Advay couldn't believe at his eyes when he saw Naina standing at ice-cream block.

Look at her. She is having her time of life while Nikhil suffered.

She was the culprit.

Advay walked fast towards her.

Before Naina could take her ice-cream, she was yanked by a strong grip.

Her eyes widened at spotting Advay.

Advay couldn't help but shout," How dare you return back to Mumbai?"

Naina's shocked expression was masked before she whispered to the man serving ice-cream," Please give me my ice-cream in few minutes."

The man nodded and resumed to help other customers as Advay stood seething.

Naina faced Advay again and spoke," First of all, no one owns Mumbai. Secondly, yes I dared to return back. Why? You got a problem?"

Advay spoke furiously,"Remember how you broke Nikhil's heart? He couldn't recover from it so many years. He changed his own persona because of you!"

Naina stood shocked at his accusations. Her eyes narrowed before she spoke,"How dare you accuse me? Advay, you weren't there when the breakup even happened! "

Advay said," Does it matter?"

Naina wanted to scream but she took a deep breath and spoke," Advay, stop blaming everyone for what you couldn't get!"

Advay took a step back before he said," What do you mean?"

Naina stood wary of her words. She wasn't him.

All she managed to say was," Look Advay. I was not in love with Nikhil. I did like him but I mistook it for love.  Imagine that I had to break my childhood friendship with him. I didn't know how to tell him. When I realised that, it somehow happened in the worse way. I only want to apologise to him about it."

Advay fumbled before whispering," But he loved you. Was it not enough?"

Advay couldn't understand it.

How could someone so easily understand that?

Was she so selfish?

Naina didn't understand how to explain it to him.

She didn't want Nikhil and her to be in a loveless marriage.

She didn't want to lose their friendship.

How could she explain it to Advay how difficult it was to say anything when you don't love that person back. How much it breaks your heart!

She tried so hard to love Nikhil but she couldn't.

How could she explain to Advay that he was what she liked. She tried to move on from Advay by trying to date Nikhil.

She almost even got married before her to-be husband realised he wanted to go back with his ex.

Her  own questions made her eyes teared up and she chose to say," I know how much it hurts to be in one sided love. No matter how many poems or songs are written to glorify one sided love. It always hurts. I had done it enough. I couldn't do it more."

With that she walked away.

Like how Advay would have walked away always.

Advay just stared at her exiting the place before his heart screamed at him.

He was a hypocrite.

He was going to do same to Nikhil.

He was so confused about his feelings about Saira.

Did she still like him?

Or was he just in love with the idea of it?

Was he on the verge of breaking two people's heart who he deeply cared about?

---I had written above piece long time back and in coming days you can expect more to come soon. I will soon be ending this book as I have already prolonged it by a year.

I suddenly find lot more respect for writers on this platform who also work along side with their jobs. I am currently interning after last year I was trying to do research for Biomedical domain in Tech space. My research and my further studies thing is still on my mind so writing has taken a back seat. Imagine my surprise that I open up wattpad to find that some coin system is also introduced lol. I remember reading all stories for free even with offline. But I guess all business want to scale up for revenue too so understandable.

Atleast my stories are free! :P 

haha anyway I hope you guys understand me and keep patience with me.

And all the readers and writers who do jobs too, I am sending you my salute!

And those who are students, please enjoy this time. You will crave it a lot later!!
