Mal
"So where is this wand?" Fang asked.
"Based on what I saw, it's at this huge mansion in the woods." I said.
"Well, then it can't be that hard to find, can it?" Max asked.
"Actually," Scarlet said. "when you think about it, it can be that hard. Like taking over an entire planet hard."
"Oh!" Cinder said, waving her hand dismissively. "Taking over Luna wasn't that hard!"
Kai rolled his eyes. "So where do we start?"
"Ask the locals. Duh!" I said, walking over to Emma and Regina.
"Hi, quick question. Is there a mansion in the woods?" I asked.
Emma and Regina shared a look. "Why? Do you have any evil plans?"
"Why does everyone think that!?" I asked as I saw a flash of Regina, Emma, Rumpelstiltskin, Snow, David, and Belle walking into a house. In front of them was the wand. Emma and Regina lunged for it, but then it disappeared. "That was a decoy you idiots!" Said a voice. "The real wand is at Emma's apartment! But you guys won't get to see it!" Then it faded.
"Never mind. I need access to your apartment." I said, directly at Emma.
"Why?"
"I believe something of mine wound up there. I would like to take a look around. If you don't mind of course."
Emma sighed. "Go ahead. Do you need the key? It's just down the block so it wouldn't be so hard for me to-"
"No. It's okay. Stay here. What's the address?"
"10th Avenue, 710."
"Thank you."
"Um, welcome." Emma said as I walked back to everyone.
"Change of plans. No mansion, we're going to the apartment of Emma Swan."
"Oh! Wait!" Emma said, walking up to us. "A, it's a house, not an apartment. B, are Henry and Killian okay? We haven't heard from at least one of them since Fang's latest blog post."
"They're fine Emma." I said as we all walked out and ran towards 10th Avenue.
"Mal! Here it is! 710 10th Avenue!" Winter yelled.
I ran over to her. "Good job Winter." I said, then yelled to everyone else. "Does anyone have a bobby pin? Or at least a paperclip? I can use both!"
Cinder and Ben walked over with paperclips.
"Why do you need these?" Ben asked as I walked up to the house. Then I stopped.
"What's wrong?" Cinder asked.
"We're going to Mary Margaret's apartment." I said, walking away.
"Why?"
"It's not in there. Mary Margaret's apartment is number 3. Let's go."
I ran to the apartments and knocked on the door. David answered.
"Hey Mal. What's going on?" He asked. I felt a magic buzz in the room.
"Do you mind if we come in. I believe that something of mine is in here." I said.
"Why would it be in here?" He asked.
"I can feel it's magic. Can I please come on?"
"Sure. Just don't wake up Neal."
"Of course." I said as we all went in. "Okay," I said, looking at my troops. "Nobody mess up anything in here unless I say so. I should be able to find it by sensing it's energy." I started walking around the apartment until I felt a buzz near the stairs.
"And now I command, wand to my hand." I quietly chanted under my breath. The wand popped up, coming out of this little chest with blankets in it. It went quietly into my hand as if it was always there.
"Excuse me, but is that normal?" David asked.
"For her?" Ben asked, then responded. "Sadly, yes. Yes, it is normal."
"Um, Ben, can we talk upstairs real quick?" I asked. Ben followed me to what I think is David and Mary Margaret's bedroom.
"What's going on?" He whispered.
"I got another power." I said.
"What is it?"
"Seeing into the future."
"That's how you knew the wand wasn't at that mansion, wasn't it?"
I nodded.
"Did you develop any more, you know, besides that and the stopping and moving things power?"
"I managed to block my mind off from other people."
"Like, from reading it?"
"Yeah. I'm scared."
"Of what?"
"My new powers. I'm not used to them. I'm scared."
Ben hugged me. "It'll be okay Mal. Just don't let the power consume you."
"Easy for you to say." I said as David walked up.
"Um, sorry to interrupt, but you guys may want to know that a group of electric children are destroying the town."
Ben sighed. "Duty calls."
"Yeah." I said. Ben cupped my face in his hands.
"Look. You'll be fine."
"Um, guys, you're friends are already down there, so you better hurry." David reminded us.
"Right! Come on! Let's go!" I said running down the stairs.
