"Cupcake—"

She dropped to her knees and looked as though her world had been shattered by that one word. She screamed and cried uncontrollably without saying anything. She smashed the phones that belonged to her and Taehyung next to her and covered her face with her palm as she sobbed.

Taehyung remained stunned in place. He was unable to comprehend what was going on until he saw his phone next to Bora's. He was brought back to reality.

His heart shattered into a million pieces when he knelt down in front of Bora and saw the girl sobbing unceasingly.

He was no longer able to control himself. He sat properly on the floor and pulled the sobbing girl into his arms. Bora didn't struggle either. She was too preoccupied with her thoughts to notice the person she was embracing.

If she would notice herself reliving the warmth of the person who was the exact reason for her tears and grief, she would resent herself.

Taehyung remained silent out of concern that the girl would abandon him. He tried to keep his emotions under control as he continued to gently stroke her hair.

When he felt Bora's tears wetting his t-shirt, his eyes also began to well up. Because he was the cause of all her tears and sadness, he couldn't help but feel miserable.

He could not stop reflecting on how his life could alter in a single day. After he went to Yoongi's studio, he heard the song after it was edited by Yoongi himself. He gleefully declared that after the song was published, he would go on a date with Bora and confess everything.

Unnoticed, a tear from his right eye fell across Bora's neck, jolting her back to reality. She pushed Taehyung a little harder, making him shout in agony as he fell on his right hand from losing his balance. However, he felt as though pain had entered his heart when he observed Bora's face.

Her nose was running, her eyes were bloodshot red, her cheeks were smeared with fresh and dry tears, her hair was stuck to her face, and she appeared rather disheveled, but she couldn't give a damn about how she looked right now.

Taehyung hesitantly muttered, "Cupcake, please listen to me," allowing the tears to finally flow freely from his eyes now.

"No, you listen to me. Don't ever message me and stay away from my life." She spoke while sniffling and then stood up, briefly losing her balance but quickly regaining it.

Taehyung too stood up and tried to hold her, but she grabbed all her belongings before walking out of the studio. The fact that she didn't even spare him a glance before leaving stung him the most.

OMG! I hated to write this chapter. Too much angsty it was *sigh*
