28) No one is safe when I want them to be hurt.

Ravichandran's pov:

Getting married is like announcing that I am ready to be hurt by some random person. I thought Addar is clever enough to avoid that but I am sitting in the church where he is getting married now.

My eyes landed on Addar who was sitting stiff. His eyes never turned to the girl beside him. I have seen these in romantic movies where the boy and girl see each other to smile while the ceremony takes place but Addar or that girl doesn't do these.

I was sitting on the third row to the high profile wedding where only rich people are allowed. Most of the rich people have been present so that no one says they are absent. They didn't come here to see these two people being united in their life but for the sake of business agreements and many such favours.

These rich people don't show actions for affection but for the favours. Everything is  business for them. I could see many celebrities here. Alia Bhatt who was rumoured to be Addar's girlfriend was busy with her phone. She didn't glance the wedding at all.

I could see many celebrities who didn't have any concern for what happens here at all. My eyes landed on Deepika who was sitting beside Ranveer. There was a vacant seat beside Deepika so I stood up and started to walk to her.

Let's have some fun and see some tears while Mr. Addar gets his last minutes of freedom.

I felt Deepika stiffen when I sat beside her. Quickly Ranveer swapped seats with Deepika so that he is between me and her. Knight in the shinning armour. I chuckled.

I sat and watched the whole show. I am not referring to the boring 'I will stay with you in your good and bad, health and disease, victories and failures...' After two years they knock the court doors with false charges to ask for divorce while the real charges would be silly like 'He is still helping his sister's family financially' and 'She is not respecting my mom' All these vows are stupid.

If these vows are said in a honest way then no one should divorce at all.

Stupid society! Just wants a fairy tale wedding. As I was saying that I was not enjoying wedding but the changes in Deepika.

She was sweating and her hands were shaking. She was biting her lips not in a sexy way but in a fear. I know that all she wanted was to cry loud. I just love when I see this fear in people.

Ranveer saw it and moved his large hands to hold her small hands. He pressed his hands on her hand and she held on to it tightly. Stupid love makes her think she is safe when he holds her hand.

No one is safe when I want them to be hurt. If I want them to be safe they are safe.

I turned my head and said in a cold voice, "Hello Deepi, How are you darling?" Ranveer closed his fist and was ready to punch me but Deepika stopped him and held on to his both hands.

I couldn't stop myself from chuckling. Deepika's face lost all the colour when she saw me chuckling and Ranveer's colour was more red. My voice came out with a sense of terror, "Deepika had learnt the lesson it seems. After all I am the reason she lost her career. She might not want the same to happen to you. I can destroy your career too, Ranveer."

Ranveer was getting more angry and holding him was tough for Deepika. I chuckled and leaned towards them. I made a kissing action and Ranveer lost his cool. He launched himself at the same time and Deepika pulled him to herself too so he lost balance. He fell to the ground. Media clicked photos of him falling to the ground. 

These media doesn't help in accident cases even. All they need is photos. They have let people die on accident times and this is just a slip so it's not a big surprise that no one tried to help him up. They were busy clicking the slip of an actor.

I bent down and extended my hand and said to Ranveer who was shooting arrows at Deepika in a cold voice coated with sweet, "I would have been happy if you had hit me, think of the news you could have landed in if you had punched me. Your career would would have been dead. Deepika saved your career."

Ranveer was shocked for a moment. I said to him in a sweet tone, "Don't worry, I won't destroy your career. I am not in the mood to destroy your career like I destroyed Deepika's career."

Marriage had ended when I said those. People were socializing with each other when I found Addar talking with his wife. I moved towards them ignoring all the people. My eyes were fixed on Addar who had been the only guy to hit me.

I would always remember the punch I got from him. I don't let anyone who messes with me to live in peace but Addar was different. He was like a corpse all through out his life. He didn't show much affection to his father even. I didn't know where to hit him, he was invisible to me even.

Now he is clear like a crystal. He is a family guy and I can hit him now. Make him cry, kneel down and beg to me. I will make him pay.

**Flashback: After Addar punched Ravichandran and stormed out after shouting at Catherine**

I stood up from the floor and saw Adam's sister who was nearly in tears after Addar shouted at her that she should not show her face to him. I turned my face to see Addar walking out of the club.

When he was out of the club, Adam's sister slumped on the floor. She was crying that she lost her best friend but she didn't see my face which was fuming with anger due to embarrassment.

A boy has punched me in front of whole club. I turned around and saw the faces which was shocked. Few faces were smirking at me.

Adam's sister still didn't see me as she was busy crying. One guy came near me with shaking legs which showed that he was on drugs. I know this club sells drugs illegally.

