The rest of the week goes pretty well. Chase realizes that driving Christopher's car isn't so bad. Everyone is getting along really well on set except the star and the director.

The star of the movie thinks just because he has had a few successful movies, that he doesn't have to listen to what the director says. They fight about the script all the time.

Chase has been able to eat lunch with Leigh and Jayden every day this week. He and Leigh have been talking about setting Jayden and Harrison up.

When Friday finally arrives, Chase heads into work like he does every day. When he walks into the studio everyone is freaking out. The assistant director calls them all together for a brief meeting.

Apparently, the director has decided to quit and they will be getting a new director from the home office in California next week. Everyone is sent home and will start fresh on Monday morning.

Harrison had called last night to say the Mustang was ready, so Chase figures this would be the perfect time to go pick it up. He sends Leigh a text explaining what is going on, and that he won't be there for lunch.

He also tells her that when he gets home, he will go ahead and grab an Uber over to Harrison's shop. Then she won't need to give him a ride over there after work.

Instead of replying back, she calls him. "Hey gorgeous what's up?" Chase asks.

"I have an idea. Remember how we said we wanted to set Jayden and Harrison up?" she asks.

"Yeah," Chase replies.

"Well can you wait to go pick up your car later after I get off from work?"

"I guess so but why?" Chase asks.

"Jayden invited me to go out for pizza with her tonight. She is supposed to come by and pick me up on the way. I told her we would need to drop you off to pick up your car, and she said no problem. So when the three of us go by the auto shop we could introduce her to Harrison," Leigh says.

"Then I could ask you two to join us for pizza, and go from there. What do you think?" she asks.

"It could work," Chase says.

"Awesome we will see you tonight. Enjoy the rest of your day off!"

"Thanks see you then," Chase says as he hangs up the phone.

These two are going to see a set up from a mile away. If it works out then I guess they won't get too mad at us, Chase thinks to himself. "Now what the hell am I supposed to do all day long by myself," Chase says.

Since he had the whole afternoon off Chase decided to clean the apartment, and get some laundry done. Then he went to the grocery store.

He had promised Harrison that they would hang out while he was here in town. He needed to stock up on some more supplies like snacks, beer, and microwave dinners for later.

Even though he would love to continue to eat dinner with Leigh every night, he figured at some point she may get tired of feeding him. After he unloaded the groceries he went ahead and jumped into the shower. He wanted to be ready to go once Leigh and Jayden came by to pick him up.

Leigh had said they would come by around 6:00 to get him. By 6:15 the girls had still not shown up. Chase couldn't stand it anymore, so he went over to Leigh's apartment. Jayden answered the door and immediately had a huge grin on her face.

"Well hello there handsome," Jayden says.

"Hello to you too," Chase replies smiling. "I thought maybe you two had forgotten about me."

"Of course not. We were on our way out the door, and Leigh's phone rang. She said she needed to take the call, and went into her bedroom."

"That was about 15 minutes ago. I was just about to go busting in there because I am starving," she says annoyed.

Just then Leigh comes out of her room phone in hand and looking flustered.

"Oh hey Chase, sorry we are running a little late," Leigh says.

"No problem, is everything ok ?"

"Yeah, everything is fine. Are y'all ready to go?" Leigh asks clearly changing the subject.

"Hell yeah I'm starving let's go," Jayden says heading for the door.

Chase knows that everything is not fine with Leigh, but he decides not to push her for answers. Maybe she will talk to me when we are alone, he thinks to himself.
