Shouto's phone vibrated in his pocket.

He fished it out and opened the message from his new friend a month ago; Izuku Midoriya. They met at the park once where he found him crying.

Please meet me at the park where we met, I need your help.

He didn't mind going since its a boring Saturday. His father is at work and his mother is busy with household chores. His siblings are playing and his older sister is busy reviewing for an exam; thus, he was left alone in his room.

After thirty minutes, he was ready to go. Shouto explained everything to his mother before he continued his walk to the park.

The park is beautiful; the cherry blossoms sway on the fresh wind of spring, the rustling of leaves made him feel more relaxed.

As soon as he reached the bench where they first met; he is already tackled into a hug by the green haired teen. Izuku is crying once again; Shouto felt hot tears on his shoulder.

"Please help me...I can't take it anymore. I don't know how to stop it..." Izuku said after he let go. You can see the worry and nervousness etched on his face.

"Stop what? How can I help?" Shouto asked.

The green head wiped his tears as the taller teen herded him back to their usual bench.

"M-My childhood friend is...suicidal" he announced. Shouto didn't actually know how to react nor how to feel so he simply nodded.

Izuku pulled his phone from his pocket and showed a picture. The half and half teen's jaw fell: its a picture of an ash blonde boy facing away from the camera, a blade on one hand and his other arm was bleeding so badly. "I secretly took this picture when I insisted on sleeping in his room. I just can't take it anymore." He said with a shaky sigh.

"Whenever I tried to talk with him, he just ignored me or shouted at me. Well, its hard now that his parents died in a holdup robbery...he is still blaming himself for it" he explained. "He can't open up to me, so if possible...can you please help me watch out for him in school? You have the same school and I don't want him to do something as stupid as jumping off a building...I don't want him to die"

Shouto felt pity and an urge to protect this blonde stranger. He looked at the picture one more time and decided. "Okay, I'll do my best" he announced.

Izuku beamed as tears poured out his eyes once again. "Thank you"

Monday, the day when he should stalk Katsuki Bakugou on the way to school, during breaks and after school. It might look like a  suspicious stalker, but its the only way to protect him.

He leaned on his hiding spot; a post, waiting for the ash blonde teen to move out of Midoriya's house. According to Izuku, Katsuki always walked towards class on 6.

"Bye Ka-chan! Be careful!" He heard the loud voice of Izuku.

"Yeah, bye"

He peeked and saw Katsuki. He is pale and thin, he has bags under his eyes and his jacket seemed to hide something underneath. For him, he looked very unhealthy. That made him worry more.

After the blonde bypassed his post, he waited until they are ten meters away before stepping out in the daylight.

He stalked Katsuki all the way to school and on the way to the classroom only to found out that they were class neighbors.

Shouto sighed in relief when he saw his target enter the classroom. For now, its mission complete.

He did the same for the whole day. But nothing seemed to happened. He only noticed that he has barely any friends; Kaminari Denki and Eijiro Kirishima. He is also fasting which is very dangerous for a suicidal person.

After school, he followed him again. Nothings going wrong...not until Katsuki turned to a wrong street.

' this is not the way home' Shouto thought to himself.

He followed Katsuki towards the park, deeper into the forest. He was sure to hide on every tree, just to make sure that he is out of sight.

They finally stopped into a clearing, a small ponds upon the center. You can hear the birds sing and the frogs croak nearby plus the rushing water of a stream. Its very calming and relaxing

The blonde teen sighed and looked around; Shouto on the other hand leaned on the largest tree and held his breath.

Katsuki removed his bag and placed it on a nearby rock, then he pulled out a small silver card...no, not a card...a blade.

Shouto's eyes widened in alert, he lunged out of the tree just before the blonde could even remove his jacket. "Stop!" He exclaimed, then pinned down Katsuki on the forest floor.

They heaved and breath heavily. Katsuki tearing up as he struggled to remove the taller man above him. His hands were tightly gripped and his legs were locked. "Bastard! Get off me!" He yelled.

The blade is glinting under the sun; the silent is eerie and the nature sounds seemed so far away. They only stared.

"Who the hell are you?" Katsuki asked, blinking rapidly just to try if the embarrassing tears would go away. Shouto's grip tightened a little, "Shouto Todoroki, your childhood friend's friend" he announced.

The blonde tried to struggle once again but it didn't do any good to him. "Let me go pervert!" He exclaimed, trying to bite the taller man. "I'll let go if you promise me not to hurt yourself again"

That caused Katsuki to laugh, "You fucking life disturber, I'm not going to listen to a stranger...nonetheless a pervert" he spat.

Shouto sighed in exasperation, "drop the blade then" he commanded.

They glared at each other for five minutes, but Katsuki's hands and legs are hurting. "Fine" he said and flicked the blade off of his hand. The weapon flew across the pond, making a light plop sound.

That's when and where they first met...

Slowly, the two became friends. Katsuki can't make anymore moves because of Shouto watching him all day. Izuku thanked him for that.

The blonde was even fed regularly by Shouto. Forcing food in his mouth if he had to.

Slowly, a year has passed and they became more than friends.

"Damn it Shouto, why do you always have to feed me like this" Katsuki growled, leaning away from the spoonful of curry that the taller teen is offering. "Because you won't eat unless I forced you to"

The blonde crossed his arms, "I'm not, I just don't like curry...the end" he grumbled, pushing the spoon away.

Shouto sighed, "don't be a big baby Katsuki, come on now say ah"

Katsuki blushed in embarrassment, the other students watching giggled and pointed. Almost everyone knew that they are very close.  "Remember the one time you tried to jump off a building? Didn't I hug you very tight you lost consciousness... Its still funny"

Katsuki blushed harder. "Don't say that!" He exclaimed punching the half and half on the shoulder.

"Then there was this one time when you tried to use chemicals to kill yourself only to found out you were drinking every cough syrup in the clinic"

Katsuki grumbled and stood up. "Ass" he said then gave him the finger before leaving. "But you know you love me, right?" Shouto smirked pulling Katsuki's hand.

The blonde was shocked, "Bastard, of course...not" he said before pulling the taller teen's collar and tiptoed to plant a kiss.
