck I'm disappointed that he let his fans down with his actions. And the whole thing about him leaving Skz for personal reasons could be bullshit and the real reason could be that he was actually kicked out.

I don't hate the guy because:

a) I only got into stray kids some time after he left so I don't really know him enough to actually hate him.

b) I just don't have the time and energy to waste hating him because it ain't worth it.

Do Stray Kidz deserve justice?

Hell yeah they do. Especially after putting up with him for so long. But spreading hate and cancelling him ain't the way to bring justice to Skz. Karma already did its work. No need to add more fuel to the fire.
