45) Will you be my shade?

Addar stood up from his bed and he could only imagine how Catherine was, as she was covered in a blanket. He was standing naked in the room until he found his shorts which helped him cover a part of him. He went inside the bathroom and started his routine as if it was a normal day but his lips refused to stop smiling. It's not always you make love for first time.

One thing which worried him was the thought, if he will always be happy like this. He was coming out of the bathroom after bath but stopped in his tracks to turn back and look at his face in mirror. He decided to groom his hair which made him try various styles with his hair. After 20 minutes he decided that he couldn't choose a perfect style for him.

He decided that he will let Catherine decide how he looks the best so decided to go to her. Best feeling is not impressing your partner with the look you pulled up but letting your partner making the look which you want to pull off.

He came inside to see Catherine lying on her stomach and her blanket was pushed below as she had rolled on her sleep. Addar never understood why men are crazy over a girl's chest but for him it was always a girl's back showing off her spine with all those curves. Exactly like the ones which Catherine is showing off now.

He came near her and his presence made her open her eyes. He smiled at her which she returned before turning her face to hide. He slowly traced his index finger over her naked back. He could feel her body turn stiff while he wrote I love you in her back using his index finger.

He slowly leaned and started to pamper her spine with some feather kisses and he slowly allowed his lips to trace a path from her spine to her side neck. He slowly tried to turn her around expecting her to resist as her chest is uncovered.

He was shocked to see her turn around without much protection but was more shocked to see her eyes closed. He knew from her face that it wasn't due to blushing. He slowly covered her chest with a blanket while caressing her cheeks.

He was caressing her cheeks continuously without any expectation. She knew that she doesn't have to open her eyes or explain him and that he will keep on caressing her cheeks even if he had to do it till eternity.

She slowly opened her eyes and pulled him inside the blanket to let him snuggle on her chest while her fingers were finding its way into his hair. She was enjoying his warmth and letting him experience his while slowly whispering to him, "Sorry, I panicked."

He slowly came near her face and rubbed his nose on hers while her hands were trying to explore his back. A part of her wanted to rest on his arms till eternity. He slowly said near her lips enough for her to think his words reached her brain through her mouth, "Why?"

She knew that she had to answer this which made her hand immobile and she slowly said, "We are past the stage where we could stay together with love alone. You can survive the first phase of love with attraction and affection. There is something in that stage which could help you keep running but there is nothing to run now in this stage of love. I have nothing more to give to you."

Addar felt bad now. He should have given her sometime but he wanted to fight. He rolled back and lend his chest as a pillow to her which made her smile in spite of everything as she got everything she asked for. She started to trace her fingers on his chest. She pulled that fat he had on his stomach and laughed at it too.

She remembered how life acts. After all life is the worst sadist and Catherine has had first hand evidence of it which was the reason why she panicked.

Addar slowly whispered and his whisper clearly showed that he knew exactly what she was thinking, "I can't guarantee that life will be good. Life is not just bad for you and me. Life is bad to everyone and that's how life is. Life believes in equality but doesn't believe in mercy. So it shows no mercy on anyone."

Catherine couldn't stop her smile which made him smile while he explained his plan for life, "People find it irritating when they stand under clear sky in burning sun but no one realises how it is under same scenario but now in shade of tree, enjoying the clear sky. Even burning sun in the background of clear sky is a pleasant sight with shade of tree. Life is like that if you have persons who love you then everyone's life is bliss."

Catherine couldn't help but lift herself up and stare at him while he still continued, "My life is a mess too, more than you can imagine. I am kicked to every part by problems. I hate how this world clutches my freedom and words my peers say is threatening me every moment. Thoughts of people who are under me are hurting. Everything is a mess and my whole life is a problematic complex equation but I think you are the solution which I am looking for. Will you be my shade?"

Catherine picked up his face and pecked him on his lips while slowly saying her words, "I was just insecure. I just don't want to share whatever I had last night. I don't want anyone to breathe the same breath you breathed. All I ask is you and you alone and most importantly to me alone. I just want to be the only one who gets you. Your cheeks and chest are for me to caress and me alone. I am insecure and always on your collar breathing on your neck. Are you okay with it?"

Addar stared at her for a moment and acted like as if he is thinking before saying, "You breathing on my neck is nice to imagine so I am grateful for it. I like when a girl is more possessive."

Catherine couldn't hide her smile, "Then I will be your shade with pleasure. May be time to take a holiday today?"

Addar raised his eyebrow, "What's the order my lady? What should I do?"

Catherine said with a wink, "May be make babies?"

