Menagerie Oceans, 3rd POV

The ocean was calm under the moonlight, its surface shimmering like liquid silver. A large cargo ship, carrying essential supplies bound for Menagerie, sailed steadily through the Pacific waters. Onboard it was a Faunus crew working tirelessly, ensuring the shipment remained secure. They knew the risks—the waters between Menagerie and the mainland were rife with opportunistic pirates.

And sadly tonight was no exception as pirates and Grimm were known to sail these waters to take the supplies. In the shadow of the waves, a fleet of sleek submarines glided silently toward the vessel, readying to sink the ship and steal all of the supplies. Inside the lead submarine, the pirate captain leaned forward, a predatory grin stretching across his face.

"Alright lads remember, no survivors," the captain,"those flithy Faunus freaks don't deserve this cargo, they stole it from right working humans like us! We take everything, and sink the rest of those freaks to die."

His crew cheered, their voices echoing in the steel chamber looking forward to killing Faunus and stealing the loot. Armed and ready, they prepared to surface and board the cargo ship, which wasn't defended thanks to their benefactors, which is why they have submarines. The submarines rose closer, the hum of their engines masked by the rolling waves, but deep below them...

Something talked them, watched them with glowing green eyes...then it sinks into the shadows...looking to strike.

With the lookout in the lead submarine, he was looking at the sonar, then suddenly his face turned pale as he stared at the sonar screen. An impossibly large shape moved toward them with alarming speed. It was to fast for a whale, but to large for any of the other local wildlife of in the area. He quickly used his controls to look through the cameras, trying to find what was in the water, but he can't see anything

But just as he was about to forget just forget and play it off as technically problems, but then suddenly something HUGE passed by the camera. Thats when the first scream came from the man, who jumped from the chair in fear. This caused many of the crew members to look at the man, who was so pale they thought he saw a monster

"Captain...there's something in the water," the lookout yelled in fear

The captain frowned, leaning over the console to see what was causing such a fuss. The sonar image flickered, then solidified into massive, serpentine figure, far larger than their submarine, appeared on the display. He grunted as he looked at the man, yelling over a small think like a small Grimm, maybe a Sawshark or a Hammerwhale, something they can kill easily with he guns

But...it was way bigger

"Don't lose your nerve, boy," the captain yelled,"probably just a whale, so stay on course and ready the guns!"

The crew soon started getting ready for the attack, but suddenly the water around the submarines began to churn violently. Lights from the vessel illuminated a grotesque silhouette slicing through the depths, it was long with white and red skin. The creature was colossal, its form twisting with an unnatural grace, a low, guttural roar reverberated through the water, shaking the very hulls of the submarines.

"Captain the ballast tanks are failing," a crew member yelled,"something's hitting us!"

Suddenly, the lead submarine lurched to the side, they looked at the camera to a massive claw like object slam into its side, metal screeching as it was ripped apart like paper. Water flooded the compartment, the screams of the crew drowned in the chaos. Many of the men were yelling as they were drowning in the water, not being able to escape as the doors were sealed

The other submarines scrambled to retreat, but the creature was relentless as it roared, causing the men to all freeze in terror. It darted between them, its bioluminescent eyes glowed, casting an eerie light in the dark waters. One by one, the pirates were pulled under into the vast darkness of the water, their vessels torn apart by the beast's immense strength.

Onboard the cargo ship, the crew members watched in horror and awe as the water erupted into chaos. Bright flashes of light illuminated the monstrous form beneath the waves, a creature straight out of a nightmare. The roar was heard from the surface, but they knew what it was...the Guardian of the Seas.

"The Guardian," one young Faunus member said,"I've only heard rumors of it, but it actually see it!"

"I know right," the Captain said with a smile,"I've laid eyes on the Guardian three times in my life. It's always protecting the ships from the dangers of the waters, last time it killed a Sea Feilong by its lonesome and destroyed a fleet of pirates last year."

"How long have people known about it?"

"Hmm a few years, it's a docile creature and it doesn't show itself much. Only when danger comes around does it come to vanquish evil," the Captain said as he pulled his hat down,"anyway let's move on, we have a schedule to keep."

"But sir, what about survivors," another crew member asked

"Survivors? Trust me kid...the Guardian doesn't leave any."

The crew members all looked at the captain and then to the sea, which soon fell silent, save for the sound of waves lapping against the ship's hull. The creature vanished as quickly as it had appeared, leaving only floating debris, dead bodies and silence in its wake. The cargo ship, untouched, continued its journey under the watchful eye of the deep.

