New chapter

Sorry for the long wait and today I'm going to update two chapters today how abouy that.

If any grammar issues leave a comment on the side and I'll fix it.

"A sand Shinobi" Naruto said.

"What does this mean?" Kakashi questioned still looking at the dead man.

"We kill a man" Kanna said shock.

"I wish I knew, poor fool. He went missing after Gaara was abducted while the village was still in disarray." Chiyo said putting sakura and Naruto even Kanna with a gasp.

"Is it possible he was a spy for the Akatsuki." Sakura asked.

"No" Chiyo answered.

"He served on the council for four years" Chiyo said.

"The fire ball jutsu. It was created by the uchiha clan. Its their specialty" Kakashi said with Kanna looking at him.

"That attack was the real thing" Kakashi finished.

"So where did Itachi go now" Kanna asked.

"Looks like it was some kind of jutsu to replace him self with a good person that we killed, so he just be put there alive somewhere." Kakashi said to Kanna.

"Oh" Kanna Looks down.

Chiyo brings out something like ink and a brush. "Just as I thought, they were clearly trying to stall for time." She said as she write something down on a piece of paper.

"That's an impressive jutsu they've got" Kakashi said.

"For them to use a jutsu like this stall us can mean only one thing. Its worse than I thought" Choyo said.

"What you mean by that Chiyo" Kanna asked.

"I mean. The extraction of the tailrd beast has already begun" Chiyo answered Kanna.

Everyone went into shock. "We are out of time, we need to get to Gaara right away" Kakashi said.

"He's right you know" Kanna said.

"So, wait hold on. What you mean by extraction?" Sakura asked.

"They're after the shukaku the tail beast in side of Gaara the one tailed. When they draw put that one tail they will create a nrw Jinchuriki" Chiyo explained for Sakura.

"A new Jinchuriki?" Kanna said shock.

"Yes" Chiyo said as she finished writing her note and summon a robot bird. Chiyo twisted the key to make the bird work and put the messeged in the bird mouth. "It's up to you" Chiyo told the robot bird as the bird flew away.

"About the Jinchuriki's when they are extracted they will die" Chiyo said with Naruto in shock.

Kanna and Sakura were about to cry. "You both are about to cry, but don't worry I promise I'm gonna save Gaara" Naruto said to the both of them with a smile.

"Don't you get it naruto, I'm concerned" Sakura said with worry.

"Well we better get going" Naruto said walking away.

Kanna wipes her tears away. "I hope everything will be okay" Kanna thought as she catches up with Naruto with others following them.

5 minutes later

Team 7 with Chiyo jumping through trees in a hurry. Kanna saw Naruto exhausted. "Hey Naruto are you alright up there" Kanna asked.

Naruto turns his head to see Kanna. "Yes Kanna I will be alright, don't worry about me" Naruto answered as he looks away from Kanna.

"Okay" Kanna said.

Kakashi went up to Kanna. "Its okay Kanna it's the big Rasengan took A lot out of him, so I'am sure he'll be okay" Kakashi told Kanna.

"Right Okay" Kanna said.

Team 7 jumped down from trees. "Stop here" Kakashi said.

"Why, what is it, Kakashi-sensei what's wrong?" Naruto asked.

"We're taking a short break" Kakashi told Naruto.

"That's a very wide wise decision" Chiyo said. Kanna saw Naruto get mad and walked up to Kakashi.

"What do you mean? Come on you were the one who was saying we couldn't waste anymore time. If we just lay around here doing nothing, Gaara is gonna be--" Naruto didn't finish his sentence.

"Naruto, out pace has slowed since we faced off against that bogus Itachi" Kakashi said.

"Yes he is right Naruto. We did slowed down a little even you" Kanna said.

"If we take the time to rest up now, we'll ultimately reach our destination faster" Kakashi explained.

"Keep in mind, tomorrow we may end up facing the guys who kidnapped Gaara. We'll need out full strength" Kakashi finished.

"Yeah, alright" Naruto sighes.

Night time

Every one sitting around the fire getting warmed up. Kanna sitting next to her dad smiling that she next to him again from last time she was from the rest up going to the sand village.

Kakashi looks at Kanna smiling. "What are you smiling about" Kakashi asked bringing kanna out of thoughts.

"Huh? Oh I'am sorry I was thinking something funny, that happened long time ago" Kanna said nervous.

"Oh then would you tell us. I want to know" Naruto asked.

"Um," Kanna said softly.

"Please we want to know too" Sakura said smiling.

Kanna sighes. "Fine I'll tell you" Kanna said.

"Now where do I being, I was with my mom in the rain village in our house" Kanna started.

"Mom asked me how was my day and I told her it was fine, mom started cooking breakfast then now all the sudden pancakes started to stick to the cieling" Kanna said.

"Mom grab a chair to unstuck the pancakes then the pancake fell right I her face and I couldn't stop laughing and mom made a funny face." Kanna finished her story while laughing then she calms down and frowns.

"Hey whats wrong Kanna" Kakashi asked her.

"Nothings wrong I just miss her but she passed away she was very sick" Kanna said with tears.

"Hey it's okay I know how you feel" Kakashi said bring her into a hug to calm her down.

Kanna returns the hug. "Is this how feel to get a hug from a dad" Kanna thought as she wiped her tears.

Kakashi let's go of the hug. "Alright now let's get some rest" Kakashi said.

"Right" They all said.
