34) You did that for years but expect me to end in months.

Addar woke up and rubbed his eyes. He slowly turned his eyes to see Catherine who was sleeping on his bed.

It has been five days since their marriage and he was getting used to sleeping beside her.

He stood up and went to bathroom. He took a bath and came out with wet hair while wearing a blue T-shirt and black track pant.

This was one of the few changes in his life now. He was used to sleep shirtless with a shorts in his room but now he is wearing a shirt and pant always.

He saw Catherine standing in front of the mirror and tying her hair. When she saw him he smiled at her which she returned. He went out to the living room and sat on the couch. He took coffee from maid and started to sip it.

Television was showing the news about the latest news about Indian Prime Minister's visit to USA.

USA's president has said that his country will support India to become a permanent member in UNO's security council.

His dad sat near him on couch while eating biscuits. His dad said, "When UNO was formed, India was given permanent member but Nehru refused due to his non-alignment policy."

Catherine came after some time with her hair open and sat near him. She started to read a newspaper too. A news flashed on Television which said, "Chennai city police commissioner accused of torturing his child as he doubted his wife having an affair."

This news got their attention as the commissioner was always on the news for his honest nature.

Reporter continued, "Mr. Kumar has been accused for inflicting cigar scars on his two year old son as Kumar thought he was not born to him."

The news changed to show an old couple who were actually Mrs. Kumar's parents who were accusing Mr. Kumar.

Addar's dad who was staring silently said, "People are getting too ruthless. Once people were not good strangers but now people are not even good parents and children too."

Sri who entered the living room said, "The fact that some people don't have morality is making many loose morality saying the world is like this."

After Sri sat on the couch Addar said, "They're quoting the proverb, 'When in Rome be a Roman' to their behaviour."

The news channel continued showing news of Mrs. Kumar requesting for the custodial duty of her son.

She had said that she is no longer with her husband so she can take care of her son.

Mr. Kumar has been banned from meeting his son.

Suddenly everyone heard someone shout, "HEY GUYS!" Catherine was the only one who was startled as everyone else knew only one who is easy enough to do this.

Catherine turned to see Harini walking into the room. She didn't forget to see the smile on Addar's face.

She stood before them and said, "You have a big garden and all but you are staying inside this concrete jail. Get up! LET'S GO!"

She made everyone stand up and dragged them to garden. A dome shaped hut was in the middle of the garden. Everyone came under it.

Harini was talking about cinema gossips.  In this short time, Catherine understood Harini doesn't stop talking once she start to.

Harini was talking about love gossips of celebrities. Catherine also found that Addar's dad talks freely with Harini only.

Harini asked excitedly to Addar's dad, " Uncle, was love gossips of celebrity's a hot topic on your time too?"

Addar's dad replied, "No. This generation is more worried about gossips. During our time we didn't have time for celebration even but your generation spends all your time celebrating."

Harini still asked, "What about love? I read that hate for love was strong during your time."

Addar's dad smiled at her while saying, "My family adored love marriage. They always encouraged me to love. When they found that I was in love, they wanted to meet her but I didn't bring her."

Harini was shocked, "Why uncle?"

Addar's dad smirked, "There is always a fun and thrill in dating without your parent's knowledge. I wanted that. My parents were watching me to find who I am dating so I used to jump out through windows at night."

Harini asked excitedly, "You seem to have the best love life."

Addar's dad suddenly lost his smile, he said slowly "Life is the biggest sadist. It finds people who have the best life and gives them the biggest trouble to see them struggle."

He stood up and turned to show his back to others while Addar was clutching his bowl. His Dad continued, "My Life was great and special. I was used to happiness. I didn't face anything else than happiness. I lost my parents but I understand that it was their time to go but it was not my wife's and Jenny's time but they were taken."

Sri and Harini were looking at Addar's dad while Catherine was the only one who was looking at Addar. He was clutching his bowl tightly.

Addar's dad said in a low voice, "My Life changed one day. I was given the biggest punishment by Life. I was dead too. I was just a walking corpse. I felt like someone ripped my soul away from my body."

Addar's dad turned and everyone except Addar and Catherine could see him shaking. He said in a raspy voice, "If fate was a person, I would surely kill it for what it did to me and go to prison."

Suddenly he saw Addar and went to him. He held his hand and said, "I never wanted to do it. I was dead on soul."

Addar took his hands away from his dad, "I was dead on soul too but did I do it?" He said that and started to walk.

Untill he was stopped by his dad's voice, "How many years will you continue this?"

Addar answered without turning back, "You did that for years but expect me to end in months. That's not fair."

Addar started to walk away to his room. Catherine followed him.

What's the biggest question for you now?

What do you think about Addar's dad?

Certain things are always so much that they will leave a big mark on you.

Even if you have everyone with you still your mind will get sad thinking of one soul which is not with you.

No one get's why our mind thinks like that.

Even the unpredictable AkankshaSharma3 thinks I will have a ending where Addar will forgive Ravichandran in his dead bed.

Addar is not jesus. Ravichandran will do something which he will never forget.

Ravichandran didn't even start his revenge on Addar. I know the ending.

But what I don't know is if it is positive or negative.

Only normal chapter is "38)Nothing hides a human's problem better than books" but still it ends with little bitter note.

But "39) Let's get it straight, I don't want to rule any Country" which I wrote yesterday was a light chapter which could make you smile.

Next chapter is, " Ravichandran says thanks"

Next chapter will show you a different side of Catharine.
