Chapter 32

Alice's POV

"So that is pretty much what happened last week..." I've been speaking on the phone with Ren for like an hour, narrating the adventures of last week, pacing around the campus with no purpose, since I have 2 hours blanc in my schedule. I decided to call Ren to catch up a bit, because the last week was crazy and we didn't talk at all. It feels relaxing to talk to my best friend brother alike once in a while.

The weather is pretty good. It's sunny, but a bit chilling, so I am glad that I took a cardigan, before I left my room.

"Let's sum up to see if I understood correctly...You sent the wrong paper, so you had your nemesis Joseph to hack your sensei's pc in order to send the correct one and the same day you had a drink with him?" he narrates the basic bullets in one breath.

"Pretty much yeah..." I admit, still walking around. I hate sitting while talking on the phone. I just need to be in a move. I have no idea in which side of campus I am right now.

"You worked with Joseph, the guy,you use a thousand swears to describe with and you also have invented around 100." Ren says in surprise, as he can't believe in his ears.

I have told Ren almost everything that have been occurred, between me and Joseph, leaving outside some minor details, such as how weirdly nice my body felt on his or how I lose myself sometimes in his eyes. I can't even admit that to myself, let alone Ren.

Vanessa has also been informed about what happened, 'cause she's been worried sick and in the end she was effusing over how nice guy Joseph is and all he needed was a chance to prove himself. To be honest I wasn't in the mood to listen all of his positive traits, so I pretended to listen to her at the end by just nodding. It was like she was trying to match me up with him. Also Nina knows almost everything, since she was keeping on calling me to know if the operation was succeeded.

The only thing that I kept from the three of them was the incident that occurred the day we performed the operation. I felt it like it was mine and Joseph's little secret and I didn't want to share with anyone. It feels stupid and also not so me alike, as I share many things with my friends and especially Ren, but I wanted this to be kept a secret. I don't know if Joseph did the same, since he's the bragging type, but I bet my house with my dad in it, that Nina would have mentioned something(waiting for a whole PG 18 description) if she had heard anything from Matt, Joseph's best friend.

"As impossible as it seems I did that! It wasn't easy, but it happened and he actually saved me big time and he didn't ask anything in return..." I answer to Ren with a soft voice.

"He seems like a cool guy to me! I think you were wrong and you misunderstood him... and shut your mouth, because I know you are about to yell." Ren says in a commanding way and I immediately close my mouth as he instructed. Damn Ren he knows me too well and I can't hide from him, even if we are at the two opposites edges of the world.

"Fine! I think I judged too fast, but the fact that he's an obnoxious womanizer hasn't changed." I raise my voice a bit and he starts chuckling.

"As long as he doesn't do again his summer thing I believe you don't have a reason to snap at him. If you were his girlfriend you would have every reason and I would fully support you, but you're not..."

"Of course I am not!" I shout. "How could you come up with that ridiculous idea? I am not and I will never be his girlfriend." I rave to him.

"I was speaking hypothetically." Ren says like I am retarded.

"Don't you even dare to call me HIS girlfriend, even in hypothetical way. Not in any way." I keep raving.

"Hai hai!" He says yes two times in japanese huffing. "Message received!"

"Let's change the subject. What did you do the weekend?"

"I went out with the same suspects to a new bar near Shibuya, in Tokyo."He starts saying.

"Great! How was it?"I ask him, still walking around.

"Really good!" Ren starts fumbling, about his night out.

Ren is a sociable guy and likes meeting new people, like me. The only problem is he's too friendly with girls he likes as well, so he sends the completely wrong message and as a result he ends up in the friendzone.

As he's talking, I keep walking around when suddenly I spot her. It's her!

Short girl with blonde hair. Tracy Fletcher aka the bitch who stole my paper. She is wearing jeans with ballerinas and a pink cardigan. I stood there watching her getting into the central campus cafeteria. Ren was still talking to me, but all I was listening to was just scattered words. My attention was completely on that little skunk.

"Ren sorry something came up and I gotta go! Talk to you later!" I say really quickly and I hung up the phone in a flash, before even Ren manages to answer.

My pace starts being threatening and fast as I am moving towards the cafeteria. I open the door with force and I scan the whole place, like a hound looks for its prey. There she is! Ordering coffee. That's the last coffee you're going to drink sweety.

