A/N: If you are a Tomshlie fan this might be the chapter that you have been waiting for! Although it may seem like it should be this is NOT the end of this story. A lot more is going to happen with this book! It's no where near the end so please don't worry! Also the song that I've put in I was listening to on repeat while writing this and it made me fangirl while writing so I recommend having it playing lol! Anyway on with the story!

*Cory's POV*

''Already got her.'' I couldn't even explain in words how happy it made me when I got that text from Tommy. He got her all on his own, I probably seem like an overprotective mother right now, but Tommy is like a brother to me, I'm proud of him like any older brother would be of his little brother. ''Why are you so happy all of a sudden?'' Nick said. He looked worried. He tried to seem tough but I could see right through his act. ''He did it, he saved her.'' I said, I couldn't stop smiling for some reason. I know I'd just found out that my friends aren't dead but still. ''See, I told you you had nothing to be worried about!'' Nick said. The relief in his eyes, I could tell he was over the moon too. ''Yeah I guess... anyway about Uni, he said that he was going to try to get a plane ticket for tomorrow, he can get them easily because someone in his family works for airlines or whatever, he'll be here tomorrow." I said, half trying to change the subject, half trying to let him know what was happening. "Dude that's awesome, we finally get to meet Uni after it being so long since we all first met up!" Nick said, he sounded more excited then me? Why I don't know, maybe it's because I'm still worrying about Tommy and Ashlie, I know they are okay but still. "Agreed, speaking of Uni I'm going to tell him that Ashlie and Tommy are safe, he might be worried." I said. "Good idea, it's like 7:00am now and I'm really tired, I might try to get some sleep before they get back." Nick said as he walked over and threw himself on the couch. "Okay,  I will cook something to eat, maybe bacon sandwiches or.." before I could finish the sentence Nick cut me off screaming, "YES I LOVE BACON SANDWICHES" bacon sandwiches it is then! I walked off to the kitchen and started to cook.

*Ashlie's POV*

We had been walking for half an hour, my legs where starting to get tired. I still wasn't fully able to move right, not to mention my cuts where stinging. "Hey can we stop here for a bit?" I asked motioning to a park bench near us. "Sure, you okay?" Tommy asked me as we both went to sit down. "Yeah I'm fine, my legs are just hurting a bit." I said trying to cover up how much pain I was really in. I knew he could tell though. "I get you, my legs have been killing me this entire time, I'm surprised I can still walk to be honest." I shuffled closer to him on the bench and rested my head on his shoulder, I was so tired, I knew I couldn't sleep but I still needed to rest. "You never really answered my question before, why didn't the others help you and how did you manage to save me?" I asked, it was the first question I was more curious about. "As soon as I heard you scream I knew something was up, the others just thought you were pulling a prank or something. They told me to go to sleep and we would look for you in the morning if you didn't show up by then, I wasn't waiting though. I tried to wake them up and ask them to help me look for you but they refused, they shouted at me, they told me that I was being an idiot, in the end I walked out by myself and went to look for you, and thank God I did, when I found you, you where literally 5 seconds away from them putting a knife in your neck and ending you." The thought upset me. "I see, why wouldn't they help you though, maybe they where tired or?" I asked him "I still don't know myself, it was annoying though, I knew that I could do it on my own but I don't know it's just nicer to have friends behind your back." I knew what he meant, I was just shocked that no one else was willing to try to help me, I knew tommy would he is Tommy, I know how much he cares about me.

*Tommy's POV*

In my mind I was half listening to what we were talking about, half wondering if, when and how I would tell her that I loved her, she still doesn't know, well from what I know at least. I don't know how she would react, what she would do. I know I can't keep this to myself forever though, I had to say something. Just what?

"Hey... Ashlie? Can I tell you something?" I asked, I couldn't keep it to myself any longer. "Yeah what's up?" She asked me. My heart was pounding. "I don't know how to say it..." I said, she lifted her head from my shoulder and turned my head to face her. "Just say it how you would say it in your head." She told me, was I really about to do this? I guess this was it. "Ashlie I- I love you, a lot, and have done for a long while, you make me happy, all you have to do is stand there and just be you, I don't ever want to leave your side, I'm sorry if it's too much but it's been on my mind for so long." As soon as I finished the sentence I was tackled into a hug, I hugged back, tight. "You are one of the most amazing people I've ever met, you care so much about me as do I you, you make me smile just by seeing you laugh and smile, you are strong, mentally strong, no matter what goes on inside your head you fight it and you carry on, your the funniest person I know and you never fail to make me smile, I love you too Tommy, don't ever change who you are. Ever." I couldn't help but smile at what she said, that went a lot better than I was expecting it too. I pulled her closer to me. Although it was 7:00am it was still dark outside because it was January, first month of the year, best ever start to the year, I loved her and she loved me, that's the only thing that matters to me. She's the only thing that matters to me, and I will hold her in my arms forever if I could.

Update: so I'm a silly little idiot and it was 2:00am for me and instead of hitting publish I hit save so it was delayed another day, sorry! A lot of stuff happened irl for me yesterday (reason I was still up at 2:00am) so I was tired, sorry! Anyway I hope you enjoy this chapter!