Addar now gave a pose as if he is thinking, "That's favourite work of most men and I am not an exception."

*****After a month****

Addar didn't wait for his car to stop but launched himself out of it. He opened every door and ran inside without thinking where he is going. His mind was only on Catherine's words, Come home fast. I need you. I need you immediately here. I am in home.

At last he found her and she was sitting in a corner in their room. She was sitting Indian style on the floor. He was quite stunned by her pose. Her face was resting on her hands. He came near her and knelt down in his suits. He slowly caressed her hair and kissed her head.

He pulled her to him and hugged her. She wrapped her arm around him. He was pampering her with kisses while he whispered, "Are you okay? What happened?"

He felt her give something to him. He slowly lifted it up to see it. It was a pregnancy kit.

It was reading positive and she said with sorrow, "I am pregnant."

He knew that she was sad. He held her tightly and gave a hard kiss on her cheeks. He pressed her more to him and he also felt her pressing herself on him. He slowly whispered in her ear, "It's okay. We can talk about it. I understand that you don't want this child..."

He was startled by her action of pulling out of the hug but was more stunned on seeing her anger, "ARE YOU SILLY? I WAS JOKING. IT WAS A SURPRISE."

Addar was stunned for a moment and she slid down next to her. He kept his hand on his heart. She linked their arms and laid her head on his shoulder. She kissed his shoulder, "Addar, I was planning a surprise."

She slowly caressed his heart above his suit. She slowly traced his chest inside his suit. She said, "I have been dying to have a family. A girl or a boy just like you. I want a child as a sign of my love for you. I wanted a child to start our family. Our family Addar, I have been praying like every day for this."

Addar slowly wiped her tears and she continued, "I spoiled my family. I lost my family. Now time for me to start our family. May be God is on our side addar?"

Catherine slowly removed herself from him and held his cheeks, "Addar, We are going to be parents!"

Addar chuckled, "you have already said it."

Catherine stood and said, "I am gonna keep on saying it. I will keep on saying as if it is a mantra."

Catherine was all smiles as she was going to start a new family. She talked about it to anyone who has ear about how much she will pamper her child or may be children even,

She was very much excited. She was speaking proudly to her mother about how much he will take care of her. She was very much excited to see her child.

For months only thing Catherine used to talk is about her pregnancy. It could he saying how her husband takes care of her or how she will take care of her child or how she will let the world see her child.

She had vowed that she will never let her child take a wrong step in their life.

Catherine was 7 months pregnant and she is coming back home with Addar. They were literally happy that child was healthy. They had started to buy things for the child a month ago. Addar literally had allotted a floor for the child.

He is stuffing it with every possible thing a child could afford. Anyone who looks at it will think of it as a Disney theme park. He had already bought harry potter books for the child, toys, clothes, bed and painted the walls with cartoons.

Addar as always was holding her hand while he was driving even thought they were arguing. They have learnt that in the biggest fight even they hold each other's hands.

Addar was saying that they should let their child study in school for both gender but Catherine didn't support it.

Addar said, "This is not fair, he or she should learn to be on confident side in front of opposite gender. Then only he will know how to respect another gender?"

Catherine showed her anger by holding his hand tightly, "Who said only studying with opposite gender teaches them?"

As the argument was under way, "Do you think studying with other gender could have stopped that guy from hitting his wife on road?"

Addar's eyes landed on the couple. Man was middle aged but his wife looked old maybe it was because she didn't take care of herself. Man was clearly drunk and it was quite visible. He was hitting his wife and at times he was even dragging her in road.

Addar left her hands and he held onto to the steering tightly. Catherine was getting angry and it was evident in her voice, "I read in facebook that we are living in a country whose people when they see a guy hitting a girl, It's their private issue. But if they see a guy hugging a girl in public then they say, doesn't he have any sense? This is a public place. What do you think about him?"

She was startled to hear his voice, "I just want to go and strangle his neck and throw his headless body into a lion's pit."

She has never seen him talk like this and it made her turn around. He was clutching the steering tight. She tried to talk him out of his state she was trying to shake him. It took her three or four minutes and at last he looked at her but he didn't say anything. She herself asked, "Do you know that girl?"

After sometime Addar said the most shocking words which he could have ever said, "I know that guy. He raped my mom and later she died due to the injuries he inflicted on her while raping."

Now you know why he never watched a porn or why he took his mother's promise so seriously?

He was someone who lost his mother due to a guy who never believed that woman are not for sex alone so he strongly believed that he has to respect woman.

He was always someone who hated someone who had sex without love because both rape and sex without love is because of lust.

Now everyone will understand why Addar is perfect because he was a victim.