The guy who was unable to stand without any support said, "Ravichandran, How was the feeling when his fist landed on you?" I know that he is not in normal state.

The fear people have on me was a result of years of my work but a single punch destroyed it. That's how it works.

The drugged guy was saying, "You are not invisible. Hurt is not something you patented, people can use it on you too. Like this punch."

He wouldn't have said this if he was not drugged but as they say 'Drunk and drugged people can't lie. They say what's in their mind.'

He is saying what all these people are thinking. I lost my power and it's time I earn it. I need to do something to earn it. Something which even I haven't done.

What can I do to gain my power over all these weaklings?

Why not kill this guy?

Police might be notified. If they are notified then their investigation will prove that he was on drugs which is illegal so action would be taken on the club too.

Quickly I took a glass bottle near by and broke it on a table so that it broke into two with a sharp edge which penetrated his neck seconds later.

He slumped down near by Adam's sister in a flood of blood who moved away from him quickly. Everyone panicked and started to scream but they were interrupted by my loud voice, "SHUT UP."

Everyone was silent while I went near the owner and said in a voice which was enough to make him shiver, "If police comes here then they will find your illegal drug business. They will have to ban this club and arrest you too. I think few hundred thousands would be enough to clean this mess completely."

I turned back and walked while seeing the looks on people. Fear. I am Ravichandran so fear me.

**Back to present**

That was my first murder. I killed because of Addar. The man who was talking casually was the reason for the first murder. He might have thought it was over with that punch.

The truth is, That's the beginning. Addar became my target from that punch.

Before that it was just Adam but Addar did something more than Adam and he will pay for it.

I put a hand on his shoulder and he turned towards me. His eyes widened the moment he saw me and the guy adjacent to him stiffened. The girl near his wife clenched her fist.

But the reaction of his wife was what made me happy. The moment she saw me, tears formed in her eyes and came out to see me like a girlfriend coming to meet her boyfriend.

She ran away into a room adjacent to the room where she was talking with Addar moments ago. The girl beside her ran too.

My eyes which were fixed on her turned to Addar when I heard his voice, "Are you still living Ravichandran?" His eyes was full of happiness. I never saw Addar happy in college.

My hands went to my pocket and I replied with a sense of superiority, "I am not living here. I am ruling here." He lost the smile immediately.

Addar shook his head and his voice was emotionless, "You haven't changed at all, have you?"

I couldn't control my laugh. My voice came with interruptions due to laughing, "Did you expect a long lost buddy who talks about all the rivalry as embarrassing moments?"

His eyes hardened and my voice dripped venom, "It was not just a rivalry Addar, you touched my ego. That day when you punched me, you did the most stupidest mistake a human can do. You will pay for it. People surrounding you will pay for it. I would see you screaming with pain and guilt. You will feel sorry for setting your foot on ground."

Addar's eyes were red with anger. His voice which showed how much he wanted to punch me, "Do you know who I am? I am India's richest man. I am above you."

My voice showed how confident I am, "Being top has the risk of sliding down and hurting yourself easily."

I continued, "This is India. Rich and poor are easy to be destroyed here. Rich think they will win easily so a single defeat destroys them. Poor are ready to accept defeat and die. It's these middle class who fights and we have to sweat to defeat them."

Addar who lost his voice, said in a cold voice, "I am not your normal guy Ravichandran. I am above you Ravichandran. Don't mess with me. I am in a position enough to destroy you."

I couldn't control my laugh. After a few seconds, I pointed my finger in Deepika's direction while saying, "Did her high position stop me from killing her career?"

He was still silent and stiff as a steel rod when I continued, "I am waiting for an opportunity to see your pain Addar. You think you are invisible. I know all about you. More than this media. You are still the 10 year child to me when you lost your mom and Jenny."

His features changed immediately when I mentioned Jenny. This would show how much I know about him. I laid a hand on his shoulder while smiling as I saw his shaking hands. I continued in a voice with superiority, "I am not a rival businessman with vengeance on business but a guy who is obsessed to make you suffer."

I continued, "You haven't met anyone like me. I am a disaster to others but a God to myself. I am going to decide your life from now. Your happiness is in my hands."

When I was saying this, I saw a guy coming out of the room where Addar spent time with his wife. No one saw him coming out of that room. I think no one has seen him when they were inside too.

I saw Jason who under my thoughts and he started to walk towards that guy. I am sure that I will get an opportunity to talk to him later. Let's see what he has to say.

But who is this girl which Addar married, she seems familiar. May be this guy will answer that too?
