Rosè's point of view

Cheri and I stare at each other from across the table. I invited them out so we can start our process in repairing our friendship but this harder than I thought.

Me: How've you been?
Cheri: Good, you?
Me: Pretty good.
Cheri: That's good.

This is akward.

Me: Sorry for calling you up so suddenly.
Cheri: No problem, I need a break away from studying. So how's your parents?
Me: Good, my dad is releasing his final book to his series this week and my mom is trying to expand her vet. Yours?

They shrug.

Me: My dad is having fun terrorizing our campus and my mom has been throwing herself into work so she doesn't have to be home.

Chenle and Cheri have a lot in commons when it comes to their parents' love life.

Cheri: But my dad has been trying lately, he brings her flowers to work and attempts to cook dinner everyday.
Me: Uncle Wooyoung was always a caring person, even when doesn't want to be. Like you.

They grin.

Cheri: Sometimes being that caring can get overbearing, which is what I think happened. I didn't want to see you or Wonnie hurt.

Our eyes meet making me sigh. This is the first time in a year that their eyes doesn't scream hatred for me, it's actual gentle.

Me: Now that im older I understand that, especially now since I went through a lot of pain over him. I got obsessed with him to the point where I hated him.

Now I'm just happy that he can smile with Rin, she can give him everything I couldn't.

Cheri: Wonnie loved you too, just not in that way.
Me: Yeah I know. I wish him and Rin the best.
Cheri: And you? What're you gonna' do?
Me: I've been focusing on myself and repairing the bonds with my brothers, and you.

I've missed hanging with Cheri very much. I love all the others but them and I had a bond that was deeper than most. I miss that and them.

Me: I'm sorry for everything.
Cheri: I'm sorry too, I was going to reach out a while ago but couldn't. I was embarrassed.
Me: Why? I should be the embarrassed one.
Cheri: Our last argument had a lot of things that shouldn't have been said.

I shrug.

Me: It was like a sibling argument to me.

I stick out my pinky.

Me: I don't expect our friendship to go back to how it was overnight, or even at all, but truce?

They wrap their pinky around mine.

Cheri: Truce!

Their phone starts to vibrate, and the name Beomgyu flashes across the screen with a bunch of kisses emojis. They ignore it before sending a quick text.

Cheri: I'll call him later.
Me: Oh? Is that you're new boo?
Cheri: So far, so good.

We both laugh.

Hajoon's point of view

Leedo, a bunch of his friends from school and I are all suppose to hang out at his place. Since he'll be transferring soon they wanted to have one last hangout before they all get to busy.

Mrs.Elena turned her old dance studio in the house into a chill area for the guys. Wall to wall carpet, TV, gaming system, pool table, even a refrigerator!

Leedo hangs here a lot because usually Keeho is gone at his house. I walk in to see a few people I recognize. My eyes widen as I see Leedo helping some girl play pool.

She's giggling at absolutely nothing because how is pool funny. I walk over to see what's the joke is and she glances at me.

Leedo: What's up!
Me: What's up?
Leedo: This is my friend Trish, Trish this is my bestfriend Hajoon.
Trish: Nice to meet you!

I smile half-assed.

Leedo: I was teaching her how to play pool.
Me: Mhm it looked like it.

He makes a weird face but before he can say anything I spot Keeho from the other side of the room with Lex.

Lex: You can't get the D if you're always running away.
Keeho: You would know, huh?

Her face turns pink before she slaps his arms a few times. I look back to see the girl Trish laughing and hanging all over him.

It honestly pisses me off.

Lex: It's important to ask yourself if this is a crush or just obsession. And if it is a crush do you want a relationship with him or just a quickie. Don't ruin your friendship over something trivial.

They're right.

I need to think.

I see Trish kiss his neck and all rationality went out the window.

Why am I acting like this?  I'm Hajoon, get it together man. I go back to the pool table and challenge Leedo to a game.

Leedo: What's the wager?
Me: Loser has to do whatever the winner want.
Leedo: Got it!

The score was close but i ended winning at the last minute.

Leedo: You won, so tell me what you want.
Me: I'll tell you later. Let's enjoy this little kickback!

He smiles.