And the Guardian

Kauai Island

The scene soon transitioned seamlessly from the chaos of the deep ocean to the tranquil shores of Kauai Island. The early morning sun painted the sky in hues of pink and orange, the waves gently lapping against the pristine sand. A lone house sat nestled among the palm trees, its back porch opening directly to the beach. It was a modest, weathered home, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature.

The kind of place where peace came naturally for some people. Inside, the air was still and quiet, save for the rhythmic sound of ocean waves just outside.

That peace, however, was about to end...loudly

From the distance, the faint sound of giggling and mischievous chatter grew louder. The front door burst open, and in bounded Stitch, carrying what looked like an entire beach umbrella...and somehow...an inflatable flamingo float? Behind him, Lilo followed, dragging a bucket of sand she'd apparently brought along for reasons only she understood.

"Okay, Stitch, we have a mission," Lilo,"today, we're gonna make sure Koa doesn't stay in bed all day again. He needs some fresh air!"

"Ih! Big sleepyhead," Stitch said as he smiled mischievously

The two bolted into the house like a whirlwind of chaos and insanity. Stitch immediately leapt onto the kitchen counter, managing to knock over a stack of neatly placed books while somehow tying the inflatable flamingo around his waist. Meanwhile, Lilo stomped toward the bedroom with determination, leaving a trail of sand in her wake.

Inside the room, sprawled on a simple bed, a young boy with short spiked black hair and sea blue eyes laid sound asleep, his face serene and calm. Lilo rolled her eyes, hands on her hips.

"Wake up, Mister Ocean Man," Lilo said,"the world's waiting!"

There was no response, only light snoring and breathing, which Lilo groaned as she should have guessed. Stitch scuttled in after her, carrying a ukulele he'd somehow acquired from who-knows-where.

(Okay seriously, where did you get the ukulele Stitch?)

(IH! Me no tell!)

With a wild grin, he began to strum it furiously, creating a cacophony of noise that was somehow both a tune and completely chaotic. The boy on the bed groaned, turning onto his side, a pillow now firmly over his head. But he couldn't resist for long, so he slowly sat up, hair disheveled, his calm demeanor betrayed by a barely-suppressed laugh.

"Alright alright, I'm up," Koa Kai said,"what's the emergency this time?"

Koa Kai:

Lilo grabbed his arm, attempting to drag him out of bed with all the might of a determined child.

"No more sleeping! You're coming to the beach with us," Lilo said as she pulled,"Stitch and I have plans, and you're part of them!"

He raised an eyebrow, an amused smirk playing on his lips. Instead of complying, he flopped back onto the bed dramatically as he pulled Lilo onto the bed with him, laying an arm across her stomach.

"Oh no! I'm too tired," he stated like a dramatic man,"I think I might need—oh no—a full day of rest! You'd better go without me, the effects are wearing in."

Lilo groaned loudly, crossing her arms with a pout that would make any adult coo or awe at. Stitch wasn't having it at all, he leapt onto the bed, bouncing wildly and somehow managing to flip it halfway over. Causing the three to go flying onto the floor, with Lilo landing safely on a pillow, while Koa landed on the hardwood floor. Stitch then jumped on his chest, jumping wildly again

"Lazy! Lazy! Lazy," he yelled

Finally giving in to the chaos, he shoved Stitch off and stood up, raising his hands in mock surrender with a smile.

"Fine, fine," Koa said with a smile,"but only because you two are clearly out of control. Let me at least brush my teeth before you drag me into another one of your schemes."

Lilo grinned triumphantly, while Stitch did a small victory dance. As he walked toward the bathroom, he dramatically shuffled like a zombie, mumbling.

"Beach time, sun, sand," Koa stated dramatically,"sounds terrible. Let's do it."

Lilo and Stitch burst out laughing as he leaned into the performance, stumbling comically out the door and toward the beach. Soon as he finished his teeth, he puts on a black and blue colored button up and his favorite black swimming trunks. Then he grabbed his surf broad and looks to one of his lamps, which soon started buzzing around in it

"Come on Sparky, you know they won't stop until we follow them," Koa said

Soon a small bundle of electricity came out of the lamp and soon twirls until a little furry creature stood on his shoulder. It looked like Stitch, but with yellow fur, two long antennas and a blue tongue, it smiled as it stood there. Koa smiled as they walked out of the house, with Sparky resting on his shoulder and the cool warm breeze brushing against their skin

Sparky:

The golden sun hung high over Kauai Island, casting warm light across the beach as the waves rolled lazily to shore. The sound of laughter, ukuleles, and the aroma of roasted pork filled the air, a lively luau was in full swing, with the island community and ohana gathered to celebrate. Long tables lined with tropical fruits, traditional dishes, and handmade decorations stretched along the sand.

