Prophecies in fanfics are so bad. I know they're not Rick Riordan and they can't make prophecies as well, but they can try. I'm not expecting fanfiction to be just like the books, but I like it when the authors try. I understand that if you're going to have a quest they have to have a prophecy, but they aren't supposed to be literal. 

Also, they always seem to follow the exact plot of the Lightning Thief. They start when our daughter of Posideon gets to camp, after fighting a monster teacher or hellhound at Goode Highschool. Then, they meet the daughter of Athena who is either there rival or BFFFF. They meet some dorky side kick and travel to the exact same places the original trio did.

I might as well play Hogwarts Mystery! That game follows the exact plot of Harry Potter.

I just don't like quest in fanfictions.