I watch her carefully as she's taking her coffee to go to the bar with the coffee stuff. My rage has taken its toll on me and my brain doesn't function properly. The more I look at her the more I want to go there and give her a good piece of my mind. She stole my paper and that's something I can't let go that easily.

So I walk furious, to her direction. Everything else around me is frozen and it doesn't matter. Just her. When I approach her I say in commanding tone.

"Hello Tracy Fletcher!" I stand in front of her, closing her way to the exit with my hands resting on my waist. My whole body is prepared to take a fight. When Tracy listens to my voice she looks at me with a puzzled face. The moment she saw me her heart missed a bit.

"Do...do you... know me?" she mumbles really frightened.

"Of course! We share some classes together... like mr. Emerton's class." I say as indifferent as I can and her eyes widen. "Writing Systems! Does that ring a bell?" I ask her with a threatening look in a sarcastic voice and that has her heart is in her mouth.

"No, sorry!" She answers and tries to leave, but I block her way.

"Come on! Don't say you don't remember me! It's Alice Reynolds!" I exclaim still looking down on her. She tries to keep her face emotionless.

"Sorry! It doesn't remind me anything." She keeps on playing clueless and that's irritating and infuriating. She makes a move to leave again, but there is no way I am going to let her go.

"Maybe you remember my paper for the class. You know Japanese writing systems." That caught her attention for good.

"What are you talking about?"

"I am talking about the paper you stole and sent it as your own." I raise my voice looking completely intimidating. I am totally burned up.

"What???? Are you crazy????" She raises her voice as well and I am getting even more mad by what she's saying.

"You know I am not!"I am closing the distance between us. Her height is up to my chin.

"I don't know what's gotten into you, but you can't go around and accuse people like that! That's what crazy people do!" She continues singing the same song.

"Are you for real? We both know what you did!" I glare. "Just say it so we can go on with our lives!"

"Seriously? Girl, you're completely nuts!" She's about to leave, but I step aside and close the way. She goes to the other side and I do the same, not letting her leave. "Move!" she commands.

"No way sweetheart!" I smirk. "Just spit it!"

She puffs furiously before she grabs a glass full of sugar and throws the whole content towards me, taking me completely by surprise as I didn't believe she had the guts to pull such a bold move like that. And then she tries to push me, trying to make me fall, but she doesn't succeed.

I instinctively raise my hand, having my fist tight and moving it with force, in order to find her porcelain doll face. But suddenly the movement stops and I feel something warm against my fist, creating a resistance to it. My hand has frozen a few inches before her face.

My eyes in full confusion follow the hand that's been like a wall, curved around my fist, and I see Joseph standing with his messy hair and hazel eyes, looking intensively at me. How did he pop up in here?

"What's the situation here ladies?" he asks really casually, like he's the King who came to solve the poor people's problems, while he's lowering my hand.

"That lunatic came here and started accusing me of stealing her paper." Tracy starts complaining in her cute disgusting voice.

"Are you out of your mind? I know you are the one who stole my paper! Just admit it so we can get on with it!" I shout and I am ready to attack her again.

"Admit what? From which clinic did you escape exactly?" She keeps on playing the crazy card and honestly I am sick off it.

"Oh bitch stop provoking me, because he won't stop me the second time!"I show Joseph, who observes us carefully. "I know you were the one who changed the papers."

"Are you serious? I have no idea what you're talking about!" She insists.

"Excuse me..."Joseph chimes in and we both turn to him. "Are you Tracy Fletcher?"he asks with a smile.

"Yeah, that's me!"

"Stop saying all this shit you were saying, because you were the one who sent Alice's paper as your own." Joseph says in a steady voice, looking down on her, still with a smile on his face.

Tracy's jaw hits the floor. I flash a smile at Joseph and then look at Tracy with an evil smirk.

"Wha-a-a-at?" she mumbles.

"What you've heard! Just admit it, otherwise I am going to release her and as you can see she doesn't hold herself. You're going to have a good time!" He smirks and Tracy completely loses her shit.

I cross my hands and wait for her answer. Tracy looks once at me and once at Joseph.

"You don't have any evidence..." she mumbles terrified.

"And you don't have a paper anymore." Joseph tells her and her eyes widen. "I made sure of that." he smirks.