A large fire pit crackled at the center of the gathering, where dancers in grass skirts twirled gracefully to the rhythm of the music. Koa stood near the edge of the festivities, leaning against a palm tree as he watched on. He looked completely at ease, enjoying the sun and warmth. Lilo and Stitch were busy running around the tables, already sampling the food despite Nani's protests.

"Lilo! Stitch," Nani yelled,"at least wait until everyone's seated before you start eating!"

"But I'm starving," Lilo yelled,"we ran all the way here form Koas house!"

"Ih! Hungry now! No rules," Stitch yells as he devoured a bologna sandwich

Koa chuckled, shaking his head as he walked over, his bare feet sinking into the sand. He patted Nani's shoulder, then gestured to the huge crowd of Stitch's cousins and the rambunctious aliens of the Ohana

"Don't worry, Nani," Koa said,"it's impossible to keep those two in one place for more than five seconds. Let them burn off their energy, they'll be more manageable that way."

Nani sighed but smiled, clearly used to the chaos but thankfully Koa managed to keep her sane. Nearby, several of Stitch's cousins—the experiments—were already making their mark on the party. Sparky lit the torches with quick zaps of electricity, earning cheers from the crowd. Reuben hovered near the food table, piling a plate high with sandwiches.

Angel sang along with the music, her melodic voice captivating everyone nearby. Splodyhead showed off by popping fireworks into the sky with his fire-spewing head. And Slushy creating a bunch of snow ones for the little ones, making them all cheer as they ate everything at the Laua. Even Jumba and Pleakley were there, attempting to blend in—though Pleakley's overenthusiastic hula dancing left much to be desired.

"Am I not the picture of grace and authenticity," Pleakley asked dramatically

Jumba rolled his eyes, munching on a pineapple slice.

"You are picture of something, Pleakley," Jumba said,"but certainly not grace."

Koa chuckled as he sat down on a driftwood bench, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere, Lilo came barreling over, tugging on his arm like she always did when she wanted him to join in on something

"Koa, you have to join the hula dancers," Lilo said,"c'mon, it's part of the tradition!"

"Me...dance," Koa asked, raising an eyebrow,"Lilo, the last time I tried that, I'm pretty sure someone mistook it for a natural disaster."

"Come on, big guy! Don't be boring," Lilo said,"Stitch can do it, and you're way taller than him. It'll be hilarious!"

Stitch bounded over, wearing a grass skirt and flower lei, already shimmying with reckless enthusiasm.

"Ih! Hula good! Koa scared," Stitch asked with his cocky smile

Koa sighed dramatically, standing up and stretching his arms as he pretended to be dead. He couldn't win with this two, Lilo with her eccentric enthusiasm and endless stamina puts Koas to shame. And Stitch...well it was Stitch, there no need for an explanation on him

"Fine, but don't blame me if this luau ends in disaster," Koa said with a smile

The crowd cheered as Lilo dragged him to the fire pit, where the hula dancers were performing. Koa stood awkwardly at first, towering over the graceful dancers. But as Lilo and Stitch joined in, their antics drew laughter from everyone, including Koa himself. Soon, even Koa was swaying and moving to the rhythm, his natural athleticism making up for his lack of skill.

"Aw, look at him go," Angel said with a smile,"maybe he's not so stiff after all."

"I HEARD THAT!"

Soon the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the sky in vibrant hues of red and orange, the luau transitioned into a quieter, more relaxed vibe. Families gathered around the fire pit, sharing stories and enjoying the music. Koa laid on a beach chair, gazing at the ocean as he hummed a tune to himself, clearly in deep thought. Lilo and Stitch joined him, both munching on malasadas as the two laid on his sides

"This is nice, huh," Lilo asked,"everyone having fun, no bad guys, no craziness...just good times."

"Yeah, it's moments like this that make everything worth it," Koa said,"sometimes I'm thankful that I live here, it's the best place to live."

Stitch leaned against Koa, letting out a satisfied burp as he rubbed his belly. Sparky soon zapped over, soon landing on Koas chest and bundled there as he soon started to snore

"Ih. Good food, good fire, no trouble," Stitch said

Koa chuckled, patting Stitch and Sparky on the head, both humming as soon Lilo jumped up and ran to grab something, Stitch following him. Soon they both came back carrying a surfboard nearly as big as she was, while Stitch balanced precariously on top of his, his tongue sticking out in concentration. Soon Koa followed behind, carrying his own board casually under one arm.

