It had been a month since Nikhil's mother passed away.

Police agreed to keep the whole debacle a secret while Elena was taken to jail. She had no regrets.

Nikhil, Saira and Diya went through counselling as everything had stressed them out and mentally they needed help.

Saira went to meet Elena in jail.

She had shaved her head and her aging was very well visible. However, she had a certain calm expression.

Like she was in peace.

Elena made no gesture of making any expressions of hate or anything at Saira.

With a blank expression, she said," I never expected that you would have liked to meet me."

Saira nodded and said,"Me too."

Elena cracked a smile at her answer as Saira gave a small smile.

Saira spoke," I didn't like you for what you did to Nikhil or tried to break our relationship through Advay. Yes. Advay told me about what all he tried. I am glad Nikhil ignored his tactics."

Elena nodded and said," I never got the chance of being in love. I suppose, I assumed you both were just attracted and I would be able to seperate you both. I am glad that you too have worked out."

Saira was surprised. She expected her to apologise for trying to seperate however she didn't feel any remorse. Saira didn't know if she was glad that she seemed genuinely okay about them working out or angry that she isn't sorry.

Saira shook her head, as if reminding why she was here.

Saira turned to say,"Actually, I was wondering if you could manage somehow to make a pie?"

Elena seemed to remember and said,"Ahh. You told it was her last wish? Don't worry, I will have it ready by Wednesday."

Saira nodded.

Her hands seemed to drum at the desk and Elena seemed to notice it for a long time.

They didn't speak for few moments and finally Saira spoke,"I wanted to thank you for saving me at the right time. I know the bullet wasn't supposed to save me but hit him.."

Elena interrupted Saira by saying,"No, it was shot by me to save you. He had anyway killed my sister. I didn't want him to kill your baby. I even called you that evening to warn you that Keshav was keeping tabs at you before you got kidnapped. I may have hated you all but the dear baby had no fault. "

Saira was shocked at the gesture and only muttered,"Ohh..Thank you."

Elena nodded awkwardly.

They heard the bell ring. 

Elena stood up and said,"Uhh...It was nice of you to drop by. Take care of yourself and baby. I will send the pie at your residence. Keep my note at her grave please."

Saira nodded and walked out of the place.

She would never be able to understand Elena Malhotra.

Saira and Nikhil sat watching the sea waves while their hands clasped together.

Saira had her head on Nikhil's shoulder.

She asked him,"Nikhil, are you okay?"

Nikhil thought for a while and said,"An honest answer?"

Saira looked at him and nodded.

He said,"I will be okay soon."

His hands touched Saira's belly and he spoke,"It always marvels me what strength women can have. Imagine in few months a whole new human will come out of you."

Saira laughed and said,"That's indeed a mystery. I mean I know the biology part but the strength part? That's a mystery."

Nikhil smiled and kissed her as Saira smiled.His hands slipped to her fingers.

They clasp their hands together again and Nikhil turned to whisper,"By the way, thank you."

Saira stared at him as she asked,"For?"

Nikhil smirked as he said,"For accepting to be my wife."

Saira laughed as she spoke,"What?"

He took her hand and showed a new ring on her finger.

Saira bit her lip as she said,"When did you slide it on?"

Nikhil spoke,"Does it matter?"

Saira spoke playfully,"Yes. Because I haven't said yes yet."

Nikhil turned to back hug her and kissed her on her shoulder as he spoke,"I love you. You love me."

Saira turned back to look at him and spoke,"You need to be more convincing."

Nikhil took her in his arms as he said,"I have pretty good convincing skills. And anyways, I know what's this relationship called between us." 

Saira kissed him as he kissed her back.

Maybe they did know what their relationship now was meant to call!