I take a good look of Joseph. He can be very intimidating if he wants. Tracy finally understood that she has lost the battle.

"Fine! I did change the papers, so I could send yours as mine and I was hoping you would send mine without noticing." she finally admits in a huff.

"Why?" I ask in a commanding voice.

Tracy hesitates at first, biting her lips.

"Because I was desperate! If I fail my classes, my dad will kill me! He's very strict about college!"she exasperates and I can see she's on verge of crying, but she holds the tears back.

Joseph and I exchange a look.

"Ok you have a bossy father and you were aware of that. Why didn't you stick your ass down to do it yourself, like all the other students?" I ask still angry and wait for a satisfying answer.

"Because I didn't have time! He made me take so many classes and I had so many projects, that I've lost track of the deadlines. I panicked!" She exhales and looks completely desperate, but I don't know if she's telling the truth.

I wonder how my dad understands the honesty of a suspect. It's so fucking difficult.

I look at Joseph, trying to read his reactions, since he was bragging about his psychologist skills. He is a bit suspicious, but his face characteristics are soft.

"Why should I believe you?" I ask in a hostile tone. My eyes are scanning her whole face.

"It's the truth! I swear!" The first tears start to make their appearance and somehow I feel sorry for her. "I was desperate and I acted without thinking! I'll understand if you give me away." she continues crying.

I don't know what to believe. That girl is a hell of an actress or she's telling the truth, but seeing her like this I want to believe the latter.

"Why me?" I ask, since I am really curious to know.

"Well you were the best student in this class. You were always answering mr. Emerton's weird questions and I was listening to you in spanish class, when you were showing the paper to your friend." She utters among her sobs. "Then I saw you at the library, working on the paper and when you forgot your stick I just did it! It was like an invisible force was pushing me to do it." She concludes. "I am so sorry! I know what I did it was wrong and I will accept the consequences." Her eyes look down and she looks really regretful.

"Don't worry, we're not going to say anything to anyone!" Joseph barges in and I look at him surprised. "Just don't make a habit out of it and don't pressure yourself. Tell your dad to chill a bit." he reassures her and completes his sentence with a smile. His charms on their full glory.

Tracy looks very relieved to hear that, but her face darkens again when she meets mine.

"What done is done. But don't ever do this again, because you're not gonna get away with it that easily." I warn her and her face lights immediately.

"Yeah of course! Not ever again! Thank you!" she apologizes with a timid smile and I think it's a sincere one.

"Thank him!"I show at Joseph and he gives me an astonished glance. Tracy looks at him to thank him and Joseph gives her a warm smile, before I start lecturing again, because I have to get rid of that tension.

"But if I ever catch you again, stealing any of my papers I swear to God I'll kick your ass and-"

"Yeah yeah we got it." Joseph eyerolls and he catches me, by the hand and drags me away from Tracy. She looks completely confused, but I keep on talking anyway.

"I warn you,I'll have my eyes on you." Joseph is still dragging me into the cafeteria and Tracy throws me a last glance, before she goes out.

Then he stops, but he doesn't take his hand off my wrist.

"I thought I told you we were going to do this together." he exhales and looks me into the eyes. His hand still holding mine.

"I saw her and I was on autopilot! Also, she started first." I try to defense myself and Joseph huffs.

"That's why! When you are angry you're like a bomb ready to explode. Thank God I stopped you!" he exclaims.

"How did you pop up here?"

"It's the central cafeteria. Pretty much all the students hang here. I was talking to a friend and then I saw you walking like Attila the Hun and that was enough to understand that a big storm was coming." he narrates and I pout. "Let's take something to calm you down." he proposes.

That moment he takes his hand off my wrist to put it on my back to guide me to the bar.

I felt a chill on the spot where his hand was holding me and I frowned the moment he took it away, but it wasn't noticeable. I let him guide me to the bar, since I want something strong to relax me, from the tension.

"For the record my threatening march is much cooler and sexier than Attila's the Hun." I quip as we are walking and he chuckles.

"Ok I'll admit that, but the rest parts are pretty much the same." he smirks and I put out my tongue like a 5 year old child. That made him laugh even more.

"So what do you want?" he asks me and I take a look at the the sweets.

