Hana is a sweet girl so we decided to take her out to lunch and shopping with us. We're back at Rin's place chilling in the pool.

Rin: What if he doesn't want to change like he enjoys being a sadist?

I was dragged out of my room for "boys night" which shouldn't count because it's boys night every damn night in this house.

Keeho: It's real messed up what you did to Hana.
Hwasang: What I did to Hana? Oh, fucking Ani? Yeah that was rough. She hasn't answered my calls so she maybe pissed.

Chenle: You don't look sorry at all.
Hwasang: Im not understanding why I should be sorry when I kept it honest with her from the beginning!

Me: When a dentist gives you a root canal they tell you how uncomfortable it is from the beginning but you still whine and complain. Then what do they do? Apologize.

He scoffs.

Hwasang: Mine tells me to suck it up.
Me: Well Mr.Johnny did roll with Uncle San and them back in their frat days.

Hwasang grabs his phone to call Hana, she doesn't answer.

Hwasang: Welp, that's it.
Chenle: That's it?
Keeho: You're letting her go.

Hwasang starts to get agitated.

Hwasang: What do y'all want from me? We can all agree she deserves better so what's the point in chasing her when I should just let her be!

He storms upstairs slamming his door.

Chenle: Has he always been that way?
Me: Ever since we were younger girls have flocked over him. It's cliché but the boy can't love.
Keeho: My dad saids all the time Hwa reminds him of how Uncle San was.

So does my mom..

Me: I think he does like Hana, he just doesn't know how to say it. He has to grow up some day but I guess today isn't the day.

Hwasang's point of view

I'm losing my shit.

I don't want to hurt Hana, but for some reason the thought of her begging and being in shambles is just entertaining to me.

I'm a menace to society.

The park is my go to spot when I'm annoyed. I like the view of the water and the cool breeze.

"Hwaaaaaasaaaaanggggg!"

Uncle San comes jogging towards me. He pauses his music and plops down on the bench next to me.

Uncle San: What're you doing here?
Me: Just thinking, you jog around here?

He nods.

Uncle San: You look stressed.
Me: Girl issues.
Uncle San: Oooo, do tell!
Me: I'm enemy number one for humping around I guess.

A small chuckle leaves his lips.

Uncle San: Oh I went through that whole song and dance before. Are you in love?
Me: That's the problem, I can't.
Uncle San: You can't? Or you haven't found that person?
Me: How do you know when you've found that person?

He smiles, his dimples protruding out.

Uncle San: When their name pops up on your phone you can't help but smile. When they're having a bad day you do whatever you can to change it, their smile is your favorite thing in the world. Seeing them hurt upsets you.

It was someone I had like that.

Me: Protecting them no matter what?
San: Yeah exactly. Love is something that can't be forced, if it's meant to be it will be. The journey to it isn't smoothly paved, but nephew let me tell you..-

He places his hand on my shoulder.

Uncle San: If others get hurt in your journey it's mandatory that you apologize because they didn't ask for any of it.

He's right.

I pull out my phone to text Hana.

Me: I'm coming over.