The moonlight danced across the waves, casting the ocean in silver and making it look like an endless dreamscape. The air was warm and inviting, the perfect conditions for surfing. Koa knew she wanted something for Koa to join in on, cause Koa was known to be the best surfer here, so she wanted to try and beat him

"Okay, Stitch and I have been practicing," Lilo said,"e're gonna totally crush it out there tonight."

"Ih! Big waves! Big stunts," Stitch said

Koa chuckled, setting his board down on the sand as he adjusted the strap around his ankle.

"Alright, show me what you've got, surf champs," Koa said with a smile,"but don't get too cocky, or I might have to show you how it's really done."

"Oh, you're on, mister," Lilo yelled with a smile,"don't cry when I out-surf you!"

The group paddled out into the water, Stitch leading the way with his usual boundless enthusiasm. The waves were calm at first, but as they ventured farther from shore, the ocean began to swell, building into the perfect playground for surfing. David and Nani were clapping for the two, David was especially happy cause he couldn't wait to see how they fair from their training

Out at the ocean, Lilo caught the first wave, her small form expertly balancing on her board as she rode the crest. She wobbled slightly but managed to stay upright, grinning ear to ear as she zipped toward shore.

"Did you see that? Nailed it," Lilo yelled with a smile

"Good work Lilo, now stay there and keep it nice and steady," David yelled

Stitch wasn't far behind from her, standing on his hands with ease. He then launched himself onto a wave with wild abandon, his board spinning and flipping in ways that defied physics. At one point, he even balanced on one paw, much to Lilo's frustration as she pouted.

"Stitch! Stop showing off," Lilo yelled

"Ih! Showing off fun," Stitch yelled

The two laughed and splashed each other, their friendly rivalry making the moment even more chaotic. This made everyone laugh at the two as Koa hung back, waiting for the perfect wave. As he paddled, he could feel the energy of the ocean around him, the pull and rhythm of the tides as natural to him as breathing. A massive wave began to build in the distance, and Koa smiled to himself.

"Alright, let's see if I still got it," Koa said

He paddled hard, timing it perfectly as the wave lifted him. In one smooth motion, he rose to his feet, his movements graceful and fluid of a pro. The wave surged forward, and Koa carved through it with precision, leaning into sharp turns that sprayed water into the moonlit air. He breathed in as he flowed with the wave, clinching his toes a bit

The others stopped to watch as Koa pushed the limits of what seemed possible for most pros. He crouched low, letting the wave curl over him in a shimmering barrel before emerging triumphantly. Then, with a flick of his foot, he sent the board airborne, flipping it beneath him as he landed seamlessly back on the wave.

"Whoa," Lilo yelled in admiration,"that was insane! Did you see that?!"

"Big showoff! Want try," Stitch yelled

But Koa wasn't done by a long shot, he sees another massive wave approaching, he grinned mischievously. Tapping into his abilities, he let the water respond to his will. The wave rose higher, towering over the others like a moving mountain of glass. With a burst of speed, Koa rode the colossal wave, weaving through its curves as if he were part of the ocean itself.

At the peak, he leapt from his board, diving into the water with a splashless grace that left the wave shimmering behind him. The group stared in awe as the water began to glow faintly with a light cobalt blue. Bioluminescent streaks rippled across the surface, trailing behind Koa as he emerged from the depths. He playfully splashed the others, the glowing water lighting up their laughter-filled faces.

"How did you do that," Lilo asked in amazement,"that was amazing!"

Koa shrugged, his smile calm and knowing of how, he chuckled as he reached and rubbed her head.

"Just a little ocean magic, nothing fancy," he said

"Fancy! Very fancy," Stitch said, hopping up and down

Koa helped Lilo back onto her board, giving her a gentle push toward a smaller wave. Stitch, ever the daredevil, launched himself into the glowing water, attempting his own version of Koa's tricks—and promptly wiping out in spectacular fashion.

"Hahahaha nice try, Stitch," LILO said

"Bluh! Too much water," Stitch said as he spits the water out

The group surfed well into the night, their laughter carrying over the waves. For a moment, the world felt simple and carefree, the ocean holding them in its gentle embrace. As they paddled back to shore, Lilo leaned over to Koa, her face lit with joy as she jumped into his lap on the beach chair.

"That was the best surf session ever," Lilo said,"you're like, part of the ocean or something! Were you born in the ocean?"

Koa smiled softly, looking out at the shimmering sea as he looked at the girl.

"Something like that, kid," Koa said,"something like that."

He smiled as they sat around the fire, all laughing, smiling and eating as one big Ohana, and Koa smiled as he was happy to have a Ohana. As he never had one, but this...he would never trade it in for anything and will protect them with all his might.