"Chocolate for sure!" I announce. "It's the only thing that can turn me from Hulk to Bruce again." I smile, taking a better look of him.

"I wish I knew it sooner! I would have saved myself from a lot of trouble." he smirks and I eyeroll. "Coffee?"

"Duh! Obviously!" I answer like I am directing to a stupid person.

"Hey, Ted!" Joss greets the bartender. I believe there's not a person he doesn't know at campus. "Sorry about the whole music show." He shows the bar where sugar is scattered all around.

"Is everything alright?" Ted asks a bit shaken up and he looks mostly at me. Thankfully the cafeteria is empty so he was the only one who witnessed everything.

"Yeah... Sorry about it... It was..."I glance towards Joseph and then back to Ted. "A misunderstanding. Everything's solved." I try to smile warmly, even though I am still burning inside. Then I look at the mess. "Where is the broom so I can clean this mess up?"

"Don't worry about it. Believe it or not, I have seen worse fights here. Once a girl threw her tart to her cheating boyfriend." Ted confesses. "So what can I get you?"

"Two cappuccinos and which of these has the most chocolate?" he asks, showing the cake buffet.

"That one for sure!" Ted shows a chocolate pie, with Maltesers on it and I lick my lips from excitement.

"Thank you!" Joseph says as he's taking our orders and he takes out his wallet to pay. I am about to complain right away, but all he does is moving his hand to show me that we're going to arrange that later, so I take my goodies and I sit to the nearest table.

When we sit I start devouring my pie, like I haven't eaten something like that before. It really takes my tension away. Joseph is observing me and I can see the view amuses him.

"What's so funny?" I ask with a straight voice.

He shakes his shoulders in an indifferent way. "You!"

"Why?" I ask with curiosity, as I take a big bite full of chocolate. It feels like heaven.

"Because you're eating like Tarzan, before his savoir vivre lessons." he raises an eyebrow.

"Hey! I am upset! Show some respect! You don't want my fist on function again." I warn him pointing him with my fork. "Nice catch by the way." I admit, because he really grabbed my hand with a lot of strength and stopped me. To be completely honest I could trick him, so I could punch Tracy, but the moment I saw him the wild dog that was barking and was ready to bite, suddenly calmed.

"Thanks! I took my precautions, after our first physical contact." He takes a sip of his coffee.

I remember that day. It was in the exact same building and I was so mad at him, so I slapped him.

"Good! You're a fast learner and you learn by the best." I brag and take another bit of my delicious pie. My bracelets are ringing by the movement of my hand.

"You're the best?" he asks raising an eyebrow.

"Yup! You are an expert on the I.T department, but I have my expertises too." I smirk, full of confidence.

"That's the moment you tell me another of your secret abilities? I remember you said you have 101... The first was your fishing info technique and the second was the unlocking of a door with a bobby pin. I can't wait for number 3." He says in an amusing voice and he acts in a childish way, that I really enjoy.

"You write them down?" I raise an eyebrow.

"There is enough memory in here." He smiles and he pokes a bit his head on the side with his index. I don't know how I feel anymore about that smile. I think I hate that I love it. How can he act like an innocent child at once and then transform to a cocky womanizer? It's irritating.

He moves his body closer to the table, with his both hands on it. His face in the same level as mine, a tiny distance away.

"Ok Cyborg..." I say and he laughs. "I am an expert in martial arts." I confide with a cunning smile.

"Why does that not surprise me?" He relaxes his body back to the chair. "We can make a proper bank robbery now!" The last comment made me burst out laughing.

"If I am left out of cash, I will let you know!" I say in a collusive way and he smiles.

"That's a deal!" he announces and I chortle.

"What are you going to do with the money?" I ask and that question came out of nowhere. "Please don't tell me Vegas and strippers and stuff. I haven't finished eating and I don't want to throw up this chocolate dream." I huff and he bursts out laughing.

Then he puts his hand on his head to show that he's thinking. His characteristics transform a bit, but they are still perfect.

"Travelling around the world I suppose!" he finally answers and my eyes widen in surprise. "I would like to add with some hotties by my side, but dr. Hyde just fell to sleep." he smirks and I eyeroll in annoyance. Always with his stupid comments, that I enjoy.

"Where exactly? I can recommend you a few destinations, but I have to warn you that people have families and raise kids there." I tell him and he nods like he can't believe his ears.

