Confrontation (Minseoks POV)
I ended up taking a job up for Luhan. I don't work in a store or anything like that, I just tutor elementary kids for some cash. Even though it's not a lot, it's still something. I made sure Luhan got all the money that I earned.
Luhan on the other hand looked more better every day that went past. At least he was getting some sort of sleep, and was eating whenever he could. I would usually give him my lunch but he would mostly decline when I did so.
I walked to school with both Luhan and Kris. Luhan would meet Kris and I at Kris' apartment before heading to school everyday and we would just walk together. Once reaching school all of us were confused because we were met by our teacher who was outside, watching us all walk towards the school.
When we finally approached her, she was looking at me, waiting to talk to me but I knew Luhan and Kris wouldn't leave me alone with her. "What is it, Mrs?" I ask, trying to sound as polite as possible. Can't I just get to class peacefully and get on with the day?
The teacher glanced at both Kris and Luhan with a confused expression on her face, kind of like she was questioning why they were still standing beside me and that they should head into school. "It's okay Mrs, they can stay" I reassure her. Whatever she had to tell me, they can hear it.
"Your parents called the school today, Minseok." Was the first thing she said which instantly got Kris, Luhan and I all glancing at each other with slight worried expressions on our faces. "They told me they've been trying to get in contact with you for days but can't reach you" she continues to say and I instantly look down at my feet to hide my facial expression.
"The thing is..." I start saying, still looking at the floor. I couldn't think of an excuse on the spot. Debating on what I should say was contemplating in my mind.
The teacher interrupted my train of thoughts before explaining "your parents are in the office, waiting to see you. I was told to direct you there, okay Minseok?" My teacher says and I nodded, knowing I didn't really have much say in anything.
"Fine, if Minseok is going then I'm going with him." Luhan speaks, looking at the teacher seriously. I knew just by the tone of Luhan's voice he wasn't going to take no for an answer.
"This is a family matter, Luhan. You can not join the conversation." The teacher tries to explain but Luhan kept pestering the teacher, saying he was following me in.
It got to the point where the teacher was tired of arguing with Luhan and turned around and directed us into the school. Luhan, Kris and I all followed behind her where she was bringing us to the office.
Once reaching the closed door to the office, all four of us stood outside the door. The teacher's gaze directed towards both Kris and Luhan who were now expected to leave. Kris looked at both Luhan and I before saying "I'll head to class, you guys can update me later." He says, patting me on the shoulder for reassurance before heading down the hall.
The teacher then looked at Luhan, wanting him to follow after Kris, but like expected Luhan didn't move from his spot. The same serious expression was still portrayed on his face. I'd have to give it to Luhan. Whenever he wants something, he will do anything to get it. I know that for a fact.
The teacher sighed, knowing another argument would irrupt if she tried telling Luhan to leave again so she left him alone, I guess expecting the principal to deal with him once he entered the room with me.
"Both of you come to class when you're done in there." She says before walking down the hall in the same direction Kris had walked in before.
I looked at Luhan once more, my heart was pounding so fast it felt like it was about to burst out of my chest. I hate this, I don't want to talk to my parents about why I have left. It's just going to create more drama and tension between us, but I guess I would have to face them sooner or later to talk about the issue.
Luhan could tell how stressed I looked and put his hand on my arm. "It'll be okay Minseok, I'm here" he reassures me and I slightly smiled, nodding to Luhan before grabbing the doorknob and opening the door.
Once Luhan and I entered the room, Luhan closed the door behind him and everyone in the room looked at Luhan confused on what he was doing here. "Luhan, what're you doing here, we have only called for Minseok, you can go to class." The principal explains, looking at Luhan confused.
"I'm not going back to class, I'm staying here with Minseok." Luhan explains in a stern tone, trying to sound as serious as possible so they knew he wasn't leaving.
The principal was about to say something, probably along the lines as it's none of his business and that he should leave, but I didn't want to face this alone. Having Luhan here right now was giving me the confidence to face my parents. I interrupt what the principal was about to say by saying "I'm leaving if Luhan does."
Everyone staid quiet for a second or so, looking like they were contemplating on what to do. The principal let out a little sigh before looking at both my parents who were sitting in chairs in front of his desk. "Are you two alright with him being here?"
"We don't even know this kid" my mother starts off with saying, sounding offended that the principal would even suggest he stay.
"He's my boyfriend" I blurt out, not intending to, but it just slipped out of my mouth unintentionally.
"Boyfriend?" All three adults repeat at the same time like they were in sync. I could instantly feel my face heating up out of embarrassment. I shouldn't have said that...not to mention I indirectly outed Luhan as well.
I glanced at Luhan but he didn't seem affected that I had just outed him to the people standing before us. For that matter, he didn't even look embarrassed in the slightest. He proudly grabbed my hand, holding it in his own as he entwined fingers with me. "We're dating, I want to be here for my boyfriend and support him." Luhan says in a smile which got my heart pounding for a whole different reason other than embarrassment.
"Is this who you've been staying with ever since you ran away from home?" My dad questions, looking at me concerned.
My mom let alone looked tuned out into her own world. I could hear her say to herself "my sons gay?"
"No, I haven't been staying with Luhan. I've been staying with my friend Kris." I explain to the both of them, but it still looked like my mom wasn't paying attention to anything I was saying because she was caught up in the fact that I was dating another male.
The principal looked at both of us seriously before questioning "does anyone else in the school know about this? About you two?"
"No, we haven't told anyone" Luhan answers the principal's question.
"Good..." The principal starts off with saying, saying it faintly to himself before looking at my parents and saying "you can talk to him now if you want...I guess Luhan isn't leaving either."
My mother let out a deep breath before explaining "we want you moving back in with us, Minseok."
"No, I'm not moving back in with you guys! You guys make me feel bad about myself!" I explain, jeez just talking about it makes me emotional. I can feel the tears starting to form in my eyes.
"Oh, so we're the bad guys because we want you to be healthy?" My mother questions, now furrowing her eyebrows.
"You're not making me healthy by neglecting me in every sort of way just because I'm overweight. You should support me to loose weight if you want me too. Not push me out of your life and make me feel horrible for being the way I am." I explain, I couldn't hold it in anymore, a single tear started to stream down my face now.
My parents had no comeback. An awkward silence was being left in the room before my mother says "fine, if you don't want to come back home then we don't want you being a part of our lives anymore. If you're going to live your life in such a disgusting way, being fat and on top of that, you're now gay as well?"
"I've always been gay" I reply but it was like she ignored what I had said.
"If you continue being this way, we will not continue paying for your schooling here, Minseok." My mother threats like that would change anything.
"I can pay for it myself." I say to her, now getting a little angry that she wasn't listening to anything I was saying. That's exactly like my mom, always only wanting things her way.
The principal looked from me to my parents before asking "aren't you going to tell him what happened?"
I shot a glance at the principal with a confused expression on my face, raising one eyebrow in question. "What happened?" I repeat in a puzzled tone.
My mother let out a deep breath once again. She turned her head away from me so she didn't have to look at me anymore. My father was still looking at me though, so I'm guessing it was his turn to speak. His contained himself before saying "Minseok... we needed to talk to you again not only for this reason...but also to tell you...that your grandmother has past away."

Hey guys, thanks for being so patient with these updates, it means a lot. I want you guys to decide how this fan fiction is going to end (because it's going to end soon.) Do you want it to end with Minseok not losing weight, or do you want it to end with him losing the weight? You choose and then I'll decide how I want to end it.
