Nico's POV

It was a hot day even the protective border around the camp couldn't keep the heat out. Apollo hated us today or some crap. Anyways it was hot so I was swimming earlier. Right now I was walking along the shoreline, letting the cool water hit my feet and letting the sun dry me off since I was still dripping wet. I had my shoes in my hand and my shirt slung over my shoulder, I didn't need my hair soaking it.

As I neared the forest I heard a lot of yelling. Sounded joyful and stuff but I still felt like checking it out.

"Connor! Death charge on Death!" What sounded like Travis yelled.

I was confused until two sprays of water hit me right in the face. My shirt was now drenched and my hair was yet again plastered to my face.

"Really guys?" I groan. "I was just drying off."

"Then you came into our water gun battle territory." Connor says, hoping out from behind a tree.

"Yeah we got 13 people on this team and 14 on the other. Ya wanna join us?" Travis grinned.

I sigh. "Might as well. Lemme go put my stuff away." I say, reffering to my shoes and shirt, before jogging back to my cabin.

Travis' POV

"This is gonna be awesome!" Connor grinned before kissing me.

I happily kissed back. "Yeah I know, and with Nico on our team we're sure to win."

After another minute or so Nico came back and I tossed him a water gun. Leo and a couple other Hephaestus campers helped modify them and installed one of those never emptying cups in them so we never had to reload.

"Oh and wear this so they know what team your on." I say and hand him a blue bandana, which we tucked into our shorts.

Nico on the other hand tied it around his head, yet under his bangs. Connor giggles and ruffled his hair.

"You don't have to wear it like that." Connor smiles.

"It keeps most of my hair out of my face so why not." Nico shrugged. "Now are we gonna soak some bitches or not?" He grinned.

I grinned too. "Hells yeah boys. Let's go!" I shout and we head out into the woods.