"What do you think? That I am going to run naked on the streets?" He exclaims, trying to look like I hurt his feelings.

"I am not sure about anything with you." I say in a serious tone, but at the end I flash a smile, which he notices.

"Well, I always wanted to visit Europe, especially the Mediterranean countries. Actually I had a plan to travel for a road trip there, during the summer after high school." he confides in me and that really catches my attention.

"So what happened?"

"I have gathered enough money with my hommie best friend Chris. It was enough for the airplane tickets and some nights at a hostel..." he leans forward to me and tucks his hair, a gesture I really enjoy watching.

Concentrate on the story Alice!

"That's a good start." I encourage him to continue.

"I didn't have a problem to find part time jobs and live the adventure. I was so eager on doing that! Me and Chris were so excited." he continues narrating.

"I can't believe you are the adventure type of guy." I confess with a guilty look.

"I can do both. I don't mind camping and I surely don't mind a grand luxe hotel. I can be dirty and a gentleman" he winks and I give him an irritating look.

"Ok you managed to make me throw up in my mouth again!" I scold him. "So why didn't you go?"I ask with anticipation.

"Because my father was furious about it. He was saying that travelling like a hippie, will be a waste of time. That I would drop off college and the list of irrational reasons didn't end." he says in a monotonic voice, with no sentiment.

Joseph has mentioned his father, before like the person who taught him all the computer stuff, but his tone about him is always indifferent, emotionless and straight. I can understand somehow that his relationship with his father is not the typical father-son relationship. There's more in the story and maybe that's why Joseph let Tracy away that easily. That makes me wonder to know more about him. To know more, behind the person that everyone thinks is so cool and carefree and has all the girls in his yard.

"That's too bad! But imagine if you had met me that summer in an elevator in Italy! I was for vacations there and if I consider our previous meetings, there is no chance we would get away from destiny like Nina says." I remark and Joseph chuckles.

"I am sure of that! Also Vesuvius would erupt again." he smirks and I laugh out loud.

"So look at the bright side!" I wink. "But why something tells me you did your rebellion after all?" I am so curious to know more.

"Of course I did it!" he announces full of pride, like he conquered mt. Everest. "Me and Chris did a road trip on the East Coast! The money was sufficient for that, since we didn't have to pay for any plane tickets. It was one of the best experiences of my life." His eyes light of enthusiasm, as he remembers his days on the road trip.

It sure must have been a terrific experience and I wish I could do it. I haven't tested myself to see if I am the adventurous type. I've never been into the idea of travelling like that. The whole YOLO situation. I guess I need the right person to make me want to do it. The one, who's going to push me.

I want to hear more of his adventures, but I see my phone and I am going to be late for my spanish class. The truth is I want to skip it, but I know myself too well. If I start skipping classes like that, I will end up not going to any of them at the end of the semester.

"Joseph I gotta go! I have a class!" I tell him as I am standing up.

"No prob!" he answers with a smile.

"Thanks for today!" I flash a wide smile and I leave some money on the table, for the coffee and the pie.

Joseph looks at it, like I did something scandalous.

"You ruin my image" he complains.

"Just shut up and take it!" I command and he moves his head disapprovingly. "See you around!" I say goodbye to him and I take my bag and coffee ready to go, but then it hits me. "This is for you!" I open my bag and I take out a box, in a colourful wrap. Joseph observes first me and then it carefully. "I totally forgot it in this whole mess. I was about to call you and give it to you after my classes, but since we met earlier... Anyway it's yours!" I give him the box in the present form.

Joseph looks at it with surprise and anticipation.

"I told you I didn't want anything." he says.

"There wasn't a chance not to thank you for what you did! This is the least I can do!"

Joseph unwraps the paper and looks at his present in awe.

"Whoah! A last generation tablet! It rocks!" He looks at it with eyes full of enthusiasm. I am so thrilled he liked it. An unwitting smile crosses my face. "Thank you." He says softly and beams.

"I am glad you like it." I admit, trying to hide my smile. "Anyway I should leave. See ya!"

"See you around Alice." he says as well and we take separate ways, once we're out of the building.

