5 months later......

With Sonic defeated, Eggman's army quickly took over. Within month's, all but a few isolated areas in the world were under their control.  

Despite the overwhelming odds, a rag-tag resistance formed banding together to continue the fight.

And now, a new face prepares to join the struggle.

In the middle of nowhere outside of the Mobius city, a green crocodile with black and gold gloves with black speakers on his head and black and white sneakers walk  in the opening of a hideout where all the resistances hangout and make plans to stop eggman invasion to take over the world.

The crocodile that just walk with the hide was not looking so happy at the time as his neck chain that was gold swinging right to left as he place his hand on his forehead and sigh as the doors behind him close automatic as he walk in.

"Man!, Eggman's army is unstoppable!" he said as he continue to walk to the center of the room where the others were. 

"Without sonic, the people are losing hope and giving into despair." the green croc said as he cross his arms and look at the others and they also cross the arms as some sigh a bit.

A white hedgehog that goes by the name sliver look up and started to speak as bold as he can which he could.

"Despair is a luxury we don't have." he sated it out as he wave have his hand free.

" I still dream that sonic is here with us." said a pink hedgehog as she look at the floor sad know that her best friend/person that grow to love. she place and hand on her heart as she look at the others.

'Do you that he might be--" she stared to ask but got cut off by silver before she could finish that question.

"I'm an optimist, but I'm also a realist. Sonic is gone, Amy. And tails is....well tails has just lost it." silver said the others hold they head down as they know that tails is still hurt to the fact that his best friend was...dead. Amy hold her head down as she close her eyes to keep an tear in. Amy may love sonic, but she see's him as a brother now to the fact that he use to date shadow back in the past...but lets not talk about that now.

"If we're are going to win, we have to do it without them." silver said firmly as the other pick they heads and look at each other. A purple chameleon step up as he nods his head and turn his attention to the others as the look up to him.  

"silver is right. We've been hoping for a miracle these past six mounts, but I'm afraid we have to make our own miracle." the chameleon said as a young bee that was flying above him cross his arm as he nods at his statement. 

The white hedgehog close his eye and nods as he walk up to a table and look at everyone. "Eggman's army has everyone terrified. It we want the people to rally. we have to show them that strength doesn't just come from numbers." silver said as he bold his fist up as everyone nods.

"Not everyone is 'Terrified'. isn't a new recruit joining us today?" ask a black and yellow bee as he flying is the air pointing at the door. silver smile as he nods at his question.

"Yes. A survivor from the city. right?"

"I'm accessing the files now..." Amy said as the stated to press a button on the computer loading some data to the files as everyone walk to her side and look up the person who will be joining the resistance.

*Back up in space at the Death Egg*

A blue hedgehog was in his jail cell like always. At times they will let him out and he would try to fight back to escape but 'It was no use' as they would knock him out or turn up the blue rings that was on him to send him in pain. 

sonic had some marks over his body like hit marks and whoop marks. sonic was in pain for lots of reasons. 

1.) because  he was hold by his will...

2.) getting abuse in space....

3.) looking at the others getting defeated but doctor Eggman 

and lastly 

4.)  Not doing anything to fight back to help

sonic feels like he let everyone down, and it's hurts him deeply. sonic was sitting oh a thin metal bed looking at the wall that was in front  thinking how things would be if he was down stopping eggman and saving the world . sonic close his eye's as he let his ears go down a bit as he let out a big...

'sigh'...

It didn't took sonic ears to perk up fast as he heard foot steps coming his way. sonic eyes went to left as he saw that the jackal came back to fuck with him again. sonic hiss a bit as he keep his eyes on the jackal as he enter the cell room and close the door behind him.

"So I see you still won't break out your zone boi, but Ill make sure you will when I come back from my job. So get ready for what about to come.." the jackal said as he made his way to sonic and use his hand to lift the blue one head up to make eye contact with him. sonic growl at him as his eyes turn dark a bit as the jackal look at them and smirk.

" Just note this 'Rat', what's about to come will be extremely painful." he said as he move his hand from sonic face and slap him making the blue hedgehog face swing to the right a bit from the impact. sonic shake a bit from anger as he was about lash out on him, but he quickly stop when the blue power rings glow as he close his eyes and hiss from the pain.

The jackal smirk as he was out the cell room and shut the door making the hedgehog turn his head to look at him.

"see you soon rat" 

He said as walk away leaving a pissed but yet a sad hedgehog.  

~~~Back at the resistance~~~

everyone looked at the door as they saw and red echidna walk. everyone walk up to him waiting for some commands .

" Knuckles! What's the sitrep commander?" silver ask him as the others look at him for the answer.

"Happy to see you're all still alive. Eggmans forces have chewed through our defenses at green hill, and the resistances in the city is reporting that whatever it is that finished sonic.....Sorry, I'm still not used to saying that." Knuckles said as the others hold they heads down and close they eyes.

" But what every it is, it got them running in fear." he said as he walk up the mother board computer. 

suddenly the doors opens to show that a Red wolf with glasses and headphones with a mic walk in his boots on that kinda mach with his belt.

"Except for this kid, Who survived the battle and made it here in one piece. Meet our new recruit." knuckles said as he walk in letting the doors close behind him. 

'Charmy' the bee fly over the new member and took a look at him while he hum a bit.

"hmm, doesn't look like much." he said making the new cumber ears go down a bit.

"Nether do you, Charmy, But I still manage to find a use for your pointy butt!" knuckles said as the bee just 'meh at the commander and went about his pains.

" Here kid, take this." The commander said as he gave the wolf his tool that he gonna need for the mission up ahead.

"We're depending on you kid."he said as the wolf nods and runs out the hideout and make his way to find if they were more survivors that might need his help..

Before the will mission lies ahead for him....
