Chapter 7: Drunken Mistakes
We were already about ten drinks in and starting to feel the effects. The room was spinning, everyone there was suddenly gorgeous, and the bartender was beginning to refuse us drinks.
"...And then I said "If you stand for nothing, Burr, what'll you fall for?" Alex laughed, slamming his drink down on the table. Lafayette, Hercules and I joined in, all swaying together.
"So, Al, when ya 'gon tell Johnny o'er 'ere that ya like 'im?" Herc asked, draping an arm around Alex's shoulders. Alex turned redder, pushing Herc off him. Everyone started laughing again, having the best time of our lives. Alex started singing a song he'd been working on about some founding father called Lin-Manuel Miranda. I'd heard the name a couple times, but I had no clue who they were. (YES I JUST DID THAT!)
"Hey, Imma -hic- head out. You guyz gonna stay 'ere?" I asked, slurring slightly as I stood up. The guys told me that they'd be staying for a while longer and that I should just head home. I laughed drunkenly, starting to walk out of the bar.
As I exited, I noticed a familiar head of hair. He was hunched over at the bar, drunk as I was. I walked over and put a hand on his shoulder, leaning into his face.
"Hey there, handsome.~" I cooed seductively. Thomas looked into my eyes, smirking in a far more sexual way than normal.
"I could say the same to you, mi amor.~" He responded, lifting my chin. I was merely inches from his face now and I could smell the alcohol on his breath. I laughed as I stared into is eyes for a long while. It felt almost like forever.
"So... would you like to go back to my place?~" Thomas finally asked, trying to fully separate the distance between us. I put one finger over his lips.
"I'd like that." I whispered in his ear, feeling him shiver at my breath on his neck.
Next thing I knew we were at the door to his house. It was two stories, around middle class rating, lovely windows. Thomas opened the door.
"After you.~" Thomas spoke, opening the door. I stepped in and was instantly overwhelmed with the beauty of the place. A chandelier hung on the ceiling, golden railed stairs led upward and gorgeous pictures lined the walls. Thomas picked me up from behind and carried me upstairs, putting me down in front of his bedroom door. In that moment, a part of me became sober, wanting to stop. I would have said something, but then he kissed me, and the sober part of me was pushed out as I ran my fingers through his hair. His soft lips pressed against mine and butterflies erupted in my stomach. Thomas deepened the kiss and pressed me against the wall near his bedroom door and then... he closed the door.
I'm really sorry that this part is so short. he next part will make up for it, though!... Probably... hopefully... maybe... bye...
P.S Is that a perfect picture or what? XD