Robin's POV

Come on ,one more fucking mile. I try to keep running with a steady pace, even though my body is tired as fuck after an excessive work out session with Alice. My body is spent, and so is my mind. I feel like I am running from life instead of this treadmill. I try hard not to think of Sophie, or how I feel about Sophie to be exact, but sometimes I can't help it, and it pisses me off. I control my mind better usually, trying to be rational, but it seems that I can't do that when it comes to Sophie....Sophie...I am so pathetic.

To try and think of something else I turn to Alice, who is running next to me, looking like she owns the place, and she does to be honest. Alice is a badass and a sass Queen. I could totally fall for someone like Alice..do I know someone gay like Alice? I am single ready to mingle, especially now that I have to be just a friend to Sophie...hmmmm.

"Hey, do you know anyone like you who is actually gay?" I ask as I lower my pace.

"Sorry! I am one of the kind!" Alice smirks at me. "Why are you asking?" She's asking really curious.

"I just think I am tired of my routine. Maybe a gay version of you would be a good change." I reply, but what I really mean is 'because I am falling for Sophie, and I shouldn't'.

"I know I am a hell of a person and you can't get over me that easily!" She smiles at me. "But don't lose hope! The good thing comes out of nowhere!" she winks.

"What about you? Has the 'good thing' appear yet or nah?" I ask trying to make small talk, but I am also curious. Most girls would have started the 'crazy college life' already, but Alice doesn't strike me as one of them..neither does our dear sweet Vanessa..or my Sophie..Sophie..damn it, not my Sophie, she isn't mine.

"Nah!" she moves her head in a negative way. "I went out a couple of times with the ΚΕΓ president, Steve... Do you know him?"

"Of course I know Steve, bitch! I am the only female member of the house! Well not an actual member , but you know..." I reply laughing. "Anyway, I have always been curious..is he big?" I ask and Alice bursts out laughing. Steve is a good-looking guy that walks around the house in his boxers most of the time.

"Well we didn't have sex, but from the foreplay I can say he would have satisfied me." Alice answers and she shapes the size with her hands.

"I have a strap-on this size! Nice! Sam owes me 20 bucks." Yep she does. We bet on it. We have bet on anyone on this house. You will be surprised by the things I know.

"I want a 5%, because I was the informer!" she winks at me.

"I will buy you a drink. I can't wait to tell Sam. We have bets on people we know. For a lesbian Queen, I have a very good eye!" I tell her while I lower my pace again.

"That's very intriguing! Will you start listing them or should I ask names?" she raises her eyebrow and she lowers her pace as well.

"Oh there's no need. The only ones we have in common are Steve, Nathan and Joss the Boss...you already know about Steve....umm...Nathan...he is new in the house and I haven't seen him in his boxers yet, but I heard he can satisfy the ladies...and ...Joss..well rumor has it, little Joss is EXTRAordinary....if you get what I mean" I wink and Alice almost fell from the treadmill.

"Are you speaking with facts or by the rumors?" she asks with eyes wide open.

"Please Alice, only facts. I am very serious with the bet, and a lot of girls talk about Joss. I am 100% sure of the liability of the stories." I point all serious looking. This convo is taking my mind off Sophie..I wonder what she is doing...

"Soooooo in comparison to Steve is he bigger?" she asks without looking at me and I exclaim a semi loud 'yes'. Alice takes her towel and sweeps her face and then her neck. "So how's Sam? Or you don't see each other a lot, since you hang out with Sophie all the time?" Alice changes the convo and I think she's more sweaty than usual. Shit, not Sophie again, I am on a mission to not think about her! But I am a very polite person so I will stick to the new topic.

"Sam is also busy with Nicky if you must know! And.... umm... Sophie is cool to be around, you would be amazed. We have spent a lot of time together.. She is cool." I try to sound like it is no big deal, Sophie is just another friend I have, when I really wanna say ' Sophie is the most beautiful girl I know..the sweetest and the most interesting girl in my world.'

"To be honest I don't know her very well. And by that I mean not at all." She makes a goofy grimace. "I met her my first days here, but I had other things to keep me distracted that day, so I didn't give much attention to Sophie." she says.

"Yeah well, hopefully you guys can be friends in the near future. She is amazing!" I start effusing over Sophie and Alice raises an eyebrow. Ok, Robin tune it down. Cool off. Sophie is just another friend.

