Namjoon, Jimin, and Jungkook sat on the couch. All three of them were tired after trying and checking on what they wanted to wear for the upcoming fan signing event. Now it was the time for Yoongi, Taehyung, Hoseok, and Jin to follow suit.

The three of them were seated on the couch. Namjoon and Jungkook were scrolling through their social media feed while Jimin sat down between them, doing the same.

Taehyung had set his phone on the coffee table in front of the couch. Namjoon noticed Taehyung's screen flashing up continuously. The other two turned to look at him as he shifted forward to peek at Taehyung's phone.

Namjoon was astonished to read the texts from the Wattpad Author when he opened Taehyung's phone. Jungkook stood up from his seat and sat on the sofa handle while Jimin scooted closer to Namjoon. The two of them sandwiched Namjoon to peep into Taehyung's phone.

Namjoon kept scrolling up and felt his heart ache when he saw Taehyung hadn't even replied to any of the messages. He turned to look at the other two and saw them already gazing at him with sad eyes.

"I made a huge mistake. Was I being too harsh on him?" Namjoon inquired humbly before putting Taehyung's phone back on the table and sighing later.

"You weren't wrong, Hyung. He would have hurt himself either way." Jimin spoke calmly and caressed Namjoon's back with a weak smile, not wanting the elder to feel guilty.

"How can the two of you be so selfish? Did you see him being happy even for a day? He is being too formal with us." Almost shouting, Jungkook stood up and moved in front of them. He proceeded while facing Namjoon, "Namjoonie hyung, you surely did wrong. I want to see him happy and I can clearly notice he isn't. Please make this right."

After reading the texts and hearing Jungkook, Namjoon felt terrible about his actions and words.

"Jiminie hyung, I was jealous because I was the one who learned about the Author first and I kind of liked her because of her stories. But that doesn't mean I won't let Taehyungie hyung be happy. If I approve of his happiness with her, why is it bothering you both?"

The abrupt outburst of the maknae left Jimin and Namjoon's mouths hanging open. They continued to stare at him until Taehyung returned to the drawing room after changing his clothes.

"Hyung, how do I look in this?" He glanced at his outfit and asked. The looks on the other three's faces altered as they turned to face him.

"You look great, Tae. Bora will like you."

He froze as his leader casually brought up the girl in particular. His heart started thumping at an abnormal pace, and his mind went blank.

Namjoon grinned at the other's expressionless face as he approached him. "You have proved to all of us that we matter more to you than anyone. I feel lucky to have you as my younger brother. But I can't see you sad. She is coming to the fan signing, so please respond to her messages and get back to normal."

Taehyung's eyes widened because he was aware that the author was going to come since he had read all her messages. However, he was confused about how Namjoon would learn about it. When he noticed Jungkook waving and holding Taehyung's phone, he got the answer.

"Hyung, I don't think she would talk to me anymore." He sighed, looking down.

Namjoon hugged him as he caressed his back while grinning. "She will. She loves you, so I'm sure she will talk with you. If she doesn't respond, continue messaging her. She might be hurt but I'm sure she will come back to you."

He cried silently while hugging the elder, unable to form words. He wanted to respond to her messages after the interview, but he felt guilty for not being a good brother to his friends before. And now that he knew he was a great brother, he was nervous if he could be a good friend if not a lover.
