Neji shares a closer and more intimate relationship with Hinata in the series Naruto SD--he wouldn't let Naruto near her so Hinata wouldn't get hurt; he would rarely not give into her requests; by all means he was desperate to protect her; and one time he fainted at the thought of her boobs.