"Ro, do you have any plans after the gym?" Alice asks me, distracting me from my thoughts.

"Nope! I am free, Sam is out with Nicks. Why?" I ask her as I get off the treadmill and take a deep breath. My body is burning!

"I am going with Vanessa to grab a bite and I was thinking if you want to join us!" she stops as well and starts stretching her body.

"Yeah I can do that! Vanessa is so damn sweet, I haven't seen her since the gathering. I am totally in! Oh and by the way Sam and I grade girls we know as well. Bitch, you are a clear 10!" I wink and she laughs.

"Ok you've got me! It's my treat!" she beams at me. "Btw you have such a good taste! Remind me to tell Sam as well, next time I see her." she simpers as we're heading to the changing rooms to hit the showers.

After we are done, dry and clean again, we make our way to the exit when a smiling Vanessa is already waiting for us, in her green light sweater and her white Chucks.

"Hi girls!! Ready to get back those calories?" She approaches me for a hug and then does the same with Alice.

"Hey Vee, I don't know about Alice, but I am starving!" I clap my hands together in excitement. I could eat a horse.

"How about you, roomie?" She asks Alice in a weird voice. It must be something between them obviously.

"I am famished! Martial arts practice always makes me like that." She smiles at Vanessa.

"To the grill it is!" Vanessa takes us both from the hands and drags us to the parking spot. My hand hurts from all the dragging but that's ok, Vanessa seems super excited for this. I get to my car and the girls get to Alice's and we drive away to the grill. I arrive first and get in to get us a good table and the girls join me a few minutes later, giggling and exchanging grimances. They make me miss my friends, we are like this too all the time. Soon the waitress comes for our order, and she looks good in that uniform. Hmmm...what vibes do I get? Nails say straight. Damn it.

"Hello, girls, what can I get you?" she asks and I eye her carefully for more clues. She is above average, and I do like the light brown hair.

"I will have a steak well done, please." Alice orders first. Good choice Alice.

"Steak huh? Hm.. I'll go for something more unhealthy. I'd like the mega burger, number 21 with no pickles please." Vanessa says next. "Oh! And extra fries! Thank you!"

Now is my turn. I stall with the menu and then I look up at her with my charming smile on.

"Hmmm....I am not sure...what do you suggest....Page?" I say as I lean a bit forward to see the name on the tag. She looks at me, smiling, and checks the menu for a second.

"I think 12 will be to your liking." she definitely winked at me.

"Ok, then, a 12 for me." With that she turns around and leaves us... Straight. Definitely straight.

"So Robin, how are you doing? I haven't seen you in ages!" Vanessa asks and supports her head on her hands on the table, giving me a dorky smile, that makes me giggle. She is too damn sweet...too sweet.

"I am doing good! You know, the usual, nothing really big, just chilling. You? I read the article about the gathering. Thank you so much guys for promoting us. Eliza said she had fun and is open for an interview if you like." I really liked their piece. The former editor pissed me off, Ashton is doing great!

"Really? That would be great! I'll inform Ashton about it! About Eliza and about you approving the lgbt article! It will mean so much to him! It was his first issue as an editor and even he was playing it cool, I know he will be happy to hear your positive feedback!" Vanessa says in one breath and Alice looks at her suspiciously. Okay, I am getting something over here. "About me now, well I am adjusting to the so-called college life. Attending my classes, working on papers, studying at the library with Sophie, having endless series marathon with the best roommate ever!" She winks at Alice.

"So Robin do you know any 'info' on Ashton?" Alice asks casually, but I observe a cunning smirk crossing her face. Ok, something is up.

"Of course I do! Girl I know Ashton, so I do know little Ashton as well." I wink at her ready to answer but Vanessa beats me to it.

"Little Ashton?" Vanessa asks puzzled and looks at Alice and me. "Woah, you mean... You mean that? Oh my Gosh, I don't think I want to take part into this conversation!" She covers her ears and her cheeks are crimson red. I burst out laughing. Oh my God she is so sweet.

"Umm... Vee...I think it's your eyes you should cover." I keep laughing and Alice joins me as well. Vanessa covers her eyes right away.

"I am still listening though! I can't do both!" She exhales and uncovers her eyes. "How do you know about Ashton's... Um... Little Ashton?"

