It's a known fact that when you die, your brain is still active for some time afterward. We are told that is because we relive our most precious memories in order to pass on.

However for those who die young, this is a complete lie.

Within those last moments of your brain still working, you actually get to see what your life would've been. Or at least, what it could've been.

The process is quick, and although while very clearly seeing your life play out in front of you, it's sad. The emotions you may feel aren't real, but they feel real to you. Afterwards, you're left with nothing but an empty feeling, because what could've been never was.

This is the reason why my life is, and was, unfair.