"Sweet Vee, you can't exactly show centimeters with words." I say giggling as I show Alice the size and she approves with a thumbs up. "And to answer your question,I know a girl who knows a girl that knows little Ashton." I shrug as I see the waitress approach our table.

"There you go girls, enjoy." she smiles at me again and leaves our table.

"Ok, let's stop talking about male anatomy, which if you guys have forgotten, is not my specialty." I tease them. "Oh and speaking of anatomy and females, Vee you are a 9." I say and dive in my plate.

"That's my score? Wow, thank you, I am honored! Considering I don't hit the gym like ever and eat marshmallows for breakfast, I would put me a decent 5." Vanessa says and takes a big bite from her burger. Jesus Christ.

"Vee, listen to me..I am saying this with all honesty and all the gayness I possess. Lack of confidence is a turn off. You have the damn looks and a body to die for, so be a freaking 10, like Alice." I say putting my hands on her shoulder to shake some sense into her.

"I am terrible when it comes to confidence." Vanessa giggles. "Em scolds me about it all the time! But thanks Robin, you are a clear 10 as well! And since we are all 10 everybody will be lucky to get us!"

"Bring the rainbows and the unicorns now!" Alice teases Vanessa and she grabs a bite of her delicious steak.

"I will bring the marshmallows out of my bag when we finish dinner, that's the closest to what I can manage at such a time!" Vanessa throws a fry into her mouth. "Every girl I know is a 10. Emma is a 10. Brittany, our neighbour at the dorms is a 10. Sophie is a 10. Nina is-" Did she just say Sophie? Nooo..no!

"Woah woah Ness! Positive energy and fairydust has possessed you again! FYI men don't grade like that! The average grade is counted by boobs and ass and a small percentage of face. Many don't mind though about the face at all." Alice says firmly. Men choose differently from women.

"I guess." Vanessa shrugs. "Emma would do good, she has a nice butt but not very big boobs. Brittany has impressive looks, I think she deserves a good score as well. Sophie is really beautiful, her eyes are like-" Abort convo, abort convo! "So big and bright. And she has a nice body too." And here I thought this would be a Sophie free period.

"Unfortunately I haven't seen Emma live and I will agree about Brittany. Sophie is fine I guess, but I remember that time at the cinema she had the face expression of a cold blooded murderer and that expression was pinned, even before I started fighting with Joseph. If she's walking with that face everywhere I doubt she will attract anybody." Alice says in a serious tone and sips water. What? No, Sophie is not like that!

"Um...I don't think Sophie is like that, like...at all!" I am about to defend her but this isn't what I should be doing. I am supposed to not be thinking about her. "She is a 10." I say firmly, intended to stop this now.

"A perfect 10 for me was the girl, you were dancing with at the team's victory party. She had a perfect body and she was really beautiful. Remember how Nathan and Joseph were drooling over her, until you mentioned she was gay? Too bad I didn't take a picture of their frowning faces." Alice remarks, sniggering.

"That's right! Sonia! I forgot about her, Alice you are a life savior!" I say and she looks at me puzzled at me exclamation.

"I would like to see that picture of Nathan and hang it on the wall so I could throw darts on it." Vanessa makes an annoying grimace.

"Hey, did he do anything else to you this past week?" I ask alarmed. I told him not to play around with Vanessa, imma kick his balls.

"It's not what he did, it's what he didn't do." Vanessa eyerolls. "Anyway, I am in the middle of an extraordinary meal, I don't want to loose my appetite by talking about him." She says the last word full of disgust and takes another bite from her burger.

"Ok, but if he does anything you don't like, tell me ok?" I ask her pouting. I am gonna have to talk with Nathan again, and soon.

"I am so lucky to have so many badass people coming to my defence. Thank you girls." She says after chewing.

I grin at her and then wink as we stop talking and continue eating our delicious food. We began talking again during dessert exchanging childhood stories and general interests, and of course gossiping. I had a great time with the girls, they are cool to be around, and they helped with my situation. Hanging out with them took my mind off Sophie for a while, and Alice's comment on Sonia made my brain click. Sonia is a very beautiful, sexy, gay girl, and I do have her number! Ha, see? Problem solved!

I sigh in relief the moment I sit behind the wheel. This is a great plan. I need to text her.
